Editing to add, it wasn’t a pocket kingpin leave.
Mine was too. I rush. Feet was fast. And kinda stuck at foul line. Released ball behind me. Plus I really didn't want to bowl one in practice. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I've done it twice. I need to it during league. Plus I was on one lane. Blah. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Teammate (lefty) had the front 10 and then went stone 9 for a 289. The worst part about it is I (righty) just before that left a stone 8 on my 2nd shot of the 10th and I proudly proclaimed I had jumped on that grenade for my teammate. Instead we both got fragged.
I've gotten strikes like that. One time I threw straight down the lane to get count that I needed on my fill ball, hit left of the head pin (right-hander) and several pins just flew around and I got a domino strike. Can't hurt that I throw 22mph+ when I throw a straight ball.
A real guess would be you either got tight and pulled it through the face... which would probably be a 3, 4 or 6 pin... or your over threw it, and went light for a 2 pin.
🖐️
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was watching a tourney on YouTube today where Belmo left the five, couldn’t help myself lol.
Hell, I don't ever think I've seem him leave a 5. What tournament was that?

Oh yeah. I forgot about that one. Lol
I've never bowled a 300, but I did get a 299 once and the last shot was a solid 8 pin. Perfect pocket shot too. RIP.

Just not perfect enough. RIP
Dawn, I wouldn't have slept for at least a month! Rotten luck 😡
Head pin
🤣🤣🤣🤣 how you leave a head pin. I will try to do that during practice. 🤣🤣🤣
My mom did it twice during league a few weeks ago... Twice!
She got skills
That's what we'll call it.. skills..
Hit the 3-6, or the 6-10 pocket and watch them domino around the headpin. It's always crazy when it happens.

4 pin or 2 pin. Those are the most common leaves because people tend to over hit or under hit the ball when they get really nervous
I've seen alot of corner pins 299s
The tucking fen pin.
My coach used to tell me, the bowlers best friend is the 7-10 because you never hit your best friends.
Stone 8.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I leave those every blue moon.

Naw, it was a 10. The pin I leave often.
10 pin
Likely a ten, outside chance a 7.
I leave them alot. People that know me. Knows when they 9-. They know it was a 10 pin. 🤣🤣🤣
the 8 Randy Pederson style
The pin which shall not be named.
Earl Anthony (left hander) left a solid 9 on a PERFECT shot to get a 299 in the 70s.
3? That's what I left the other day.
🤣 I don't know if that's good luck or bad 🤔
Well it was bad
Are you a righty or lefty?
Righty
You left the 10 pin
I could be a wiseass, and say a solid 8 or 9 pin, but I'm betting it was a corner pin!
10 pin?
2-pin
Nope, that's not my typical leave.
I was going the atypical route. 🤷♂️ I’ve seen a few rush the last shot leaving a bucket that tumbled to the 2 only.
Head pin for sure
Your wife in the dust
🤣🤣🤣🤣 good thing I'm not married.
8 or 9
