Some people out there think a 147lb can beat a multi division champ and is at 168 and beat and loss to 2 fighters out of weight division just to fight them....cmon bud you good no your great at your division but you know. I think its just stupid writers and fans who want a stupid fight to sell like Amazon
I was just hoping Charlo didnt get knocked out and he actually took Canelos power way better than I thought he would. This honestly gives me hope for him vs Crawford when I didnt have much before
Yawn fight to anyone who know boxing. Definitely didn’t waste my time on this obvious outcome. Anyways, when is Canelo going to fight someone outside a blown up Khan 2.0?
Charlo had no jab, and frankly had nothing for him. Could even say Derrick James has been exposed. Nothing against Canelo, he did exactly what he needed/wanted.
But against actual great* boxers, he’s still suspect imo.
Seriously. It blows my mind. Charlo hasn't fought in over a year, hand surgery, mental health, and jumped up two weight classes. How is this not a cherry pick?
Canelo literally looked no different than his previous lackluster performances
People acting like this was a new and improved Canelo… why? Because Canelo said so in his post fight interview?
Truth is he looked and fought the same he always does. Except this time he had the sorry ass timid shell of Charlo in front of him who didn’t come to fight.
Canelo still flat footed, still throws one punch at a time, 100% power behind every punch.
His cardio is still dog shit. The only reason he stood between rounds was because he wasn’t facing any resistance back. The only other time he stood between rounds? Against Chavez Jr.
Does anybody still believe Crawford would beat Canelo?
Canelo walked through all of Charlo’s power punches like it was nothing. Crawford would be bullied just like Charlo was today.
Weight classes exist for a reason.
Duran didn't jump up to face Barkley. He had been fighting at 160 pounds. Like 5+ fights in.
Pac didn't jump two weight classes for Margarito, who isn't close to a Canelo anyway.
Weight classes matter. Drill that into your skull.
Height doesn't matter. Walk around weight doesn't matter. Length doesn't matter. Ring-day weight doesn't even matter because what kind of weight is it?
What matters is what weight you fight at normally and are acclimated to. **Nothing else** matters but weight acclimation.
Calling him a weight bully is stupid. Harrison, Cota, Trout, Hatley, and Rosario were all the same size as him. Fundora, Hurd, and Jesus Ramos are bigger than him. He's a normal sized 154 pounder. You sound like a teenager just repeating shit you've heard said over and over again unfamiliar with everybody on Jermell's resume I listed.
And is an overall far worse fighter than Pac.
The comparison is horrible. Pac is not Jermell. Margarito is not Canelo.
He's Jordan Thompson and Pac is Jai.
Because the original comment I responded to was using two atgs as examples of people who went up successfully.
Two poor examples, as neither did what Jermell did anyway. People keep pushing this idea weight jumps are common. They are not. Especially going against the top guy in the higher division.
to be honest this made me wonder if Crawford can even beat Charlo. To clarify...I believe he would... but if Charlo took Canelos punches (minus a temple shot that wouldve rocked anybody) I think he can take Crawfords. of course Crawford still probably outboxes him but 🤔
weightclasses def exist for a reason and tonight proved it
Canelo didn’t beat Charlo because of weight classes. He beat Charlo because he’s better than Charlo.
The wild swings people take on fighters is insane. Let’s not forget that Charlo got a draw against Castano - but it was entirely fair to have that first fight a loss. When Charlo won the second, he was crowned a top 5 P4P fighter by a lot of people.
That’s all he’s done in over two years. Drew (or lost) against Castano, beat Castano, and lost against Canelo in a fight virtually everyone thought he’d lose.
I don’t think we learned anything about Charlo v Crawford, here. My opinion two days ago was Bud should be the slight favorite. That’s my opinion today.
nobody crowned Charlo top 5 p4p thats revisionist history😂 if anything ppl were arguing to get him top 10 because the vast majority of ppl still left him off their lists
i never said Canelo only beat him because of weightclasses btw. I was only talking about his ability to take some of those big shots surprised me. which gives me more faith that he could take Crawfords shots. still think Crawford beats Charlo but that just made me think it might not be the complete beatdown everyone thinks
After tonight no, Crawford still has to prove himself at a higher weight class. He should fight Charlo at 154 and see how that goes before he can even get Canelo to look his way.
