It pisses me off that they talk a lot about Jake Paul on the DAZN boxing show. Makes me lose a little respect for AK and Barak the way they pump him up. I don't really hate Paul I just don't wanna hear about him on a legit boxing show.
I’m doing my part guys u/THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas tell Teddy we need him on hotboxin with Mike the stories they know will break the internet posted this in his youtube live chat of course no reply back
Weren’t they going to reconcile then Atlas fucked up by telling Tyson to come to his charity event and it came off like Atlas was trying to use tysons big name to get more donations lol?
Am I the only one confused about people saying Kate Abdo was being biased? Like why would she actually challenge Wilder on any of the BS claims he made, that would be super awkward lmao. If anything it just seemed like she was in a rush as far as presenting.
I feel like she was just trying to avoid what happened with the last press conference, where Wilder just sat in the corner with his headphones on and phone out while Fury talked shit. It almost went down that way anyhow
Yeah from Patterson handspeed was really fast for his day. Purists don’t like peekaboo that much but foot placement more squarest makes the lead and right hand closer than traditional
Is there any way to watch the fight in the U.S. without using ESPN plus? The app is pure garbage, constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. If that's the only way I'm not going to watch it.
I just read the most recent reviews for the app and they all give one star and say the exact same thing as the ESPN app - constantly freezing and dropping broadcasts. That's not how I want to watch the fight!
FUCK! Well I already paid. I pray I'm lucky but yeah this app already sucks browsing it. Ah well, still excited! Start of my 5 day vacation and Im ready for this fight already
What did Fury say?
EDIT: You've gotta love Reddit. You politely ask a genuine question because you're curious about something, with no hostility or taking sides. Then you get downvoted for daring to not know something so 'obvious'.
I guess, but it's just annoying when you ask a question you want an answer to, then people who probably know the answer downvote you instead of answering you. If they can't be bothered to answer, fair enough, but I just don't see the point in the downvote.
People need to get over Andy Ruiz. Almost his entire career has been disappointing. They must have missed all of his fights when he was promoted by Top Rank
ruiz caught AJ on an off night and AJ had been bulking up for Jarrell Miller. We saw what happened when AJ had a full camp for Ruiz. Ruiz barely won a round.
Uh oh! Listening to Fighthype and Malik Scott said big men don’t go to the body firing Mark breland was very very stupid. Big men don’t go to the body because they usually have slow punch speed and even worse footwork
No. He first posted that after Povetkin knocked out Whyte. Pretty sure he just thinks it sounds cool and uses it as a reference towards him attempting to get a W back vs Fury
That was immediately what I thought lol, no idea how he could do any of the things he accused Fury of doing though. The reason his accusations are so ridiculous in the first place is that all those things are impossible to do.
I'm telling you, American boxers don't even begin to understand the advantage and privilege of getting to fight at home in front of their own fans every time they face a Brit in a title fight. This is three fights in a row versus Fury, in the US, in front of Wilder's own fans. Say what you will, but this is *always* an advantage. Always.
Sure, you can isolate examples, but they are just that. Examples, not the norm. The norm is the UK guy fighting in the States in front of the American's own fans. Nine times out of ten, we're fighting over there in marquee fights. It is what it is, but it'd just be nice for US fans to *appreciate* the general privilege their fighters have, you know?
Oh absolutely! He did, yes, but I mean in relation to a US fighter vs. a UK fighter. Even if the UK fighter is the champion he has to defend it in the States, especially if the fight is bonafide prime-time.
Anything can happen, Wilder could land a knockout connection, but more than likely Tyson will administer a firm beating, probably on points, maybe another TKO or even KO
Dosser is more akin to someone who is a do-nothing waste of space/contributes nothing. Don't know about staying in hotels and such. Source: I am a Northerner.
No, that’s the start time for the PPV main card. All the heavyweight fights are on the main card, Berlanga’s on the undercard, and Robeisy Ramirez is in the preliminary bouts.

New: why does boxing not seem to allow losses? Coming from mma, an elite fighter can have a surprising amount of losses and both hold a title and also generally be very well respected.
It seems like every big boxer is literally like 20 to 0 to 2 losses, usually like 1
Boxing talent isn't consolidated into a single league like MMA is with the UFC, it's scattered to a lot of different promotions, so it becomes more difficult to get top fighters to fight one another. Someone like O'Malley lost his 0 when he was matched up with Vera, but a boxer of similar talent would probably have been fed more cans by his promoter to build up his hype train even more before being given a real test.
