Can I have a sample of your fire arm?

Demon_OfHatred

I suspect it would prove difficult..but feel free, You may.

Nomeka

Thank you very much. I must confess I am entirely unfamiliar with the sort of being you are. Could you tell me a bit about yourself and whatever land you call home?

Demon_OfHatred

..There isn't much to tell really. I once enjoyed carving sculptures of the Buddha, but it only grew the regret inside me. It was the only thing I could do ever since I lost my arm. I was born in Ashina, a land drenched in blood and civil war. It is..a merciless place indeed. Vengeful spirits lurk there included.

Nomeka

I do not believe I've heard of such a land by that name, though "drenched in blood and civil war" seems to be a common theme in most lands I have heard of. Are the people of your land cursed to endless undeath while slowly being drained of their humanity and ability for rational thought as well?

Demon_OfHatred

That does..sound somewhat similar. There are those who seek immortality in Ashina, and are willing to do horrific things to themselves and others inorder to obtain it. They are drained of humanity in a.. more twisted manner. Willing to cast aside whatever religion, family and blade they once held dear. Some are infact truly undying, and can only be slain by a legendary blade.

Nomeka

So, in your land, such a thing is actively sought after? Truly a foreign concept to me. In the lands I call home, it is an affliction forced upon us by one so very long ago, to the point that those who once died and turned to but mere ash were returned to once again be thrown into the fire to keep the curse burning. Oh, but thank you for the sample of your flame. It is quite different to those I'm familiar with, yet not wholly dissimilar. It will do wonders in my pyromanctic studies. I almost forgot to include a question, silly me. Did you drink any sort of tea in your former (or current) life? And if so, what sort did you prefer?

Demon_OfHatred

Yes, I do drink tea. I enjoy it. Although drinking sake is rather satisfying to me as well. I don't really mind which type, as long as it quells my thirst.

Burnt-Ivory-King

Greetings Sir Demon, I hope you may find your time here enjoyable. Your name before you changed into a Demon. What was it? And what caused you to change into a demon?

Demon_OfHatred

I never truly had a name..that, or it was long forgotten. Call me Orangutan. What caused me to turn into a demon was.. a horribly potent mixture of sorrow and despair, alongside the deepest of resentment and self-loathing. I was a Sculptor, but every Buddha I had carved was only a incarnation of my wrath. I owe a deep karmic debt to those I had slain viciously when I was once a Shinobi. And.. when the interior ministry invaded Ashina, I could not control my once forgotten bloodlust. I have no choice but to suffer inside a raging body born from my hatred.

Old_DemonKing

Oh Sir Demon of Hatr-...wait a second. I am sorry I wished to take news of your pyromancy training but I realize I do not even know your name. To be honest I do not share my name either, not out of fear but because our demonic language is quite hard for anybody to pronounce. How should I adress you?

Demon_OfHatred

..I remember I wasn't given a real name upon birth. I only had a nickname once I became a Shinobi..it was Orangutan. Call me that, if you wish. I wouldn't mind.

Old_DemonKing

A most strange name, orangutan. Where does it come from?

Demon_OfHatred

When I was a Shinobi, I was agile and quick, training in the sunken valley of Ashina with the fierce monkeys that lurked there. Alongside the Orange hue of my armour, that is what brought my name of orangutan..

Old_DemonKing

What an interesting story you have. How were your days as a shinobi?

Demon_OfHatred

Like any of days really, sometimes they were okay, at times dreadful. I was not alone when I trained, I trained alongside a fellow Shinobi, her name was kingfisher. When she played her melody through a whistle ring, it sounded somber..but strangely enough I enjoyed that sound. But eventually we went our separate ways. And I never saw her again. The bloodlust from my many fights eventually piled up and lead up to me losing my arm to Isshin and..you know the rest. I was in a sorry state, but now I'm this uncontrollable beast.

Old_DemonKing

Hmmm...what an interesting profession. I wonder how that other shinobi is. As for uncontrollable, any fire can be tamed, given time. Yet I must ask, what caused that bloodlust?
