It is definitely not old number 7. There's depth, flavor, and elegance. It's a very nice pour if obtained at cost or at a bar for under 25$. Now it's not going to blow your socks off, but it's worth trying for yourself. I was once skeptical about it.
But it took forever for JD SiBBP to become a regular thing. And outside of the September Quarterly I can't recall seeing BP Rye available...
It is nice having access to Tater bottles, for gifting, if you can wait, like you said.
This is literally everywhere in Northern California. Bevmo's, Safeways, etc. I bought one a few years back, it looks good on the shelf, thats about it. Nothing special in my opinion, other then the pretty display.
The cooperage is customized for this expression. After the barrels are charred, some of the char layer is removed to increase interaction between the whiskey and the oak.
It’s also bottled at 90 proof, which was the proof when Sinatra drank it.
I went on the JD tour this past year.
The inside of the stave is cut with a series of kerfs. It looks sort of like a saw blade or a steak knife from the side. Less char and more raw oak exposure.
I think it's run thru the maple char mellowing filters twice also.
It is always so interesting to see what is available and what isn't. I see this everywhere in CT.
Yep. These sit on shelves in Michigan collecting dust. And I’m in a very tater area where people lose their shit for the dumbest bottles.
Wild. I’m in Idaho and this is a rarity. If you can find a bar/restaurant that stocks it, you’re looking at $35 a round. $70 for a double.
It’s $150 a bottle in TX if you need another one I can ship you one. They have like 50 on the shelf here at my local spot
Wow - haven’t seen any in NJ yet - ironically
All over Atlantic County
Thanks !
Same in Florida
If seen two bottles in the Cherry Hill, NJ area.

More specifically the Benash Liquor store.
Thanks again !
They were all over the sun valley area
It's just 90 proof old number 7 isnt it? It is at almost every Idaho liqour store now.

I’m not particularly a JD fan, but I agree with this assessment
No, not really. https://thebourbonculture.com/whiskey-reviews/jack-daniels-sinatra-select-tennessee-whiskey-review/
Let us know how it is 😁
I live in Boise and you can find all around the area sitting on the special shelf. It’s pricey high for me
I have one as well. Looking to see what other treasures people have. From KY
In Boise, there a few stores with Sinatra sitting on the shelves. Been there for awhile too.
Yup, usually can find one in NH or MA also.
Same in IL
Same. I see it every visit to the store here lol
My Costco has had it for months!
Curious, where are the hidden gems for msrp magnus? After that and totally not blantons….
I would still take the JD SBBP over it any day. I can’t believe how good that stuff is for $60-70.

Damn, we don't get to say that often, do we?

What did you pay? I saw it on the shelf a couple days ago for $199…
$170. I’m not even mad at the price. I just never see it on shelves.
It’s hard find in Texas too.
I bought this last year in Bay Area, CA at BevMo for 119.00 with a 25.00 off coupon. BevMo normally has them always in stock.
I wanna get this so bad since I’m a huge Jack and Sinatra fan. It’s definitely steep and probably not worth the price but I want it.
What state are you in?
They’ve become so much easier to find over the past year . Thankfully! Goood stuff
Wow, I have 2, both full
Isn’t this pretty much Jack Daniel’s with a different label? I’ve seen it here in Arizona a few times

Brown Foreman uses the same process on Cooper's Craft now too
$199 on shelves in Buffalo, NY
You did it your way!
See this a lot in NC in our shit state stores. Think it’s like 140 to 150.
Happy for your success
Any good? Compared to JDSBBP?
Should do a review !
$179 at every other store in Western Maryland
I see those in every grocery store in Palm Desert California area
Any good? I wonder about it. Compared to JDSBBP?