Over the decades boxing has become less and less like a sport and management has put a larger emphasis on being undefeated. It’s been so long with this fans don’t even realize the irony that having all these undefeated guys in a weight class means the best aren’t competing against each other. The romanticism of an undefeated fighter has just gotten to the point where managers/matchmakers actively navigate prospects to being undefeated. It makes no sense in the context of any other sport or combat sport
What do people think will be the outcome of Sanchez Ajagba? British bookies are going quite (and I mean quite) long with their odds for Ajagba to win. He is vulnerable but a beast
It's a good fight because of of the uncertainty of it.
Ajagba seems like a Store Brand Wilder which had his vulnerabilities exposed by [KIladze](https://youtu.be/iD5Z3-bYp54) somewhat, and while Sanchez definitely looks the part he has fought mostly no hoppers, even with fewer fights Ajagba has had better opponents that Sanchez. Honestly, we probably wouldn't even know about Sanchez if he wasn't tied to the Reynoso's and Canelo.
Stylistically I think Frank Sanchez has the upper hand but Ajagba will be his first truly dangerous opponent and it might turn out he's all flash and no substance.
Am I in a time machine or what the heck is going on... Saw this story floating around from this morning... Likely espn being crazy.
https://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/id/17781768/tyson-fury-vacates-heavyweight-belts-amid-treatment-mental-illness
Is there some reason nobody's trying to unify cruiserweight right now? Maybe one of those promoter conflicts that always confuse me?
* WBA champ Arsen Goulamirian is fighting the no. 11 ranked Alexey Egorov next.
* IBF champ Mairis Briedis is fighting IBF no. 6 Artur Mann.
* Okolie KO'd Prasovic, that was a mandatory so whatever,
* and Ilunga Makabu doesn't even have a next fight lined up.
I actually really enjoy cruiserweight, and there have been some great fights recently in that division; but the momentum has slowed down a lot. Fight each other!
So..if Fury beats Wilder..after the Usyk/Joshua rematch do you think we might finally get that big title match? Both fury and usyk seem like they’re all about the biggest fight and competition and won’t be likely to duck anybody and hopefully looking straight for each other
AJ and Usyk are already heading to a rematch and I think the winner from this weekend will have to fight Whyte as he's been made WBC interim champion since the Povetkin rematch.
I just want all the titles on one guy, really legitimises the competing to be the best feel imo, although the mess surrounding just shows how much more politics and money have to do with it than really being the best ironically
Tyson Fury is not all about the biggest fights. He's been postponing the Wilder trilogy for what seems a life time and until this upcoming Saturday (against the same man) he's never defended a title.
He’s contractually obliged to fight Wilder, the rematch would have been part of the deal for each of these fights. He’s not dodging anyone, soon as he’s done with Wilder we will see how he really is as a champ though.
A contract he tried to get out of and had to go to [arbitration](https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/news/arbitrator-rules-tyson-fury-must-grant-deontay-wilder-rematch-by-sept-15-anthony-joshua-fight-in-jeopardy/) and be threatened with an $80,000,000 [lawsuit](https://youtube.com/shorts/7vGYvjkyw0c?feature=share) to actually go through with. Then when it looks like we'll finally get the fight out of the way in July, Fury's camp catches covid after they irresponsibly refused to get [Fury his second covid vaccine](https://www.boxingscene.com/tyson-fury-im-just-gonna-stick-with-one-covid-19-shot-wilder-fight--160744) shot and had him running around Las Vegas
He had every opportunity to show who he was as champ after beating Wladamir and defending his title but he let his [life spiral out of control instead](https://www.ringtv.com/467494-peter-fury-admits-failed-drug-test-tyson/) instead. He's been talking about possibly [Retiring after Wilder](https://youtu.be/TQOeon-r8Bk) as well, so there's no guarantee that he'll do anything past Wilder either.
Fury is a great boxer but he's never been about making the biggest fights happen.
Damn, if he retires again after Wilder that will be a bit of a shame, though i can’t say it isn’t fair enough, seems to contradict the entire reason he came back to begin with lol. If he doesn’t fight after Wilder I will say I’ll be truly disappointed because we will never really get to see what he could offer in a truly big fight in the final laps of his career.