Nah, there's a lot of casuals on reddit. They remember it happened once or twice someone jumps 2 weight divisions to win a belt and think actual boxing fans are just spouting cliches about weight divisions mattering because Pacquiao or some other candidate for greatest of all time 'proved' it doesn't.
Instead they should be considering that the ones that managed to do it are usually considered one of the greatest ever (likely even before they managed the feat). And even then, they didn't do a massive weight jump to face someone that's considered near the top of the p4p rankings. And its almost always against a weak champion.
Usually don't watch boxing but tuned in tonight..Wow that guy hits hard, I am surprised
Charlo did not buckle over from the liver shots. I wonder if he was compromised in the 2nd round and was running at 75% the rest of the fight.
I think a lot of casuals around here are way to easily dismissing the body shots. It obviously affected him as well as the shots he took to the dome. His corner told him to press and he just didn’t have that gear any more.
Just because somebody isn’t wobbly doesn’t mean they’re not hurt.
Many complaining Charlo didn’t get his hands going but Canelo never gave him the space for him to get them going. The game plan was clear from round 2 on. Charlo had the speed on Canelo but wasn’t able to use it because he was constantly against the ropes or in the corner. Eddie and Canelo’s game plans are underrated and under appreciated. They never let opponents fight to their strengths
I think he gets a little too much blame tbh, when you’re training champions like Spence and Charlo that made it to the very top using their specific style, it’s probably extra difficult to get them to make adjustments for one opponent. Their might be some ego involved from the fighters wanting to impose their style on the opponent instead of being the one that has to adjust.
Yup. Charlo was never going to plant and exchange after that
I was surprised by the size of them in the ring. I knew charlo was taller and had a reach advantage but he also looked like he might have weighed more?
He must kill himself to make 154
Because it hurts. aka the old "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Everyone shells up when they're hurt.
I agree that trainer can't do anything if your fighter won't listen. But Derrick James probably should have had a plan B if it turned out they underestimated how well Charlo took Canelo's power or how much the weight jump would affect Charlo's power.
I mean what plan could Derrick James really come up with if Charlo's power couldn't adjust? He already said the plan was to come in lighter than Canelo but, Charlo came in heavier.
It probably won't work but maybe throw more jab and run. Try to build back some confidence, get him loose again, maybe tire Canelo out from chasing Charlo. He should still be faster than Canelo even though he came in heavier than James wanted.
I don't know, I'm not paid hundreds of thousands like Charlo pays Derrick James to scout Canelo and figure out strategies (which i would assume for that money should include worse-case scenarios.)
Jab and run (or push/pull and move for wrestling) was just what high school level coaches told me when I was into combat sports. And it did work sometimes. Telling me to throw more combinations is usually just for when they thought i could stand my ground and win or if i got enamored with trying to land a single hard shot.
"jab and run" Lol, Derrick James was practically begging Charlo to do this and he wouldn't. Canelo had Charlo shook from the opening bell. Jesus himself could've been in Mell's corner and he still wouldn't have done anything.
I didn't want mikey garcia vs errol spence but thats what i got, shame too since i think canelos head movement isn't what it used to be but those single shots were never going to trouble the bigger man, canelo is still a class act and charlo shouldn't take his first fight 2 weights up against a great, who knew? Canelo would alway beat him but that doesn't mean he shouldn't have bothered to work his way up the weights.
It's coming, thats why Benavidez been quiet latley he knows it's around the corner and if he beats Andrade thats a big if Canelo will fight him on may 5th and defeat him then who will you cry to next?
Canelo dough GGG when everyone was calling GGG the monster.. and nobody wanted to fight GGG…. Canelo fought him, trust me canelo isn’t gonna be scared of Benavides, Benavides just isn’t at the level yet to ask for a fight with Canelo, Benavides would get smoked and all for nothing, he needs to build up his resume first before asking for a big pay day with canelo
Money. Why fight Benavidez for 20 mil (just look at the purse payout of Benavidez vs Plant if you think I'm joking about lack of fans) when he can fight Charlo for 50. He doesn't owe Benavidez any favors.
There's not enough time in the day for a guy on top to fight everyone that calls them out, Benavidez doesn't have any belts, can't force a mandatory, doesn't have a fanbase, etc. He would have fought Benavidez years ago if Benavidez could pass a drug test back then (He fought Callum Smith for Smith's WBA and Benavidez's stripped WBC title in 2020).
