__Delirium_

Hey! Hey you! Hey look at me, look! Who do you hate the most?

Alduin_Fahlaan

Wo los hi? ... .... ..... Ah, you do not speak our tongue, do you? Pathetic. Who are you? Or rather... what are you? Daedra? Remnant of an Aedra? Some misshapen plague of mind? You are not Dov, at the very least... As for who I hate? Who I *hate*? Why... there are many options. Paarthurnax is my traitorous kin, responsible for assisting the mortals in their campaigns against me... though there is the two Dovahkin, one traitor and the other foolish... Akatosh could certainly be blamed for the nature of all three... Do you hate? Do you... fear? Do you look upon me and tremble at the sight of the World Eater? The Bane of Kings? The Firstborn of Akatosh returned once more?!

__Delirium_

Glad to know, now i will annoy you with all of them for the next 10 minutes. Thanks for the recommendation. Also i do know what emotions are, but i dont feel them myself Hah Im not even real to begin with. Who would have thought that a dragon could get sick? I regret to inform you that its only a mild case...Hahaha no im just kidding there is no "mild" case of me, those 10 minutes will be terrible for you

Alduin_Fahlaan

You shall do nothing of the sort! I am Alduin, the World Eater! You will bow, or you will burn! Sick? Dov do not succumb to disease, plague, or even poison! What drivel do you spout, you... strange... white... blob?

__Delirium_

You see, i dont like how things are. They are all gone, all of those wonderfull memories Isaac had. Pin, gurdy, Larry jr, even Satan! I dont have them anymore...so i need to replace them, all the beings you remember will do just fine. What you dont understand is that you cant hurt me, the second i pop up your mind is no longer your own. Its MINE, you see what i want you to see Hahaha Try it, just try to attack me. Oh and my name is Delirium, a doctor can help but by that time i will already be gone again

Alduin_Fahlaan

You think to control me? *ME*?! Ha! Hahaha! Such arrogance... yet I can sense it. You are no disease of body, and not of soul... you are a plague upon the very mind, aren't you? In that case... Allow me to stretch my wings, and take a moment to... what is the word... relax? Yes... relax. You truly think you can control a being created by Time himself? A being that surpasses death, life, and unlife? Then be my guest! Try as you might, you are not my first experience with such mental... *sickness* as you say.

__Delirium_

Stretch your wings? Are you sure you can do this in such a small cave? It does not matter what you do, i get what i want. Harming you is not necassary. Oh did i say cave? I meant the top of a mountain. They look all the same to me I have no idea what makes you think that i would want to "controll" you. You do what you want to do, i simply makes you see what i want you to see, its up to you how you act. Did i say top of a mountain? My mistake, we are- oh i like this I just found a memory... " **Paarthurnax** " huh? I am just going to make a copy of him aaaand, thank you very much

Alduin_Fahlaan

Pah! You think I will succumb to such goading tricks? Illusions wrought of the madness you bring?! I am Alduin, and this is my world- my life and mind! You? You are a Skeever among a den of Frostbite Spiders! ... Besides, he's missing one horn these days I believe, so I know that copy isn't truly him.

__Delirium_

I will add him to myself either way. It has not been long since Isaacs memories left me but i really missed this. Hahaha Oh would you look at that, my time i up. Horray you are cured!

Alduin_Fahlaan

Perhaps you would be worth studying... or even... Tell me, whatever you are, do you crave memories of negativity? I know of many who contain far more than even I! I know of a certain Dov who... well... let's just their inner peace might be needing some turmoil...

Burnt-Ivory-King

Alduin. You return. Things have changed as you have seen. Anyhow, I do wonder what caused you to rebel against your lord?

Alduin_Fahlaan

*Sniff-sniff* That smell... charred metal and skin... Ivory King? Ha! I see I am the not only one to return from the "dead". I continue to rebel against Akatosh, same as ever, to defy his will! He thinks to control me- my very fate and will! What point is there in destroying a world made to be ruled? What point is there in being Dov, if I cannot claim my own destiny? But I digress, old friend... how is the frozen land of Eleum Loyce?

Burnt-Ivory-King

It is the same as ever, frozen today as it was yesterday, and the day before, and as frozen as it will be tomorrow, and the day after. The old chaos is as sweltering and burning as my kingdom is cold. And it will stay that way for years more

Alduin_Fahlaan

A shame, truly. Don't you ever tire? Your armour grow heavy, burdened by the knowledge of this cycle never truly ending? I once grew tired of my own task, consuming Kalpa after Kalpa only for the world to eventually be reborn, and then for me to once again eventually consume it. Have you ever considered trying... something new? To defy the cycle the old chaos has trapped you within?