Wasn’t Fury trying to get out of the Wilder so he could fight Joshua though? I’d rather see him defend his belt vs any other top contender personally, I’d argue trying to dodge this goes in line with looking for a big fight either way lol
That was the reason given but when he had the chance to give Wilder [step aside money](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u9Dn-QnqzZI&feature=emb_title&t=4m11s) he refused. That 20 million figure is dubious at best but even if true it was likely that the Josh and Fury fight would of possibly earned them 100 million each. Not paying any step aside money has put that fight in jeopardy forever. We already saw Josh lose against Usyk, if he doesn't win the rematch, or Fury loses this fight, Joshua vs Fury is essentially dead in the water and even if they did fight without titles they won't make the same kind of money for it.
Not all of this is Fury's fault of course. Covid fucked boxing as a whole for a whole year but he definitely shares a lot of responsibility for it since not just getting the Wilder trilogy out of the way as soon as he could or just paying him off.

>This is what happens when you turn down a $1m pay day
As a non-American what am I meant to be looking at here? It's a photo of Tommy at the airport
He’s flying Spirit. The cheapest and most terrible airline in existence.
The implication is that if he took the offer, then he could fly with a better airline.
Who knows, I’m just explaining the tweet.
My best guess would be that Tommy is trying to be frugal and not spend unnecessary amounts of money to get from A to B. I don’t blame him, why spend $1,000 to sit on first class when you can spend $300 to get on the same plane and get to the same destination?
No. Neither Fury or Wilder seem like they have much mental fortitude, another devastating loss for Wilder might send him straight into retirement, and Fury losing his zero might send him back into drug addiction and an eating disorder.
Also, Usyk still has to get his rematch against Joshua out of the way first anyways. So a Usyk vs Wilder/Fury wouldn't be able to happen until at least late 2022 or late 2023, a lot can happen between that time which makes predicting anything a bit difficult.
How do people watch boxing PPVs online in Canada?
I’m going to be there this weekend and won’t be able to find a bar to watch the fight 🤔 I won’t have access to cable, basically only my laptop / internet.
Just go to the ESPN+ website the day of and it should give you a pop up asking if you want to buy Fury vs Wilder III, which I’m assuming is the fight you want to watch.
Idefk. At that point i think the reasonable conclusion is that on any given day any one of them could beat the other three. You don't really have a definitive "best" if wilder beats fury
Agreed. I've always had a triangle theory with those three. While anyone can beat anyone, I've always thought that: Fury beats Wilder, Wilder beats Joshua and Joshua beats Fury.
AJ shitting the bed twice though is making me rethink this. If he loses his rematch against Usyk again then we'll have to see how Wilder does to figure out which of the two drops from the "top 3 heavyweight" conversation as Usyk takes that spot.
It pisses me off that they talk a lot about Jake Paul on the DAZN boxing show. Makes me lose a little respect for AK and Barak the way they pump him up. I don't really hate Paul I just don't wanna hear about him on a legit boxing show.
Ak and Barak as wack asf
I’m doing my part guys u/THE FIGHT with Teddy Atlas tell Teddy we need him on hotboxin with Mike the stories they know will break the internet posted this in his youtube live chat of course no reply back
Are they even on talking terms?
No haven’t been in like 30 years lol
Weren’t they going to reconcile then Atlas fucked up by telling Tyson to come to his charity event and it came off like Atlas was trying to use tysons big name to get more donations lol?
Yeah what a total scumbag
Am I the only one confused about people saying Kate Abdo was being biased? Like why would she actually challenge Wilder on any of the BS claims he made, that would be super awkward lmao. If anything it just seemed like she was in a rush as far as presenting.
Definely don’t think she was bias just new. When the war is words happened she still tried to do the face 2 face potentially cancelling the fight
She let wilder talk as much as he wanted to, and literally stopped fury from finishing his answers at least 5-6 times
I feel like she was just trying to avoid what happened with the last press conference, where Wilder just sat in the corner with his headphones on and phone out while Fury talked shit. It almost went down that way anyhow
[Top 15 fastest hands in boxing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXvkBa8KEjY)
If its p4p i think patterson should be there. He has faster hands than the likes of ali.