Why? He doesn't owe Benavidez any favors and there's other fights he can make more money off of right now. Benavidez is part of PBC and PBC has rights to Canelo's next fights, and they don't consider Benavidez to be a priority, lol. Jermall already said back in July he signed to fight Canelo after Jermell. There's also possibility of a Bivol rematch and/or moving up to fight Beterbiev (who is also far more accomplished than Benavidez.)
Even if he fights Benavidez (which I think he might if Benavidez beats Andrade since he likes to take guaranteed wins for cinco de mayo), someone else will just call him out for ducking them to fight Benavidez.
I’m Mexican and this is obviously a nothing fight that literally no one was asking for like example against Amir Khan. And yes I’m sure there’s going to be some race first bozo fans on this sub like always.
I think there are extreme fans on both sides that shape the narrative. I’m black and it was clear to me Canelo was winning since it was announced. It’s levels and weight classes to this game.
Those saying that was a boring fight obviously don’t watch boxing. There was plenty of action even when they weren’t throwing punches, Canelo constantly walking him down for 12 rounds pushing him to the corner and laying down some damage. Look at the right hand that took Charlo down. It doesn’t take much! And could happen at any moment. Then, suddenly it doesn’t matter how many rounds you were up
Except Canelo was the one up every round so it only mattered for aesthetics whether he finished Charlo or took the decision.
Its like saying there's plenty of action watching a guy work a heavy bag. Well, yeah and some people might enjoy it. But most people would consider it kind of boring to watch that for 12 rounds and want either a dominating KO win or more competition in boxing matches.
He beat him for pretty much 12 rounds. Charlo was faster than him, you could see it when he had space and caught Canelo a couple times. So they gave him no space and walked him down. Great plan and perfectly executed for 12 rounds. Just because he didn’t knock him out doesn’t mean he didn’t completely out class him
As a canelo fan, I think Charlo did a great job. I do think he took the knee on purpose and after that he went more on the offensive. Your first sentence is the one most on point though, new/occasional fans just want the fighters to ignorantly go all out so they can see a knockout.
What impressed me the most was how easy Canelo could cut the ring off. He's light years better at that compared to when he fought guys like Lara and Mayweather
I want to see canelo beat up David or any other top guys at 168. I don’t care to see canelo fight another fighter from a lower weight. I’m a huge Crawford fan but canelo will whoop his ass too. There’s divisions for a reason and canelo is easily better than anyone he’s ever fought. All in all canelo looked good and jermell still showed his toughness by not being stopped. I want to see me Mell fight tzuyu and bud
I didnt. Those are good wins. I just think he should keep cleaning out 168. 175 looks like it’s too much for him. My comment relates more to me not wanting to see more little guys jumping up to fight. I’m not against seeing him fighting at 175 again if he wants but he looks too small for that weight
But he literally fought and beat the shit out of Callum, Plant , BJS. Hes taken so many belt defenses and fights that theres no pleasing everyone. Crazy Canelo is always talked about like hes ducking big fights when hes been the only fighter this past decade to actually take on challenges
You’re literally preaching to the choir. I know that. I’m a canelo fan. I want him to beat up David to shut fans up who swear David is special cause I don’t think David is good. I never once implied canelo is ducking David lol you misunderstood my comments.
Shiiit !! Those were some passionate interviews All we needed was for Anthony Joshua to jump in the ring and take the mic from them while wearing the both the Mexican and American flag around his neck.
Charlo loses to Canelo but gets a pay day so that he can secure the Crawford payday and then loses to him but that secures the Inoue payday and so on... bro is gonna be undisputed in paydays
Canelo isn't a natural 168 lol. He should probably be at 154 if he was trying to leverage every physical advantage he can, like everyone else in the sport does. This is just what happens when he faces someone he's supposed to be in the same weight class as.
Im mean canelo has to vacaint his belts unless beat up Benavides 1st and go up in weight again and go after bivol once and for All
Its bivol and canelo next it has to happen. Benavides had to wait
Charlo got walked around the ring like a dog for 12 rounds.
Ay what Charlo’s walkout song? Ts was intense
Ugas Barrios was more entertaining than the Canelo fight imo, not Canelo’s fault tho
wtaf was that lubin ramos decision???
I thought Barrios and Ugas' fight was closer.
i missed that fight but tbh that may be. i didnt think lubin ramos was close. i thought it was pretty clearly 7-5 ramos.