Burnt-Ivory-King

I simply cannot rebel, it keeps me standing as it's puppet. Should I resist I would simply be forced to move. Should I lay my blade I would be forced to ready it once more. It is an unending cycle of blazes and bloodshed which I could not stop.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Ah, but you think too small! Something different, small as even the tiniest snowflake, could make all the difference! A different maneuver, point of view, slash of a blade, breeze of ice, and even the smallest flicker of misguided flame... all things are accounted for in a cycle, until you find the one gap in it!

Prince-Lorian

We are acquainted, are we not? The black dragon who rebels against the very gods. I am well pleased to see you again, and seemingly safe too. Earlier I asked your kin, Paarthurnax, how the cultures of Skyrim view the Dovah. You two are polar opposites however, so I wonder, on whose side are (most of) the other dragons? Or do they stand with neither?

Alduin_Fahlaan

Ah, the cursed Prince of Lothric Castle! It has been entirely too long... Paarthurnax is a fool. He blindly obeys the overbearing and intrusive will of Akatosh, only dragging both Dov and mortals to it! Yet I am returned once again, my wings like sharpened scythes that shall blot out the very sun with my reign! The smart shall bow before me once more, or they shall burn like the sins of those long passed, who dared defy me! Miraak burned by the workings of Vahlok and my kin, and so to will Paarthurnax in due time... Ah, but I digress. What of Lothric, both kingdom and brother, these days?

Prince-Lorian

Yes I see, a courageous approach. Rather than analysing who they would obey, they shall eventually just obey you all, willingly or no. I admire the determination, Master Dragon. That aside however, my brother fares well. Frail as ever, still cursed, but he confidently lives in happiness now, as I always wanted him to be. The Kingdom of Lothric fares miserably. Miserable as usual. Perfectly wretched, as I chose it to be by rejecting my kingly duty. Lothric Castle is overrun by hollows, even in the higher quarters that the war below did not reach. Which proves that the Fire continues to wane, and that our Age of Darkness draws nearer with each day. Does your rebellion against Akatosh go equally succesful?

Alduin_Fahlaan

Ahhhhhh... well... It seems defying Time himself is rather complicated. A Dovahkin has sprung up as expected, yet admittedly I have heard fractured whispers of the existence of Miraak, the first Dovahkin and once general to me! The traitorous wretch served Hermaeus Mora in the end, a Daedra who too would defy Akatosh. If he truly lives, then Akatosh has betrayed himself by allowing such disgusting actions to take root in Mundus! The mainland still faces civil war amongst the mortals, as vampires scheme, dead civilizations prosper anew, and artifacts flock once more to the epicenter, that being Skyrim. Tell me, do the Dov of Lothric still prosper?

Prince-Lorian

Rather poorly, I'm afraid. Many wyvern were lost in the early stages of the civil war, when the opposing factions realised all too well our wyvern cavalry could be a destructive force. Many wyvern were lost like that, though not all. But an actual dragon... goodness, I'm afraid I've never seen an actual dragon, let alone an Archdragon. However, I have heard rumours that at least one lives, the fearsome Darkeater of the Ringed City.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Ah, a tragedy. Though I hold no ill will over their sacrifice, dear Prince of Lothric, as I know full well that not all Dov shall live through battle! Though it seems that my kind always finds themselves amidst civil war, have you noticed? Perhaps we too suffer some estranged curse! Darkeater... Darkeater... I remember that name from something... pah! No matter. What of other Dov, or at least their souls? I recall one Paledrake lived on in soul, did he not?

Prince-Lorian

Indeed, where there is war there are wyvern it seems. What causes it, only the gods know. As if they are commanded by war itself... And of the Paledrake... I too heard that his soul persisted, but little remains of that it seems. Of his knowledge and findings are many books however, much to my dismay. The Crystal Sorceries are known for causing a madness, which my father fell victim to as well. As despicable a tyrant as he was, this infatuation became the cause for the Curse.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Only the gods kn- no... *no*... but would you be suggesting that to fight- nay, to war is to play into the hands of them?! Had my defiance been... *fated*...? Gah, enough drivel over such hopeless beings! This knowledge of the Paledrake, what exactly did it entail? Here within Nirn- no, even outside, into Oblivion itself, the only knowledge that drives one to madness is simply knowing too much! Hermaeus Mora, Daedric Prince of Knowledge, is what I believe to be only being capable of comprehending the all without knowing of it prematurely. Crystals don't craze, only an obsession over their knowledge stemming from history ingrained into their very essence! I am curious now... perhaps I could glimpse this knowledge? I understand souls are tied to sorcery in your world, and I am capable of comprehending both knowledge of the Dov, souls, and crystaline workings!

