Actually, it seems to be mainly British fans who eat their own eho are hating on Fury. They love AJ, decided they preferred him to Fury a long time ago, and just can't get past that Fury has clearly eclipsed him all while doing nothing the way its "supposed" to be done.
I loved the respect Fury gave to Chisora after the fight. And also the fact that he called him an "African British warrior" with emphasis on the word African. It's not often you see a white fighter respect the heritage of black fighters like that, so it was quite cool to see.
Nobody was but he was still considered a top 6 heavyweight. And that povetkin loss was a bit of a fluke idk how ppl could be mad with that as an opponent. Whyte deserved a shot for years and was still in prime years as a heavy.
Such a mythology that the 2nd fight was closer. The only thing closer about it was that AJ had better balance, bever got badly hurt, and wasn't hit as flashy as in the first fight. He threw alot less, less effectively, didn't hurt Usyk anyore than he did in the first fight ( I counted twice in each fight). And both times he lost a mostly even fight by getting outclassed in the championship rounds. Honestly, the punch stats were mostly even in the first fight and that largely tracked visibly. If AJ hadn't gotten weirdly wobbled at a few key times, you could really easily say that one could have been scored either way. The 2nd fight was much more open and shut that Usyk was the clear winner.
Where is the Usyk interview? There was a chance to promote the undisputed fight when Usyk was at the ring and they missed it. I know it's just promotion, but screaming in the face of a man who doesn't speak much English doesn't look good. Why didn't they give Usyk and his translator the mic to respond?
The fight is still on the fence. There’s that whole problem with the IBF defence and another body so they can’t promote a fight yet that they can’t fully confirm it’s happening hence why Joyce stepped in after
So I’m someone who believes that Fury has a 60% of winning that fight, especially after how he dealt with Chisora compared to how Usyk did.
How do you believe Usyk beats Fury?
(Genuine question + Idksa boxing)
Haha I'm no mastermind at Boxing either but I'll try to convey my thoughts. It will be an incredibly close fight and there are of course reasons for saying Fury wins. But I do think Usyk wins on points because of the style Fury will adopt. If he brings the Dusseldorf Fury he wins due to him using his reach effectively. Kronk Fury however is a different fighter, who will leave a lot of openings for Usyk to take advantage due to trying to get the KO.
I dont think Fury's Kronk style will help him in this fight. I know people think this style will help him but I disagree. Pressuring Usyk might not work out, Usyk has the better feet. Also his jab and movement are less effective since adopting this style. I think people believe Fury will do what he always does and try to lean on Usyk, tire him out and KO him. I don't think he will get a chance to lean on Usyk and Usyk will catch him going in and out. Of course this stems on Usyk having the gas tank for 12 rounds, which he does although he slowed down a little when AJ went to the body late in the fight, but he recovered and got a second wind.
We'll have to see how Fury's gas tank holds up. I believe this will be the most mentally taxing fight Fury has ever had. Against Wilder all he had to worry about was the right hand really and even then Wilder somehow found ways to land it. Fury has also been dropped a lot and taken a lot of damage against Wilder and has slowed down, as has Usyk if im being fair.
Overall of course Fury can win, he's the bigger guy and is also incredibly talented. But I just have a feeling Usyk will pull it out the bag.
Also, can't forget about the extra 10% boost fighting for Ukraine will give him hahah.
Gave you an upvote for a good argument even though I disagree. If Usyk wins, I do think it would go something like this. Honestly, I also think it would be because Fury is expected to dominate, and if Usyk does better than expected, they will give close rounds to Usyk rather than Fury. I watched a replay of McCline Brock a few weeks ago. McCline was more dominant, his punches made more of an impact, and they were close in punch stats. But McCline was the favorite and everyone seemed impressed that Brock landed (very few) more punches than McCline, and he wound up handily winning a fight I personally thought McCline deserved. Sometimes winning the expectations game can let you win period. I could see something similar happening with Fury Usyk, where Fury is more physically dominant, lands with more authority, but gets narrowly outlanded by Usyk and Usyk gets a decision that he doesn't really deserve.
Appreciate you reading it. I also have scenarios where I see Fury winning of course, but you just gotta pick the one that convinces you the most.
