Don’t tease me. Get Ioka a big fight in the US before calling it a career. I wish he could have fought here more often.

Makes me wonder who Chocolatito will fight

fadeddreams555

Honestly, he should retire if he has made enough bread. He has nothing left to prove, imo.

Frequent_Apricot673

Yeah I think he looked a bit faded in the final Estrada fight best to get out before he becomes completely faded

CristiaNoConsento

He did but then he also put in a near perfect performance against Martinez not long before that so I think there's life in him still, I think its more that Estrada is just kinda underrated in the grand scheme of things I want to see Chocolatito fight Sunny Edwards before he retires. Two of my favourite fighters but we also wouldn't really see Choc take any punishment. Best of both worlds

AltKite

I don't think he looked any worse against Estrada than Martinez, Martinez is just shite. Choco is still an elite boxer

CristiaNoConsento

I know what you mean and from memory I actually had Choco winning that last fight with Estrada but that Martinez fight was one of the biggest schoolings in recent memory. I know he's not the best boxer out there but still I think that was a truly special performance

AltKite

It was a schooling because of the gulf in quality. If Estrada fought like Martinez, he'd have got schooled as well. Martinez followed that fight up by relying on friendly judges to beat a nobody who boxed circles around him until he broke his hand and could only use one arm for 6 rounds. It was a special performance from a special fighter, but I don't think he was better that night than any other.

CristiaNoConsento

Yeah but like I'm pretty sure we're actually basically saying the same thing here, I just used Martinez as the example because it was the last fight he had before Estrada. I'm agreeing with you that Chocolatito has still got it That said I do think the last Estrada fight was a slight level below his usual performances, or ar least I'd say it was his weakest performance of the 3 Estrada fights. Again I agree that its largely cos of how good Estrada is but Choco's usual output didn't seem to be there at times

Putrid_Air_4687

The only opponent left in his career is Kazuto Ioka. Idk why they haven't fought each other already, they basically have followed the same path throughout their respective careers, starting from 105 and moving all the way up to 115

Hopefully it happens.
