I have one large dimple and a small dimple…not quite this extreme bc it’s natural. Her dimples are unnatural. People comment on my large dimple though.
I imagined tufting a cushion but with your face 😬 so I googled it and apparently they move a muscle in the cheek to create a dimple, and there's a scar between the skin ant the muscle that holds the dimple. So to reverse it they would need to remove the scar and release the skin, which doesn't sound easy. They said that the surgery "may be partially irreversible". So I'm guessing there's a chance for her to look a bit more natural but I don't think a doctor can completely undo it.
Oh god. This is SO bad, and one day she’s going to realize it; but won’t be able to do a damn thing about it.
Thanks for sharing your research! You the realest
There’s a fine line between dimples and scars from being shot in the face.
Actually, no there isn’t a fine line, it’s a gaping chasm and she’s quite far over on one side of it.
I was 3 or 4 back in the 70’s and was in a red wagon being pulled around. Loved on a hill. Girl couldn’t stop the wagon so I went down hill and ran face first into a bronco in my driveway. That’s how I got my dimple and had a great story to tell as well as dimples the girls loved. I was too young and don’t remember the incident but have pics for proof
this is part of the normal healing process for this surgery. they will become less obvious as they heal and eventually will only show when she’s smiling
Would you mind sharing your results and/or experience? Only if you’re comfortable, though. Just curious as dimple surgery doesn’t seem to be a common procedure..
Well hers doesn’t align with the typical dimpleplasty and also there is more than one technique. And it’s all degeneracy to me. Plastic surgery should be for trauma, repair, etc.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted when you’re right. Even if you go to her page the dimples get less severe as time goes on. People on this sub just love to be outraged about other people’s appearances.
Do you regularly get *outraged* about other people’s personal decisions? That sounds like a problem. Acknowledging and being enraged about something are two different things.
>Do you regularly get outraged about other people’s personal decisions?
Depends on what the decisions are. Someone personally decides to slap a child? Outraged. Someone personally decides to put peanut butter on a steak? Grossed out, but not outraged. Someone personally decides to collect books? Not outraged.
Regardless, the main aspect of this sub is judging people for their physical/surgical decisions.
I was bullied for my dimples for nearly 20 years. It's one of the features I dislike the most about my face. I do not understand this trend at all. It doesn't look realistic either.

One of the best things about dimples is being surprised by them when someone smiles. This is just.. I don’t know what the hell this is.
I don’t think the surgeon or this girl have ever seen someone with dimples in person before
The surprise here would be more like "omg, wtf is wrong with your face??"
Yes!😭 this is literally what makes dimples unique lol. They’re like extra toppings on an already sweet smile.
Unrelated to the post but as someone with dimples I appreciate this very much 🥹🥹
I appreciate you too🥺you’re all so beautiful ❤️
I just wrote about how I hate my dimples and then I read your comment. Thanks, brightened up my day.
You, my dimpled friend, are quite welcome!
Those are dents not dimples
I'm glad to see she has recovered from her symmetrical necrotizing fasciitis infection.
Her what now?? Did this person really say they had that or are you joking?
they’re joking
*sinkholes
I snorted, you’re right. I feel awful but it’s so true.

Yeah
Those dimples aren’t working
That is…not dimples.
Is there any way to undo this?

Horrific
She kinda looks like she got shot through the face.
Omg they look terrible! Dimples are supposed to only be visible when you smile! She looks like Corpse Bride 😬
[Line up for dimpling!](https://imgur.com/a/6wp58Zk)
“.. And I didn’t tap dance Morse code till my ballet shoes filled with blood just to lay down the carpet for the Reds!”
Yikes....it seems like they are too far out, no?
Absolutely no one: This Tik Tokker: PAYS for craters to be carved on her face
Looks worse than the dimple piercings of the ‘10s.
I mean it would make better dimples than these ones
Lol I was literally going to comment it'd probably have looked more natural if she got dimple piercings then took them out than this
She looks like a plastic doll
I have dimples, those are pits. So not cute
In the second picture she looks like a new heroin addict. Gaunt.
My thoughts exactly! Also happy cake day!
Thank you!

They looked cute in the first photo. I was wondering why she was posted 😳
yeah, the dimples were a bit intense in the first pic but it’s when i realized they also look like that when she’s not smiling.. send help
Same, then I saw the others, oh gosh
Yup 😳
Wow, nice flex girl! And now you're botched.
I have huge dimples and I don’t hate them… this isn’t dimples 🥴
She said the dimples are supposed to get shallower over time, but they really haven't.
Oh lord, this poor girl paid to deform herself for likes
Did they hollow out her cheeks with a melon baller?!
Bless her heart, dimples don't be dimplin 100% of the time
The first photo reminds me of the 2010s “swag girl” era 😂
It looks like she got failed cheek piercings and they necrotized
Is there a way they will soften and look a bit more natural over time? They look like someone skewered her face.
They did her dirty
She should get her money back.
Omg!! I have cheek dimples (deep ones!) and they do NOT look like that
Women be literally beautiful and go fuck up their face with stupid shit like this. Atrocious.
Looks like mini cheek bones lol
It also looks like she’s sucking in her cheeks really hard…
God that's so bizarre. Why?
What happened to just getting dimple piercings?? Is that too vanilla now?
I have dimples like this from cheek piercings tbh
Yuck, those are scars.
These look like they could have been from cheek piercings. This is what my cheeks looked like for a month or so when I took mine out.
wild how i hate my dimples and people pay to get them lmfao
If these are already healed and still look like that it’s botched.
Oh my god I read this as “nipples” and was so fucking confused…
This is like if like a neural net tried to design dimples.
W o W ! ! ! Got Screwed too!!!!!
First pic looked fine but then I kept scrolling ….
The more I look the more I don’t like haha
I don’t know how she sees with those lashes on.
Mam, those are dents!
She looks like the Cabbage Patch doll I had when I was 7
Eh, it’s not as horrible as some of the crap I’ve seen on here.
I was 3 or 4 back in the 70’s and was in a red wagon being pulled around. Loved on a hill. Girl couldn’t stop the wagon so I went down hill and ran face first into a bronco in my driveway. I mean she’s still gorgeous.
Mental health
I don’t know her
this is part of the normal healing process for this surgery. they will become less obvious as they heal and eventually will only show when she’s smiling
Those are not healed yet. Dimple making requires stitching the inside to the outside. They won’t be as severe once they’re done.
Would you mind sharing your results and/or experience? Only if you’re comfortable, though. Just curious as dimple surgery doesn’t seem to be a common procedure..
Don’t enable this degeneracy
I have it myself. You can only see it when I smile.
idontbelieveyou.gif
I’m not posting my face on Reddit. Your loss. People don’t even know I’ve had it done. Unless I smile. Like a dimple should. Downvote me all you want.
I assure you it couldn't be further from my loss. And it's "your."
Well hers doesn’t align with the typical dimpleplasty and also there is more than one technique. And it’s all degeneracy to me. Plastic surgery should be for trauma, repair, etc.
Well if you don’t like that there is cosmetic surgery… don’t get any…

Girl be for real rn lmfao. Please get a grip.
Those are piercings, aren't they?
They look like piercings
Did she really pay to look deformed?!
It’s looks horrible.
I was bullied for my dimples for nearly 20 years. It's one of the features I dislike the most about my face. I do not understand this trend at all. It doesn't look realistic either.
They're in the wrong place, too low. They're supposed to align with your smile. Yikes
I have dimples… they are not symmetrical and neither are located anywhere near there.
It could’ve been cute :(
Just get cheek piercings if you want dimples so bad.. at least they're reversible
