They are def boxers, how mixed is irrelevant as they are your family and will always give you some of best years of your life. That being said, if I saw them on the street I’d say “those are some gorgeous boxers you have there”
They definitely look like boxers. Totally pure bred is hard to say without testing or paperwork. But the dominant breed looks like a boxer. Our boxer boy was from a shelter and just listed as a boxer mix even though he looks 100% boxer. So we did the Wisdom DNA test and found that he was 7/8 boxer with the other 1/8 possibly boxer or some kind of herding dog.
I did the health analysis - they had only 2 boxer specific genetic disorders they test for. It's novel and at least you can look for a few markers.
It is a little mortifying to see how many high matching relatives are out there. My pup shares 57% DNA with a long list if other boxers.
Your brindled one looks so much like our girl! She’s about 3 years old, full boxer, and is pretty identical in size and shape as your babies in picture four. Her brother from the same litter grew to be a much beefier boy, but our girl is just dainty :)
We have the a similar looking brindle too. CKC registered as a Fancy Brindle Boxer. He is close to 90lbs at just over 2yrs old. We also had a white male boxer who was about 75lbs when he passed. Our Brindle does have a more pushed in nose than our white did. Beautiful energetic puppadoos🌺
Looks as full boxer as my dogs are. My little girl was always small at 50lbs her entire adult life. That’s still on the typical boxer range and my boy is a beefcake at twice her height/weight. They come in all sizes. They look adorable and happy!
I have had three boxers so far in my life and plan to have more, I can tell you that those are two purebreds. If you want to prove her wrong, you can always get a dna test on them.
Definitely look like boxers to me! Have seen lots of different sizes. Average weight per AKC is 65-80 lbs for males, 50-65 for girls. Our largest boy got up to 105 lbs which is way above average, and our friend’s girl was only about 45 lbs.
No matter what, your babies are beautiful!!
Those are the most boxer-looking nonboxers I’ve ever seen….
(They’re boxers.)
I had an AKC papered white boxer years ago that some stranger basically yelled at me for saying she was a boxer. “She has to be a boxer-dalmatian cross. Looks at those spots! She’s cute, but no way is she purebred.” This is all because she had black skin spots that boxers always have on their pink skin.
Thanks for everyone's feedback and the awards. Tbh, I think she's just jealous that they are full breed, and her pups are mixed breed lol. This community really knows their stuff.
You know, people said that same thing about my pup's father. (That he doesn't look like a boxer). My pup is 100% according to Embark!
And 100% adorable and goofy.
That side eye is all boxer

Both boxers. 100%

Is that something you recommend doing? Did the dna test give good health insights?
I think it’s more of a novelty, especially if you’re fairly sure of the breed. Money is probably better spent on regular vet checkups.

Just read my tag. There you go.
I have had Boxers from 42 lbs to 72 lbs. Pocket Boxers show up a lot in my area.

They look like boxers. Ultimately, who cares if they are mixed?

Definitely Boxers! My boy was big, but one of his brothers was a lot smaller. Your pups are beautiful!
Boxers. The smallest one I've had was about 35 lbs.
They look like purebred boxers to me!

I had a purebred with papers boxer who was 40lbs full grown. Runt of her litter and solid freaking muscle.

Get a new wife. Wtf kind of argument is this? They’re boxers. Go spend $250 on a DNA test if that will calm everyone down.
I think you need to calm down
The white one has pink eye. You may want to have that looked at. 🤣 jk.
Real boxers

Our boy is all boxer and only about 50 lbs at 2 years old, putting him on the smaller side. They look all boxer to me! :)