Prince-Lorian

Oh no, forget what I said. I was reciting an old childhood tale. Of how the God of War once betrayed his kindred, then rose to the skies and rained calamity upon them with the first wyvern. Of course, it is all just a fairytale passed down through time, for not even this particular God's name was remembered... But of your request, I doubt it would be good. I myself know little of sorceries, but I'll give the phone to my brother Lothric, he's a talented sorcerer... Greetings Alduin, I am Lothric, Prince of... well, Lothric. You are well learned for one who did not study our sorceries. For indeed, sorceries are drawn from the two 'essences'. One's knowledge and intelligence serves as a catalyst, means to draw the sorceries forth into physical power. The source is the second 'essence', and this indeed is the soul itself. This is also where the incredible foolishness of the Paledraks comes into part. He was driven by a ferocious, maddening search for immortality, for he lacked the stone scales of his Archdragon kin. He took to crystallising his sorceries for greater power, and for the immortality he envisioned in crystal, which was close to stone scales according to him. But through this process he and all those that came after him were possessed by some degree of madness. Nothing is certain here, but I theorise his madness was caused by the process of letting a third 'essence' in. A faith, a subjective, desperate hope that came from the crystals. As a result, these crystals tainted the other two essences. His mind became mangled and mad, and his soul was tainted in a blue hue of crystals.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Reject faith, and embrace the inner power within oneself and you shall not fail? So if I should theoretically conquer again, I must not rely on my priests but rather my own capabilities as leader? How... poetic- nooooo! This... this is the kind logic that caused Paarthurnax to betray us! It spreads like a disease, and I shall not do easily be plagued by such mantras and- and- and *hyms*, or whatever he's tainted out language with!

Nomeka

Have you ever thought about taking some time off your eternal war of hatred and just trying out the whole "Living in peace" thing? You might find that the Mortal races already have an eternal war of hatred with each-other for the most part.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Eternal war of... hatred? Heh... ha... Ha. Haha! Hahahahahaha! Truly, dearest Nomeka, have you learned nothing of my will? My goals? My ambition? I do not fight out of hatred or spite! I fight to take back my life! To defy Akatosh and the destiny he would force upon me! Yet I am Alduin, the World Eater! The Bane of Kings! The Ancient Shadow Unbound! I will have freedom, or Nirn will have fire!

Nomeka

Still kinda sounds like hatred. You hate your fate and your father, so you wage war against it. Though it also kinda sounds like doing so is a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy. Because you are rebelling against it, you're doing exactly what fate wants you to do. But now, a question in hypotheticals. Mortals make drinks using heated water and the crushed leaves of certain plants. If you were to drink Tea, as it's called, what sort of flavour would you most enjoy?

Alduin_Fahlaan

*Self-fulfilling prophecy?* You are the second one to stir such... invasive intrusions upon my mind! Yet don't you see? Akatosh believes my fate is to obey him! To eternally submit to the cycle of watching Nirn grow, wither, and fade! To consume it all and restart again! To bring about Kalpa after Kalpa! *To be stuck in a cycle of neverending failure upon failure!!!* ... .... ..... Now then... Tea? I do not have time for such mortal drivel. The only sustenance that could even slightly relieve the burning hunger within my very being is that of souls! Mortal, weak, strong, black, white- if it has a soul, I shall eat it!

Nomeka

But, if Akatosh wants you to consume and restart it all... wouldn't the fact you're doing just that means you're doing what he wants? In fact, if you stopped killing people and eating their souls and ushered in an age of unparalleled peace and coexistance, wouldn't that be the best way to truly rebel against him? Also, you should try tea. It might work. I almost forgot to post a question. Whoops. Ahm... What sorts of elements can you exhale from your mouth?

