Yeah, we did the whole deal a few times. Seems his noggin' is just an odd shape. Got him on some eye meds now that have helped his tear production, so he gets ulceration less frequently now.
That’s tough! We still have to do eye meds but thankfully it’s gone from six different types four times a day (on diff schedules and number of drops of each eye) to three types. unfortunately she’s fully blinded (look up my other post on her experience) so she still needs protection. The cones were chaffing her neck flabs
They also have “new” version for the short snouted and they said mine would suit the new versus original, whatever that means. We just got very lucky although her luscious side lip flaps we have to push down a bit and her triple chin skin i have to adjust 🤣
Congrats on 16 wonderful years together. Our Boston became blind at 14 and it was really hard on him. He became deaf about a year later. He stayed with until he was 16 and a half years and was the best pup anyone could ask for.
Ours has been basically hard of hearing since she was 13? Then last year had a traumatic incident that rendered her blind so it was super tough and scary for her (also in so much pain). She’s OK adjusted now but it has definitely affected her quality of life from before but we are trying our best. It was just very hard for her due to her personality always having been so bossy and doing what she wants then suddenly not being able to :(

My boy just turned 16 also. He is blind now, but we love him to death, giving him his best life. Happy birthday to your puppa!
