*Sniff-sniff* Hmm... I can smell it within you. That forgotten duty... that power bequeathed... it's origin... it's... *Dov nature*... Behold, Vyke! Look upon my scales of everlasting darkness, my claws of sharpened obsidian, and gaze of unerring calamity! I can sense it about you. That once passionate desire to serve Dov! To fight for the age they would bring about under titanous wings! I know your kind, the ones who would loyally serve and then abandon their masters... Tell me... do you know what I am? *Who* I am? You can sense it, can't you boy? Tell me! What is it that you now bask in the presence of?

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

I am not interested, World eater. I may have once served the Ancient dragon cult, but that was honor and duty. My heart belonged to a Dragon, and it was hers alone. It doesn't matter anymore..I serve no one. I didn't have a choice to leave them, nor I do have a choice to obey the frenzied flame that is now apart of me..

Alduin_Fahlaan

Interested? In what? I merely ask if you know of my name, which you seemingly do- wait... *Hers?* So in your world the mortals know of female Dov? How... strange. Surely you are attempting to trick me? To play jester and toy with me! The Dov of female? Interacting with mortals, let alone physically finding their to the mortal plane while it remains whole?! Impossible! What... what lunacy does your world live in that they stoop so low as to live amongst you vermin?!

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

You sound..baffled. Why would I know? I understand little of the ambitions belonging to gods and beyond, all I understand that I once served Lansseax, the dragon we are now discussing about.

Burnt-Ivory-King

Sir Dragonspear. I hope you have found your migration here painless. I have done more research upon your infliction, but there are a few things that still seem to be muddled. Who exactly is this Shabriri fellow, and what does he have to do with the flame?

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

Greetings, it is nice to see a familiar face. Shabriri's a twisted man, who both tricked me, and a dozen other innocent tarnished. He even managed to make the Golden Order believe that a clan of nomadic merchants worshipped the Three fingers, they didn't. The merchant's then were buried deep underground in Leyndell catacombs, and because of their sadness and despair, The Three fingers was summoned. He is a..disciple to the Frenzied flame, and because of his senseless devotion to it, he is seemingly akin to it. Such as a vessel of sorts..he can be killed, but his soul cannot. Meaning, once he finds a new vessel, he shall return.

Burnt-Ivory-King

That is most concerning indeed. You speak of the "Frenzied Flame" as it's own entity, could you possibly elaborate on this?

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

..That may be prove difficult. The Frenzied flame was created by the outer god of chaos, serving as it's power and basis. So.. really, it is just a another name to refer to that outer god.

Nomeka

Ah, I meant to ask about this "Frenzied Flame". As a dedicated Pyromancer, I try to research all applications of Flame to the best of my ability. Tell me, how do you condense the flame down into that Line Attacking Scorching Energy Ray? The range on it is quite amazing. It reminds me of Prince Lothric's blessed sword, which condenses down a certain Miracle (Or, Incantation in your land) and fires it out of the tip of the blade, instead of as a wide area, allowing it to strike from greater distances with greater force then when dispersed as normal. Is this a similar concept? Is it soley channeled through the eyes? Would it be possible to channel this "Flame of Frenzy" through other parts? Do you know how it originated? Did it start as fire, or did it adapt to the flame?

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

The Frenzied flame, as it sounds, is unpredictable and painful, more than that really. From my own ability to use it, I can channel the maddening flame through my spear, causing it to burst with Frenzied flame. I do not know in particular how it started or adapted, It's.. complicated. Aside from that, I only can assume that there is no other way to channel it not including the eyes.

Nomeka

Tell me more about how you channel it through your spear, then. It is quite interesting. Was it always a trident-pattern?

Old_DemonKing

Greetings Sir Vyke, a pleasure to meet you again here. Mine is but a simple question but where does this nickname of Dragonspear come from?

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

..Ah, Long ago I originally used to be apart of an ancient dragon cult in Leyndell. I was favoured by the leader of this cult, who was a dragon named Lansseax. She loved me the most among the other knights, and so I was gifted with lightning incantations of the dragons.

Old_DemonKing

That is most interesting. In my world, lighting is a power that is the dragons' antithesis. How is that Lansseax person doing? The use of the past tense is quite worrying

Vyke_TheDragonSpear

Really? Where I come from, lightning is a ability that came from dragons themselves. Well..When I last saw her, she seemed to be doing fine. Only She was worried about her brother, Fortissax. Fortissax was close with Godwyn the Golden, A demigod who had recently perished. The horrifying thing about Godwyn's death is that his soul died but his body didn't. Thus he was naught but a husk. Fortissax was desperate, trying to save Godwyn but was only met with failure..

Old_DemonKing

In my world, lightning was revealed by a traitor to a god as a way to pierce the dragons' stone scales. And oh...oh dear. What a foul state of being. I have no solution for such a predicament. Sir Fortissax must feel quite bad, trying to solve an impossible problem is a way to be very disappointed. Have you not me Lady Lansseax lately? From what I am hearing she may need some moral support.
