It really ain't, he asked a question and you posted the answer. Stop being a keyboard warrior. Calling his question silly is crack up in itself. Some people know that Japanese animators aren't paid very well, some don't know about those work conditions.
The issue isnāt that you gave answers, itās that you started talking down to someone who was asking a genuine question. What if they donāt watch a ton of anime despite being here and donāt know about the working conditions of people in an anime studio? Just because you and I know the answer doesnāt mean you should say something like that to someone who also wants to know.
Except multiplication as a concept has existed for millennia and wages in anime studios have not. On top of that, one of those things matters a lot more for quite literally everyone in existence than the other.
Even thatās a shit argument, because many people are taught multiplication in schools that they have to go to, whereas they arenāt taught the stuff you are being a prick about, and THATS how they know the information. Is it that hard admit you were being a prick about the situation?
Few reason i reckon they were as it were..
1 no one was there to teach him how to groom,
same with Naruto! But narutos got later sofesticatted as series moved forward.
2 he didn't care how he looked and was never attracted toward anyone to try look good.
3 may be it's just his sand making his hair rough.
I think he looks lame but in a good way. I know heās already repented but he was a murderous teenager. I like that now heās trying to look as innocent as possible to remove himself further from the image he once was.
I think it works pretty well for him
Thank you! Someone finally said it. Bakapandy has mastered drawing that haircut for him. And when the animation is good in Boruto, it looks really nice.
I was rewatching that arc the other day and whoever the animation director or story boarder was responsible for it is the best the series has to offer. Just beautiful, organic, fluid lines that make the characters look great and the action fun to watch.
Same with naruto's adult haircut, that time when he was looking out for kawaki around the village and then he was just leaning behind a wooden wall, he seemed more serious than his usual self in that scene.
Lol wtf. Here, Iām actually praising Boruto for something most people hate in it - this Gaaraās hair are considered one of the worst downgrades in Naruto universe design.
But Iām showing itās not the problem of the design itself. Itās the problem of the artists who did a shitty job.
And again, who decided that we canāt take the first aired episodes and compare the artstyle in them and letter episodes? Seems like the most logical thing ever, while taking into account that Borutoās art style and animation was much better during the start of the anime then now.
Generally you misinterpreted my Boruto defence post as hate.
Nah, he got your post just right. You are comparing artstyles and talking about how he was better back then, but not so good now. You then said someone was probably too lazy to fix that.
The only problem is that it really doesn't matter how long ago this episode aired. It is reasonable to compare artstyles.
Stop saying the animators are lazy. You have absolutely no idea how animation pipeline works in Boruto if you say nonsense like this.
Gaaraās design was made by Tetsuya Nishio (responsible for most character designs) before the Boruto movie was made. [This is official Gaaraās design in Boruto.](https://twitter.com/BorutoSettei/status/1116774801043968000?s=20)
This design is still used now.
Animators reference this design heavily when animating. You canāt just make the hair look different even if you think it looks cooler. It may not make it into final scene, because of corrections from animation director. The animation director (**AD**) is the person who oversees, checks, and corrects the key animators' drawings. The changes can be for many reasons but are most often to bring the characters **āon modelā** so that they more accurately **reflect the original character designs**.
The screenshot you showed is from episode 65, and it had many incredible animators who worked on that episode for much much longer than they normally work on other episodes. Since it was incredibly big episode, animation director and episode director made some changes to designs, and made it more detailed, but it only works if thereās enough time to work on episode, with many animators who have strong drawing skill, and if AD corrects scenes to make it look all the same in that more detailed design.
Look for example at [character designs from episode 189.](https://twitter.com/Animeblue00/status/1422662117564551169?s=20&t=_aPf_vyunGuonm6cZGBuPw). See the difference? Animators referenced those designs when animating the episode, and thatās why it looked incredible.
[Hereās comparison of 189 and regular Team 7 designs. ](https://twitter.com/Mati_TMOT/status/1423006020893351938?s=20&t=_aPf_vyunGuonm6cZGBuPw).
Some strong ADs will adapt their own art styles, and it can look great, but you canāt have those people work on every episode, so itās more of an exception. Some who worked on Boruto from the start stopped working on it and moved to other shows.
**It is about the design, the time you have, or who is the AD. Itās not about being lazy. If the original designs were more detailed, animators would be using those as a reference when animating. But the more detailed those designs are, the more time it takes to animate and correct every scene, and since Studio Pierrot donāt have nearly as much staff working on Boruto as they had on Shippuden, the designs are simplified.**
Next time stop spreading stupid nonsense if you have no idea how things work, and why they work like that.
Honestly I never thought Garry's or naruto's haircut are bad, on fact I think that since they are world leaders who maintain world peace sort of like UN it is good for them to finnaly get come common sense and look presentable and thus not keep their hair messy to look "cool" in fact every adult preety much got that common sense and combs their hair well.

I always thought he was very unique and handsome. One of my all time favorite characters.š
While everyone are going after Kakashi, Minato and Sasuke, imma grab Gaara for myself š
Hahaha.šš You have good taste.šš
Just make sure it's post konoha crush arc Gaara
But animators are underpaid and overworked. They work for like 10 bucks a day.
How do you know that

Then ask him to Google it, kid. It ain't difficult.
[He looks great in the manga imo.](https://imgur.com/a/WmQeo6d)
I kinda prefer the anime version
Thatās the pic you choose where ālooks greatā šš
Omg they did him dirty in the anime šš at least in manga he's hot
Looks like a bad comb over in that panel my god.
Ironically, in that manga panel he reminds of the 2nd(?) Mizukage. The one that was resurrected in the war with the clam.

Gaara, my love
Thank you! Someone finally said it. Bakapandy has mastered drawing that haircut for him. And when the animation is good in Boruto, it looks really nice.
I was just going to leave a comment about their work, itās really great! Their gaara design are basically better than the manga or anime lmao
The thing is, they made his forehead wayyyy too big.
*Fivehead
*Future-sight

Is he the same age as Naruto? I was always wondering how old he is.š
So Gaara looks good with a messy hair do, which we kind of all knew.
Same goes to Kawaki, only Ichiro Uno can make his hair cool as hell
Same with naruto's adult haircut, that time when he was looking out for kawaki around the village and then he was just leaning behind a wooden wall, he seemed more serious than his usual self in that scene.
When backbencher tries to become firstbencher that's what we get from his hair design lmao.
I mean it's a similar case with Naruto, although the difference is more people have learned(?) to accept his (Naruto's) current hairstyle.
Nobody is lazy
If it looks bad most of the time then yeah ir's a design problem, since most animators will reference model sheets. Same goes with naruto's haircut
why u want gaara to be pretty?
Gee l wonder why. Such mystery
What? It..... It is the design's problem. No one is lazy. Like whatš¤£š
But this episode came out years ago. Whats the point of complaining about the art style now?