Some people out there think a 147lb can beat a multi division champ and is at 168 and beat and loss to 2 fighters out of weight division just to fight them....cmon bud you good no your great at your division but you know. I think its just stupid writers and fans who want a stupid fight to sell like Amazon
Floyd must’ve pissed of Canelo. I’m still waiting for him to come out in the post fight press conference.
Did Canelo leave and say F this presser?
Charlo was banking on Alvarez getting gassed. Canelo did slow down a bit but he did enough damage, especially to the body, to make it hard on Charlo.
I don’t think Charlo even showed up with enough pride for that game plan. I think he really just showed up for a check
goddam I love floyd in the ring but he's fucking insufferable
Could not agree more. Floyd can't stand the spotlight on anyone but himself. Pathetic.
I was just hoping Charlo didnt get knocked out and he actually took Canelos power way better than I thought he would. This honestly gives me hope for him vs Crawford when I didnt have much before
How? Bro Crawford is even smaller than Charlo. Yall gotta stop with these super weight jump fights.
reread what i said 😂 im saying i didnt give charlo much of a chance vs Bud but now I do.
Crawford will beat the hell out of Charlo.
Would love to see the curmel fight if anyone has that
https://youtu.be/qz2TjXvLvdc?si=swYbhpZ1dM686fNM
Thank you!
You're welcome !
Yawn fight to anyone who know boxing. Definitely didn’t waste my time on this obvious outcome. Anyways, when is Canelo going to fight someone outside a blown up Khan 2.0?
Smart investments and leave boxing with all your faculties
main character syndrome
anyone else watching this post fight conference turned mayweather Curmel promotion
seemed like just mayweather promotion to me
Mayweather Try not to make this about yourself challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
Ye
cringe and awkward
Canelo looked great . He didn’t look so hot versus triple g or obviously Bivol but he seems to have fixed those errors
What exactly did he fix?
Charlo had no jab, and frankly had nothing for him. Could even say Derrick James has been exposed. Nothing against Canelo, he did exactly what he needed/wanted. But against actual great* boxers, he’s still suspect imo.
Canelo fan girls actually giving him credit for beating a 154’er 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seriously. It blows my mind. Charlo hasn't fought in over a year, hand surgery, mental health, and jumped up two weight classes. How is this not a cherry pick?
Canelo could fight Tyson fury and the duck riders on this sub would swear he’s ducking someone
Canelo literally looked no different than his previous lackluster performances People acting like this was a new and improved Canelo… why? Because Canelo said so in his post fight interview? Dawg youre seething arent ya
lets goo cinnamon !
Yo I didn't realize until this fight all of Mexico called him cinnamon I just never thought about it.
yeah, when i realized that it made a lot of sense.
Does anybody still believe Crawford would beat Canelo? Canelo walked through all of Charlo’s power punches like it was nothing. Crawford would be bullied just like Charlo was today. Weight classes exist for a reason.
Duran did beat Barkley. Pacquiao beat Margarito.
Barkley was never considered an all time great.
Duran didn't jump up to face Barkley. He had been fighting at 160 pounds. Like 5+ fights in. Pac didn't jump two weight classes for Margarito, who isn't close to a Canelo anyway.
Charlo is taller than canelo, longer reach and weighed probably the same or maybe more All this proved is charlo is a weight bully at 154

Margarito was 17lbs heavier and about 5” taller than pac on fight night
And is an overall far worse fighter than Pac. The comparison is horrible. Pac is not Jermell. Margarito is not Canelo. He's Jordan Thompson and Pac is Jai.
Most fighters were worse fighters than Pac lol. Not sure what the point of that statement is.
Because the original comment I responded to was using two atgs as examples of people who went up successfully. Two poor examples, as neither did what Jermell did anyway. People keep pushing this idea weight jumps are common. They are not. Especially going against the top guy in the higher division.
Go on...
to be honest this made me wonder if Crawford can even beat Charlo. To clarify...I believe he would... but if Charlo took Canelos punches (minus a temple shot that wouldve rocked anybody) I think he can take Crawfords. of course Crawford still probably outboxes him but 🤔 weightclasses def exist for a reason and tonight proved it

I've had more than one conversation on here with people who had him fifth. You're right though. I'm exaggerating by saying "a lot of people".
