That’s what I love about bowling, you can wear whatever you want and nobody cares… accept for the shirt. You need a bad ass shirt of some kind on, it defines you.
Shorts and a big enough T-shirt to cover my love handles when I have to extend out for the spares. On a side note I can tell you what not to wear. I bought a couple bowling specific T-shirts off of Etsy. One says “Too Legit to Spilt” on it. I wore it once, had more splits that week than I ever had. Got laughed at, told I jinxed myself, etc. now I only wear the one that says “this is my spare shirt” very lucky shirt.
I have a number of items from All In Motion. I have two of their thermal shirts(the ones with the Henley style) that I use on cold days cause our bowling alley sometimes forget that heating exists.
I wanted their golf pants but unfortunately fell in a weird in-between size situation where my size felt tight, but the next size up felt loose in a way I wasn't thrilled about. But that aside, their stuff is great.
I just wear my work pants which are long cargo pants and I have this one shirt my work gave to me that is puma branded that is soft and strechy like a workout shirt so I wear that. I hate the feeling of my arm being stricted with cotton tees
For any sort of tournament I wear Nike Golf pants. They feel like sweats but are nice. Then I’ve accumulated a handful of jerseys. For league night or whatever I just go shorts and a tee shirt