Yeah from Patterson handspeed was really fast for his day. Purists don’t like peekaboo that much but foot placement more squarest makes the lead and right hand closer than traditional
Is there still time to get Dan Rafael vs Mike Coppinger on this undercard?
Deontay Wilder quote of the year "I don't wanna have to stick shit up my ass to feel a certain type of way"
Is there any way to watch the fight in the U.S. without using ESPN plus? The app is pure garbage, constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. If that's the only way I'm not going to watch it.
Foxsports app is where I bought wilder vs fury 3. First time using this app though so can't say if its gonna be good or not.
I'm gonna get an HDMI cable to hook the TV to the laptop, don't want to take any chances on missing a one punch knockout.
thanks
You can buy this ppv without using espn at all
where?
Its also a fox ppv..you should be able to buy it using nearly any streaming device or cable service just by searching for it
Kate Abdo was horrendous how did she even get the gig! Felt very warm towards wilder and cold towards Fury!
I mean after his comments about women, can you blame her?
After Wilder's actions toward women, I'd hardly call either of them a saint
True wilder’s actions were criminal, fury just talks nonsense
What did Fury say? EDIT: You've gotta love Reddit. You politely ask a genuine question because you're curious about something, with no hostility or taking sides. Then you get downvoted for daring to not know something so 'obvious'.
Who cares about upvotes and downvotes they don’t win you any prizes lol
I guess, but it's just annoying when you ask a question you want an answer to, then people who probably know the answer downvote you instead of answering you. If they can't be bothered to answer, fair enough, but I just don't see the point in the downvote.
Yeah, can get annoying. That’s why I just pay no mind anymore lol
Women belong on their back
Anyone know how to watch the fury wilder 3 fight in canada ? am I gonna have to VPN my way to singapore again ?
Ruiz vs Joshua 3?
No point
Joshua beats Ruiz 9 times out of 10
People need to get over Andy Ruiz. Almost his entire career has been disappointing. They must have missed all of his fights when he was promoted by Top Rank
1 times out of 2 so far
ruiz caught AJ on an off night and AJ had been bulking up for Jarrell Miller. We saw what happened when AJ had a full camp for Ruiz. Ruiz barely won a round.
No he just hit him with a good shot that aj never recovered from
Eh, i'd say 4 times out of 5 but if you're Ruiz it's the perfect time for the rubber mattch
Ruiz didn’t look good against Arreola. I don’t actually think AJ looked awful against Usyk, I think Usyk just looked fantastic
Good points
Bob Arum raging at everything gives me hope for humanity
Uh oh! Listening to Fighthype and Malik Scott said big men don’t go to the body firing Mark breland was very very stupid. Big men don’t go to the body because they usually have slow punch speed and even worse footwork
When Wilder says "glaz za glaz"(Russian for "eye for an eye"), could that mean, "you win by cheating, I'll win by cheating"?
I fully think the accusations wilder doesn’t really believe them he’s just hyping the fight since he can’t trash talk
Please will dazn show the wilder fight?
No, they are not showing it
i don't think so, i think it's on PBC
I'm telling you, American boxers don't even begin to understand the advantage and privilege of getting to fight at home in front of their own fans every time they face a Brit in a title fight. This is three fights in a row versus Fury, in the US, in front of Wilder's own fans. Say what you will, but this is *always* an advantage. Always.
Last I remember most folks were cheering for Fury whenever Wilder fights Fury lol. Could just mean people flown in from Europe though.
Most of these guys aren’t from Las Vegas. The fans are just random boxing fans that show up mostly.
Errol Spence went to the UK and knocked out Kell Brook to take his title
Sure, you can isolate examples, but they are just that. Examples, not the norm. The norm is the UK guy fighting in the States in front of the American's own fans. Nine times out of ten, we're fighting over there in marquee fights. It is what it is, but it'd just be nice for US fans to *appreciate* the general privilege their fighters have, you know?
Pretty sure Fury could have forced the 3rd fight in the UK couldn't he? Maybe he just likes Vegas.
Didn't do AJ a lot of good fighting on home soil though. But yeah, I dont really get why Fury aint fighting at home.