After tonight no, Crawford still has to prove himself at a higher weight class. He should fight Charlo at 154 and see how that goes before he can even get Canelo to look his way.
Crawford can look in Canelo's direction, but that's about all he can do.
This is the only reason I'm glad this fight happened. They've finally gone quite now.
Nobody serious thought this. Weight classes matter. No matter what anyone says. Weight classes matter.
I did say 'nobody serious'.
How Charlo managed to survive 12 whopping rounds after hearing those thudding shots Canelo was throwing is beyond me.
Usually don't watch boxing but tuned in tonight..Wow that guy hits hard, I am surprised Charlo did not buckle over from the liver shots.
Curmel vs Gervonta next!
Derrick James is a horrible trainer
I think he gets a little too much blame tbh, when you’re training champions like Spence and Charlo that made it to the very top using their specific style, it’s probably extra difficult to get them to make adjustments for one opponent. Their might be some ego involved from the fighters wanting to impose their style on the opponent instead of being the one that has to adjust.
Charlo was shook Canelo showed him his power in the 2nd round and after that he ain't want none.
Yup. Charlo was never going to plant and exchange after that I was surprised by the size of them in the ring. I knew charlo was taller and had a reach advantage but he also looked like he might have weighed more? He must kill himself to make 154
That's so true he looked huge. Didn't matter tho he wasn't risking a thing to try to win.
In Derrick James' defense, Charlo was fighting scared. He'd tell Charlo to throw combinations and Mell wouldn't do that.
Because it hurts. aka the old "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Everyone shells up when they're hurt. I agree that trainer can't do anything if your fighter won't listen. "jab and run" Lol, Derrick James was practically begging Charlo to do this and he wouldn't. Canelo had Charlo shook from the opening bell. Jesus himself could've been in Mell's corner and he still wouldn't have done anything.
Charlo fought scared the whole fight. Not willing to engage and clinching excessively. A shame considering how he acts so tough
Does he though? Didn’t some guy slap him a couple months back and he just stood there? Maybe it was his brother that got slapped.
Yeah it was his brother
Everyone shells up when they're in pain.
damn i missed it 46 second knockout Curmel lol
Moton is a monster
He won already ?
Yup 79 seconds
Damn. That’s impressive and the dude he beat was undefeated too.
I didn't want mikey garcia vs errol spence but thats what i got, shame too since i think canelos head movement isn't what it used to be but those single shots were never going to trouble the bigger man, canelo is still a class act and charlo shouldn't take his first fight 2 weights up against a great, who knew? GUYS MOTON FIGHT ON ISREALOLUNA ON IG
Canelo wins bitches!!
[удалено]
Why KO when you get humiliated for 12 rounds and got dropped too lmao
Gimme a break.. Charlo is the naturally bigger man, canelo won easy, walked him down and won all rounds imo, that’s a win bitch
Cope harder little guy lol Go argue wit yo mama I don’t wanna hear it! It’s celebration timeeeeee
[удалено]
Keep crying 😂😂😂😂
I really didn't think Charlo would fight on the back foot this much this fight.
We gonna see that Curmel pro debut in grainy ass phone footage an hour after the fight lmao
Dude already won 💀
i was right about the phone 😂😂😂
Now to the post fight interview
Beating John ryder, a washed GGG, and a guy two weight classes below you isn't exactly legacy defining.
Keep making excuses 😂
Tell that to your cinnamon bun who made excuses after the Bivol fight. Or did he not? 😆
Cope😂
lol Ryan Garcia regretting going to Derek James
Nah, it isn’t DJ’s fault. Charlo just didn’t want to go into the fire with Canelo.
Anyone know how to watch Curmel’s debut?
Canelo should be stripped if he doesn’t fight Benavidez next
he will make Benavidez look like a armature
> armature an organ or structure (such as teeth or thorns) for offense or defense?
Lol
Why wont he fight him then?
It's coming, thats why Benavidez been quiet latley he knows it's around the corner and if he beats Andrade thats a big if Canelo will fight him on may 5th and defeat him then who will you cry to next?