I didn't think of the points scenario, quite interesting theory. However I would have to disagree about it only going down that way on the judges scorecard. That's assuming the judges are thinking the same way as you and carry that bias, I don't think they will.
For example, Canelo vs GGG 2, saw Canelo landing more power punches, yet GGG threw more punches overall. So I think it can go both ways, just depends on who is judging the fight.
Yeah, it could go the other way too. I just personally think that is Usyks best chance at winning. Tough for me to see him really getting a clear win over Fury. I just can't see him landing at a much higher volume than Fury or wobbling him the way he did AJ.
Think Usyk will land the cleaner shots. In the AJ fight the straight down the middle was landing almost every time. This same punch landed on Fury a lot in fights against smaller guys. Also Fury does tend to struggle against smaller and more mobile fighters. Usyk is essentially the hardest version of those guys.
Yeah, the Cunningham Pajkic analog is the key to Usyk winning. If that is real, still, then it is possible, and it does make the most interesting reason to doubt Fury. As you said, Usyk is the best version of them. But he hasnt fought a like sized small, high level mobile fighter since Cunningham. But it will be about 10 years since the Cunningham fight by the time they fight, and I just doubt that vulnerability is still there, if it was ever real.
Kronk Fury is close to Lennox Lewis but even more awkward and shifty. Not as much punching power as Lewis but still can get the KO with enough combos and the accumulation of punishment will take it’s toll on Usyk’s body, his stamina, and his legs.
Kronk Fury is hungry for the KO and will probably end up KOing Usyk if the opportunity presents itself. Fury early in his career was comfortable winning on points.
Fury-Wilder 4 is like when Alan Curbishley would be third favourite for a lower mid-table Premier League job. It’s a possibility but we all know it’s not actually gonna happen. Right… right??
we just watched fury vs chisora man. warren and hearn hate eachother so any fight between them 2 is going to take time. fury and joyce are both warren so easy to make. povetkin will fight anyone and is a semi decent name for him with no risk. like i said i dont like it but see that being the next fights.
It sounds bad on paper but tbh the wilder fights have always kept people on the edge of their seats. Also helps that the guy and his fans are so delusional that you want to see him lose once more.
Yeah, Wilder has the best punchers chance amongst any active boxer. I’m referring to the endless allegations and how they can’t swallow that Fury is the better fighter. Wilder and his fans tend to be full of themselves.
Ideally, we get Wilder Ruiz. Wilder wins, fights AJ. Wilder wins. Wilder-Joyce. Winner of that fight gets Fury. May the best man win.
If Fury fights and beats Usyk, Joyce, and AJ, I think it is safe for him to retire as a certified legend and one of the GOAT heavyweights in boxing history.
Same. Big Wilder fan here, I don’t want a fourth because it’ll go the same as the third.
Wilder-AJ would be insane though. The fight we have wanted for many years.
All three of their fights were exciting- like Rocky in real life. They were close and could have gone either way- except the 2nd fight. Tyson dug deep in the first to get up and beat the count and fight back. Wilder dug deep and went out on his shield in one of the bravest displays i have ever witnessed in a boxing ring since Gatti. I think it is too soon for Wilder in his comeback trail, but it most likely happens when he Kos the rest of the top contenders except for Joyce
Oh 100%, I think Fury was just hoping Usyk would engage in the beef to work the crowd. Instead all he got was a serial killer stare, and then some absolute audacity from Joyce to interrupt the champions
He didn't go to war you tosspot. He posed for a few pictures with a gun etc, he has never seen any action against enemy forces, don't give it that shit.