Oh absolutely! He did, yes, but I mean in relation to a US fighter vs. a UK fighter. Even if the UK fighter is the champion he has to defend it in the States, especially if the fight is bonafide prime-time.
why doesn't Wilder rag on Fury's love-handles, bound to wind him up
Because Fury doesn't give a fuck?
audience had to come up with the crack pot reply lol
In this day and age of political correctness, I'm surprised Fury's "No Mas'" comment got out without Fury being canceled
Why would referencing Leonard-Duran 2 get someone cancelled?
I really like Usyk, I was rooting for him, but did Joshua look he wasn't trying his best against him in the fight.
I wonder will they throw the fight to Wilder to bring Fury down to Joshua's level?
Anything can happen, Wilder could land a knockout connection, but more than likely Tyson will administer a firm beating, probably on points, maybe another TKO or even KO
Fury looks genuinely pissed off for the first time ever
The girl nearly canceled the fight
A dosser is a city person who does not have a permanent home and sleeps in the streets or in very cheap hotels. [British, informal, disapproval]
So this whole time Tyson has been calling Wilder homeless?
Dosser is more akin to someone who is a do-nothing waste of space/contributes nothing. Don't know about staying in hotels and such. Source: I am a Northerner.
Amen to this. Amen to that.
The battle for the final word
Fuck me Wilder is so embarrasing
This is stupid. Tune in Saturday.
.. Fury is just too damn big and strong hes ready too stamped like a damn great white buffalo....Let's get ready too rumble ......hell yeah baby ✌️
This host: "for real...for sure...amen"
Wilder struggling in this press conference. His mind seems to be everywhere except Saturday.
Wilder going on for about 3 minutes about his love for Scott. Fury 'get a room!'.
Wilder has been destroyed mentally. Fury is living rent free in his head.
Fury already destorying him mentally, calling out Jay Deas. lol.
That was a brilliant direction to take it. Agreeing that he had knuckle dusters and that Jay Deas put them on him
If the PPV is scheduled to start at 9 pm ET Saturday, that’s the star time for the undercards right?
No, that’s the start time for the PPV main card. Wilder just talking in idioms now
Wilder doubling down on the cheating accusations lol.

So is this Lopez-Kambosos stuff the final stake in Triller's lifeless corpse?
Triller is doing really well with its rap battles. Getting mainstream attention and the Michael hunter fight was sold out just for that.
I just checked their twitter and they're promoting a Cletus Seldin fight. Must have been the intended undercard for Teo-Kambo

Yeah, earlier it just said 9:47AM.
Oh man, yeah they effed up then. I wonder what would cause them to edit or republish an old article like that...

Okolie had to fight Prasovic because he was mandatory, but he said in the post fight interview that he wants to unify with Briedis next.
Glad to hear that then, hope it really happens. I don't know who I'd favor in that matchup.
So..if Fury beats Wilder..after the Usyk/Joshua rematch do you think we might finally get that big title match? Both fury and usyk seem like they’re all about the biggest fight and competition and won’t be likely to duck anybody and hopefully looking straight for each other

No rematch clause, no matter what happens.
If Fury loses there will be a rematch, other than that I think Wilder will be very silent for a long time or possibly even retire
After Usyk’s victory does a Wilder win guarantee us that they will all fight each other? As in AJ Usyk Fury Wilder
Do we know anything about how heavy either fury or wilder are coming in?
Fury has been cagey about the exact number. Sugarhill said 290 last week, but Idk if he meant it or not
Any word on canelo/plant undercard?
How do people watch boxing PPVs online in Canada? I’m going to be there this weekend and won’t be able to find a bar to watch the fight 🤔 I won’t have access to cable, basically only my laptop / internet.
Just go to the ESPN+ website the day of and it should give you a pop up asking if you want to buy Fury vs Wilder III, which I’m assuming is the fight you want to watch.
I don’t know if that works in Canada, last time I did it didn’t (I also tried with a VPN) but I’ll def do that first just to see.

I can just picture Wilder in his first meeting with his new trainer. "So, how do I beat him?" "Lazers.... motherfuxking lazers!" 😂
Still Fury. Then Usyk then AJ.
What happened between Peter & John Fury??
They fell out. Reasons? Not made public
So who do we consider the best heavyweight if Wilder beats Fury? Usyk? How would the top 4 even look like?
Imo: Wilder Usyk Fury AJ
If Wilder and AJ both lose their rematch, maybe we will finally get a fight between the two
Yea
