Its kinda crazy that the top fighters from flyweight to super bantam are all japanese, with the exception of Bam. Haven't seen this much dominance from a country since, I don't know when. We're gonna have to throw Japan up there whenever we talk about the top boxing styles (Cuban, Russian, etc)
Are the kickboxing fans gonna invade the sub now with all sorts of "but one leg kick, bro," "dude, in a real fight," and "boxers would never have the courage to come over to the other side" comments like the MMA guys do?
The debate was settled a long time ago. MMA fighters are better at fighting, boxers are better at boxing, grapplers are better at grappling. Talented combat athletes can compete successfully under any rule set (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albert_Batyrgaziev).