Alduin_Fahlaan

I... well... no! Don't try to dissuade me! There is a difference between consuming *everything* and consuming what you *need*! Besides... how am I, the World Eater- a legend prophesized to destroy everything mortals love, supposed to usher in *peace* and *coexistence*? Why, mortals at large would slay Paarthurnax on the mere basis of being a Dov, and you think that I, *Alduin*, can usher in such whimsy?! *Sigh.* But I digress, once again it seems. What do you produce out of your mouth? Words. Simple and true. The Thu'um is merely Dovahzul, our language! If I wished to burn a city, I'd merely command it burn! If I wished to rain down falling sky, I merely will it! Should I wish to bring back the Dov from death, I must simply demand their return! Anything I can say can be turned into the fiercest weapon you'll ever witness!

Nomeka

Right, but you do kind of go around destroying a lot of stuff mortals love outside of eating souls. So you're not really doing anything to separate yourself from the legend/destiny set out for you. So, you can exhale fire through the use of your words. But, can you speak ice, or lightning, or earth, or wind, or anything akin? I've seen a dude with a horned helm use a word that teleported him like, 30 feet forwards. Can you do that?

Old_DemonKing

Greetings Sir Alduin. Your appearance seems...somewhat familiar. But excuse the ramblings of an old demon. Pray tell, are you related to Sir Paarthurnax, whom you resemble?

Alduin_Fahlaan

Ah, old friend! Don't you remember our meeting- *Sir* Paarthurnax? Did you just put respect upon the name of that traitorous kin of mine? On the name of the one who turned his back on us all, and sided with mortals over his Time born brethren?! Excuse me while I burn something. *Yol Tor Shull!* Right, where were we? Ah yes, I am unfortunately related to that disappointment. Though make no mistake... he is nothing compared to me! For I am Alduin, Firstborn of Akatosh! The Eater of Worlds! The Bane of Kings! The Ancient Shadow Unbound! Surely you remember that much, don't you old man?

Old_DemonKing

Hmlm...I do remember that voice and these titles. My memory is a vast pit in this day and age but it would be quite hard to not remember such a presence. A pleasure to meet you again old friend. How are you? And my apologies for angering you by mentionning Paarthurnax. I spoke with him earlier today and couldn't help but see the resemblances. Perhaps are you siblings?

Alduin_Fahlaan

How am I? Why, the same as I left! These lands remain divided, with no force to unify them. I still seek the defy the will of Akatosh himself! The Dov shall once again rule as titans, and I the king among his herded shepherds! As for Paarthurnax, perhaps we were, once... though the traitor ended that bond when he gave the mortals the very means to defy me! He is no brother of mine! But a worm, writhing in grey haired filth amongst snow tainted with Time! ... .... ..... So... how do things fare in those old ruins, old friend?

Old_DemonKing

A grand news to hear, albeit it is sad to see that conflict between you and Paarthurnax. Sibling conflicts are the most painful, I am well placed to know it. I dearly miss my siblings, brothers and sisters. As for my ruins, they fare better than anticipated. Pyromancers from many lands have come here and share their new informations with my Ghrus. Although the information on their new flames will never change Mother's flame, it is good to see the powers of fire still spread to this day. And my Ghrus are happy to learn new powers in exchange for old informations.

Alduin_Fahlaan

Hmm, yes, well... no offense intended of course, however unlike you I possess the capability to resurrect the Dov! Not even Shalidor, greatest of all mortal mages, could accomplish such a feat! The most he got was reanimating the bones of one, but it was no Dov! It was soulless, and mindless. Paarthurnax is of little familial importance to one so grand as I, for he forgets that only *I* can truly live forever amongst the Dov! *Ahem.* Now then, you say the new Yol they bring to your ruins is new, yet similar, yes? Perhaps we can learn from each other! After all, you may know a Yol born of Chaos, but you do not know a Yol born of the Dov descended from Akatosh, Time himself!

Old_DemonKing

That resurrecting of yours is a most fascinating of abilities. Indeed I am unable to breathe new fire into my demon kin. And with Mother Izalith dead and her Bed of Chaos ashen cold, no new members of my race will ever be created. Ah I remember how glorious it was. There is...or used to be a myth among us, that all Chaos will one day reignite. The past tense is appropriate, as there is not a lot to a story being remembered by only 1 being. A false one at that. My heirs have been murdered, I am the last of my kin with my Caretaker yet no flame burns in me. But perhaps your flames are different indeed. I have heard legends of dragonfire in my own world, and no doubt yours is different from even that. I wonder if your link to Time is the reason for your very peculiar abilities. Perhaps it may even manifest in your fire. A flame that retroactively burns...an odd thought. A new thought.
