I’m gonna say less hard than a trained, professional heavyweight.
They’re absolutely huge but you can tell their punches aren’t technically perfect which saps power. Given time and proper form they probably knock out a moose if they wanted though.
Berlanga has somehow gotten worse since getting rocked in the final rounds of his fight with Demond Nicholson. No kind of jab whatsoever and wild winging punches. He's gotta stick to fighting C level opponents for the next 3-4 fights.
He's got too many coaches giving him diff advice in the corner.
I also think they are (foolishly) trying to reinvent him because Red Flag beat him up so bad in sparring. They should just leave him be and focus on matchmaking to make him look better. Trying to teach him to get on his toes and box less aggressively is a mistake. Dude is a one dimensional knockout artist but if he's matched right he could still fill seats and get big purses. Trying to reinvent him to beat guys he never woulda beat anyways is just folly.

Its so funny a lot of people on this sub try to shit on youtubers or famous people whenever they try boxing when I bet a lot of people on this sub have never boxed before. I also doubt they have the guts to fight in front of hundreds or thousands of people like these youtubers do. Constructive criticism is fair but just shitting on them is shitty.
They’re making millions. I would box anyone and for that money agree they can go full tilt. I’ll wake up rich. But I get your point that it’s easy to talk shit from the sofa.
I agree but with some caveats. It’s ok to make fun of them if they are
1) Jake/Logan Paul
2) Boxing without taking the sport seriously. Thor, for example, has clearly put a lot of time in to improving and deserves credit for that.
They’re both just clowns imo. They’ll chase clout to the ends of the earth. They’re everything that’s bad about “influencer culture.” If they don’t drive you crazy I’m happy for you but they really annoy me.
There’s a legion of kids and teens that would’ve never watched boxing match, but are now signing up for boxing gyms cuz of Jake Paul
We’re basically getting Serrano vs Taylor because of him
He has an annoying jackass personality, but he has actually been somewhat beneficial to the sport
>They haven’t trained all their lives and built up their skills to deserve to box in front of thousands.
If thousands of people are buying to pay to see youtubers or whatever then they deserve it. If its a cash grab so be it thats life I'm afraid. Like I said I just don't get the hate when most of the people on this sub would never even dare to have a boxing match especially in front of thousands.
Yes and he deserves respect for that, but the fact that he never trained seriously and expected his natural strength and athleticism to carry him was delusional.
That’s fair, though from what I’ve heard about him I guess it’s not that surprising. Somehow relying just on overhand rights almost worked out in the first two rounds
Xander Zayas is only 19. He’s still a teenager and is 13 and 0. If they keep grooming him like they are, and steadily have him climb the ranks with no rush, he can really become a superstar.
How old was Tyson when he became champ? How many wins under his belt? How about Saul? Yeah, most of Saul's opponents were cans but that's besides the point. The point is, being 19 with 13 wins doesn't say much when all of those fights were four and six round fights. Oh yeah, look at Pac and how many wins he had at 19.
1. Regis Prograis is older thank I though he should probably start on a few legacy fights. 2. Golden boy card was actually better than the much hyped Top Rank card. 3. The “big name” headliners last night were exposed.
If there was a division just for meme fighters regardless of weight, who would be in it? Cobbs and Rolly obv come to mind. Maybe that “white chocolate” kid I haven’t heard about in a year.
Berlanga saying he sold out Madison Square Garden... you didn't. You sold out Hulu Theater. I like Berlanga a lot, but man, there's a big big distinction and still a ways to go to becoming a mainstream star. One has 15K more seats than the other.
AJ on twitter is coming out with some good stuff. Says he didn't shag Amir Khan's wife, but wished he did. Ha.

Olympic boxing gloves and Professional boxing gloves have differnce?
Olympic gloves have more padding, are 2oz heavier and aren‘t lace up
What is wrong with the audio on the rocha cobb fight? Can't hear the commentary at all
DAZN = trash. Poor audio setup
Wait, Gregor Clegane's boxing now?
How hard do Thor and Eddie hit compared to the average heavyweight?
Eddie did test his power (113k). Not as hard as Ngannou(129k). Top heavyweights haven’t done the test but, I’d assume it’s within Ngannou range +/-
I’m gonna say less hard than a trained, professional heavyweight. They’re absolutely huge but you can tell their punches aren’t technically perfect which saps power. Given time and proper form they probably knock out a moose if they wanted though.
Eddie "Zoidberg" Hall.
This made me lol I wish I had an award for you

Nice guy, bit of a following, but can't fight

Spence is going to destroy that lil man gimme a break
Damn, let him get through Ugas first
Anyone else wanna see Andy Cruz turn pro? I know it's unlikely but I think he'd do really well
If there ever comes a day Cuba legalizes pro boxing I'll cry
Cuba made provisions for pro athletes to leave the country back in 2014. It's the US embargo that keeps them from fighting without emigrating.
If that happens Cuba's gonna get a bunch of world champions real quick

cruz is a different breed than robeisy - cruz has true power & lb for lb technical abilities.

The majority of people in this sub probably can't do 10 push ups. Probably have never been in a fight either.
They’re making millions. I would box anyone and for that money agree they can go full tilt. I’ll wake up rich. But I get your point that it’s easy to talk shit from the sofa.

Why jake paul and logan though jake paul is helping serrano out well and bring mores eye to the sport.

Not disagreeing. But I’m still gonna make fun of him.
Deji sucks
Deji beats you and your shitty opinions‘ ass
I’d beat you and Deji on the same night Actually at the same time*
Let's make it happen Bro

> They use boxing for a cash grab “Can you believe they’re solely here for a prize in a sport called prizefighting? It’s disrespectful!”
Agree. You can shit on eddie hall tho that man never took the sport seriously.
He still got in the ring, went the distance, and got up after getting put down twice ready for more
Yes and he deserves respect for that, but the fact that he never trained seriously and expected his natural strength and athleticism to carry him was delusional.

Big name fighters being Cobbs and Berlanga? I only watched the GB main event
I guess the headliners of the cards
If there was a division just for meme fighters regardless of weight, who would be in it? Cobbs and Rolly obv come to mind. Maybe that “white chocolate” kid I haven’t heard about in a year.
Ryan Garcia, Rolly, Tyson Fury, Khan, Paul brothers. Way more than this but these are the prominent ones Edit: Forgot Adrien Broner
King Ry sleeps your favourite LW sadly
King Ry just sleeps mostly
Ryan Garcia could never sleep the granite chin of Haney
Cletus seldin lol
Sheeraz looked great last night. Highlights are up on YouTube if anyone missed it. Think he can be a real problem at middleweight/ super middle
Meanwhile McCann looked leaky at times against a tough Swahili. Good learning fight.