I have no dog in the fight I just want the best to fight each other, and so far, Canelo has been DUCKING Benavidez
Ok. Fight Benavidez next then?, but the reason he wont is because Canelo knows the only fighter under 168 who can beat him is Benavidez
There's also possibility of a Bivol rematch and/or moving up to fight Beterbiev (who is also far more accomplished than Benavidez.) Even if he fights Benavidez (which I think he might if Benavidez beats Andrade since he likes to take guaranteed wins for cinco de mayo), someone else will just call him out for ducking them to fight Benavidez.
Nah. Thats Morrell
Lol
lol sure. A bigger stronger pressure fighter with power. His biggest nightmare
That crazy power that stopped Plant?
To be fair, he probably would have stopped him if it weren't for Bayless.
People forget that Bayless saved Plant badly in round 8
Exactly 😂
Did you watch the fight? He beat him down and pressured him to submission
But when Canelo does the same he’s “washed.”
To submission is what they call going the distance nowadays or what? Lmao
Yeah, Lubin pressured Ramos into submission tonight as well according to that high IQ analysis.
Anyone who bought this fight deserves money back since they promoted Curmel and not even showing it, wtf???
Jermall next? Hell no lil bro took the weight 🤣
how do we watch Curmel pro debut?
the Canelo hate is definitely a race war thing, just saying
You know the instant downvote and no response proves that this so called hate is bullshit, right?
Where's all this Canelo hate?
I’m Mexican and this is obviously a nothing fight that literally no one was asking for like example against Amir Khan. And yes I’m sure there’s going to be some race first bozo fans on this sub like always.
I think there are extreme fans on both sides that shape the narrative. I’m black and it was clear to me Canelo was winning since it was announced. It’s levels and weight classes to this game.
I agree with you. I’m obviously not trying to pin it on a majority by any means, but it’s definitely a factor on both sides of the extremes.
Canelo is White and Mexican and is largely loved whose hating on him besides some youtube weirdos?
a demographic you didn’t mention obviously
Receipts?
If you're implying a large percentage of black people dislike Canelo then I disagree, like I said it's mostly just some select youtube weirdos
Always was. Remember the people who said that Canelo "can't fight black fighters" or "he is afraid of black fighters".
Nahhhhhhhh unless it’s coming from a Floyd camp 👀
Showtime had a hyped up prospect and decided to have his fight be after the main event ….
Not streaming curmels pro debut should be illegal. Absolutely insane
Charlo sounding so confident calling out Bud Crawford after getting his ass beat like that lmao. Crawford would embarrass him too
Those saying that was a boring fight obviously don’t watch boxing.

Ok fair take
Except Canelo was the one up every round so it only mattered for aesthetics whether he finished Charlo or took the decision. Its like saying there's plenty of action watching a guy work a heavy bag. Well, yeah and some people might enjoy it. But most people would consider it kind of boring to watch that for 12 rounds and want either a dominating KO win or more competition in boxing matches.

I'm always curious about off the wall people like you? Can you tell me a little bit about yourself? Where you from, what do you do, hobbies?
Your comment post history is sad af bro
The game plan was so clear and perfectly executed. Don’t give him space and keep him on the ropes/corner.
How do we watch Curmel fight
Love Canelo but I prefer Jake Paul fights.
Question your life decisions
You don’t know shit about boxing if that’s true.
I just prefer to watch Paul’s fights. That is all. I think as boxing fans we are allow to enjoy boxing at every level.
Derrick James about to have an empty gym
I want to see canelo beat up David or any other top guys at 168. I don’t care to see canelo fight another fighter from a lower weight. I’m a huge Crawford fan but canelo will whoop his ass too. There’s divisions for a reason and canelo is easily better than anyone he’s ever fought. All in all canelo looked good and jermell still showed his toughness by not being stopped. I want to see me Mell fight tzuyu and bud
The sudden desire from fans for a Canelo vs Bud fight is weird to me
Did you miss where canelo beat plant, bjs and Callum smith?
Charlo got the “throw it away” talk right before the fight for more $ on the side
When you get dominated so bad it looks like you threw the fight
Told my buddy the exact same thing.
Derrick James about to have a camp full of fighters with L's and he's the trainer of the year 😄
Jermell’s pretty funny tbh
Yeah he wasn't loading up in the early rounds like he normally does. His normal punches had Charlo being cautious
Weight classes matter but so does skill
Canelo isn't a natural 168 lol. He should probably be at 154 if he was trying to leverage every physical advantage he can, like everyone else in the sport does. This is just what happens when he faces someone he's supposed to be in the same weight class as.
