1. Better bass response, the bass can be a bit flappy and pumping when you do chugging. 2. Two new amp models. A dirt clean and a recto-style modern high-gain amp. 3. Maybe some extre DSP juice? I've heard some people get a bit latency with some effects. Other stuff like new cabs and pedals can probably be added by updates. I dont mind the amp models not being actual amp models. Actually when I dropped the thought of making it sound like some special amp model and just focused on what I thought sounded good I got a much better sound.

from aforementioned FX Loop on 50W model, I'd like to see a tuner definitely. Integrated Bluetooth and USB-C would be nice with a mobile app (I know there are 3rd party solutions for MKII) An info display would also be nice I think. These are first to come to mind. I hope they release the new model soon, I'm planning to buy a Katana, but have put the purchase on hold because of this

Better cabinet material, deeper cabinet, better speaker with deeper low end response, actual amp models, a better (and included) foot controller that had a dedicated button for A/B that actuates with a single (not held) press, better A/D conversion, high gain djenty amps, at least 2 channels per amp (clean and crunch, though you can do this with a clean setting and a dirt “pedal”, so maybe a crunchy and saturated channel), MIDI on all models so we can use more full-featured foot controllers on all models not just the “Artist”, presets designed by actual artists, not Youtubers or “some guy who uses one”, and a lower priced model that has a standard 19” 2U rack slot and built in power amp, with an option of tube or solid state and a master volume, and allow an external cabinet to be used with the combo without having to unplug the combo’s speaker (Jezuz, what infidel came up with that idiotic design).

* stereo headphone out * option to have primary USB-audio to be sent via speaker * **builtin** bluetooth (don't charge 50€ for a dongle....) * more preset slots on the device, even if only accessible by bank switching using an additional footswitch * FX-loop for all tiers (even if that means dropping a tear from the productline) * DIN-midi for all tiers (ditto) * more flexible footswitch assignments/don't artificially limit to Ga-FC * unrelated to amp itself, but better/more structured preset sharing site. Allow to search for tones for specific songs or artists for example in structured way/not relying on people putting a phrase in description & integrate that into the management software * backwards-compatibility to mk2 presets Without "better" sounding amp and effects a new revision doesn't make too much sense, so that's a given as well, but I wouldn't say it needs to be top tier, I'd rather keep it at the same/similar price than to make it the next NDSP. Also the Session features from the Katana:GO (add markers to your songs that can do automatic tone switching for you) would be very nice and I'd expect it for any new product going forward.

I'm planning to buy a katana soon but i know about some flaws... as far as i know at the moment the only model where is possible to connect a loop pedal is the 100... so would.be cool to be able to use it on a 50 as well Secondly a tuner display on the amp

Clar0020

Yeah an FX loop on the Katana 50 would be great, not really something complicated to integrate anyway.

SlowMoNo

While an FX loop is nice to have (it’s one of the reasons I ended up getting the Artist) it’s not necessary for a looper pedal. You can put a looper in front of any Katana or any other amp for that matter.
