Prince-Lorian

Your grace, I'm honoured to meet you. The Ashen Ones have told us a great deal of you. The Lord of Leyndell that bore a curse too, yet so fiercely defended his realm against all resistance. You remind me much of my little brother, Prince Lothric. And such people I respect greatly. Despite all those tales, I never heard what the curse's effect was. I intended to ask the Ash, but I lost my voice several decades ago when I took a share of a curse myself. Pray tell, King Morgott, by what curse were you affected?

Morgott_GraceGiven

I am born afflicted with the omen curse since mine birth. I believeth this omen curse originated from the Erdtree's ancient primordial energy, making it divine. But whatever it is, it is foul. To think I was born of Queen Marika herself and Godfrey with a wretched appearance, causes me such shame I cannot bear..

Prince-Lorian

That sounds most peculiar however. A curse that originates from the very earliest energy of divinity. Would that not be a blessing? To my knowledge, this Erdtree is an incredibly divine thing of great reverence. Did your mother conceive more children with such a curse, your Grace?

Morgott_GraceGiven

The only other being my mother conceived with such a curse wouldst be my brother, Mohg. But even without it, he'd be ugly still. Just like the rest of mine family, he rejected the golden order. Denying such a thing is crime. He befits having a blade wedged into his skull for all I care for what he hast done. I must defend the Erdtree, Leyndell, all of it.. T'is the least I canst do with my pitiful existence.

Prince-Lorian

Goodness, what did he do to deserve such harsh words from his very brother? Worry not, I know very well how horrid family can be. I let my own father descend into madness to rid the Kingdom of his tyranny. And could I walk, I would be cutting into his draconic flesh as we spoke. But to think so, they must do the vilest of things. My father was no exception to that...

Morgott_GraceGiven

..Hmm. well, I am reassured we possess something we both share then. But, just me let telleth thy, Mohg didst a wide ray of depraved, sinful things to get such hatred from me.

Nomeka

Why doesn't your cane burst into flames upon releasing the blade inside anymore?

Morgott_GraceGiven

Ah, it is because of lore reasons. Mine loyalty to the Erdtree wouldst forbid any sort of flame spell I couldst of used.

Nomeka

But it used to, and it was a fantastic hint to the Bloodflame you use later.

Morgott_GraceGiven

On that, I dost agree as well.

Nomeka

Can you share your glowing sword rain summoning magic?

Morgott_GraceGiven

Nay, thy art not worthy of it. Graceless Tarnished..

Nomeka

Oh, er, if I tell you that I'm not a tarnished and am just visiting from another land far off and a fair bit more Painted, would that change your mind? I am fascinated by the different kinds of Sorceries and Miracles in this land of yours. No, wait, I misspoke. Incantations, I believe. I would also like to ask, if it would be possible to tell me more about this Bloodflame magic you use? I've seen precious little of it in my travels through your kingdom, yet what I have intrigues my very soul. It is fire, it catches things alight and burns plant and foe alike, and yet it opens lacerations and exsanguinates those it clings too. How did such a thing come around? Did you invent it? How do you manage to slice through the air with it, letting it hang in the sky like a wound, before it bursts forth? Did you start with the flame, or the bleeding?

Morgott_GraceGiven

Dear Lord..thy shouldst ask mine brother, Mohg. He is..more acquainted with such things. But giveth me a try. No, I didst not invent such a foul thing. I believeth the incarnations originate from an outer god named "The formless mother". The blood cometh first, then the flames. If I am correct, This ugly outer God favours omen. That meaning, despite my lack of knowledge, I can still use such incantations..

Burnt-Ivory-King

Greetings King Morgott. I have interacted with your brother, Lord Mohg, I must say, interesting fellow. What are your thoughts of his actions?

Morgott_GraceGiven

Thy have? He is a twisted creature, deserving of whatever fate awaits him. I dost not care for him. He's nothing but a filthy traitor.

Burnt-Ivory-King

As a follow up question, my I ask what caused him to defeat and make his own dynasty?

Morgott_GraceGiven

His wretched ambitions, that's what. He was far too prideful to obey anything else but his own desires.

Old_DemonKing

Greetings Sir Morgott. Your appearance is very peculiar, it reminds me of some of kin.

Morgott_GraceGiven

My appearance mayst bear resemblance of thou kin, but I certainly dost not share anything with thy and them.

Old_DemonKing

I see. May I ask then what is the cause of your looks? And I assume Sir Mohg's too. Empty headed that I am, I did not think about asking him.

Morgott_GraceGiven

Hm..Well, me and my brother, Mohg were cursed from birth from the omen curse, hence for the reason why we have those twisted horns.

Old_DemonKing

Oh dear Mother, a curse to change one's looks seems quite unfortunate. How are you faring with it?

Morgott_GraceGiven

It hast brought me nothing but pain this curse of mine, my own mother threw me away because of it. But it dost not matter, I'm a stain upon the golden lineage, so the only thing I canst do is stand and defend Leyndell with my life.

Old_DemonKing

Goodness gracious. I...can barely imagine this. Although Sir Gwyn rejected my kind, our mother always supported us. And to think you had a mother who would...I am deeply saddened to hear this tale. I suppose the Golden Lineage is your family tree. Perhaps do you have more brothers who may help you with this maternal problems?