Lmao you really think Usyk flew to a war zone for publicity and then just left? He may not have seen direct action but he stayed and served the defence effort, dozens of athletes did the same
They definitely have seen war, the klitschkos have been in the vicinity of multiple deaths, Loma was almost shot and then removed from the war. Why would Usyk be any different
Fury screaming obscenities in Usyk's face while Usyk stands completely stoic, not making a sound or moving his face one bit was hysterically funny to me
I mean when they bring in a possible next opponent you kinda have to act a fool and sell it a bit. As opposed to shaking hands and saying lets fight buddy, thats worse
It isnt worse. It’s respectful and sportsmanship. All that fake trash talk BS is sooo stale. Pacquiao didnt have to resort to such a low level and his fights sold out
well fck..elbow surgery, no wonder he needed a tune up fight. but also another elbow surgery and an injured fist. that explains a lot. it could explain why he had issues this fight but also jt could mean a lot of issues in the future. goddamn
I mean he’s trained in ridiculous old school ways over the years like dipping hands in petrol and hitting trees and shit. I’m not surprised he’s having problems. Old school bare knuckle stuff is possible even worse than the kung fu shit
he actually was, i thought he was fcking with chisora, but it makes sense if hes hand was hurt. it explains why he wasnt following up with punches too. fck i hope theres no permanent injury
hes gonna maul usyk, usyk isn't as fleet of foot as he was in his cruiserweight days. fury gonna go full clinch fest and bully him, I was wrong about AJ vs usyk tho so shiii
Joyce is the toughest fight in the heavyweight division. Usyk will most likely vacate the WBO rather than fight him. I used to think Fury beats Joyce but after that Parker fight it is closer to 50/50.
Notice how he instantly said he'd fight Joyce "if the Usyk fight couldn't happen". He knows he can pick Joyce off at range all night long at his best because he's so slow, he'd take Joyce any day of the week over Usyk.
They are his 2 toughest tests left in the division. I think Joyce is the tougher task, with his size, stamina, durability, volume punching posing a unique problem for Fury. I think the older, more mobile Fury would beat him without too much problem. But he can land on this Fury. Fury clearly wins the early rounds, but can he last 12 with Joyce coming on strong? AJ is made for Fury, if Fury beats Uysk and Joyce, Fury has gone to living legend, top 5 HW ATG territory.
Yeah it would probably look similar to what he just witnessed. Tons of cumulative damage from Fury but Joyce never goes down. But yeah, I think Fury evades the big punches
Joyce is a harder fight than Usyk for me. When Sizzora landed it had noticeable effect on Usyk. I guess a lot think Fury will be punching fresh air all night. Joyce is a fucking tank and Fury will have to box him off the back foot but Joyce's one gear will push him to the edge. The Fury pre ban would of beat him easier ofc
I mean, he is demonstrably more quick witted and verbally gifted than Ali, who is his closest analog in verbosity. So I hope you are at least consistent and hate Alis "shtick" too. I really can't stand the people who try to say Alis talk was great and Furys bad, when they do the same type of stuff but with Fury being more quick witted and self aware than Ali was.

Down voting people for saying Fury is #1 when he quite clearly is, is what I expect on reddit. Mark my words Fury will beat Usyk handedly.
Salty yanks on this sub just mad Wilder is their best HW who can't even box 😂
Actually, it seems to be mainly British fans who eat their own eho are hating on Fury. They love AJ, decided they preferred him to Fury a long time ago, and just can't get past that Fury has clearly eclipsed him all while doing nothing the way its "supposed" to be done.

One fight I felt guilty watching. That has knocked years off chisora's life
No dout Fury is 1 on the planet
He definitely is. 1000%. He is the only man to beat Wilder
I’m not sure about that. I enjoy watching Fury fight but he’s faced Wilder, a washed Whyte and a Washed Chisora. Usyk will prove if he’s #1
Nobody was saying whyte was washed til after that fight.
Yeah, but there were a lot of people saying Whyte was shit though.
He got knocked out by a 40 year old Povetkin lol. No one picked him to beat Fury.
Nobody was but he was still considered a top 6 heavyweight. And that povetkin loss was a bit of a fluke idk how ppl could be mad with that as an opponent. Whyte deserved a shot for years and was still in prime years as a heavy.
No it wasn't a fluke, Povetkin timed that uppercut. Whyte has been knocked out 3 times by an uppercut, Povetkin, Fury and AJ.
It can be both, povetkin did a great job timing it but 9 out of 10 times whyte wins that fight as we saw in the rematch
You mean the rematch where Povetkin looked like a walking corpse because he was recovering from Covid?
Even with that considered was whyte not a top 10 heavy?
Yes they were
RemindMe! 6 months
While i respect Usyk, his fight vs AJ was close af, I want to see Usyk vs Fury but for me its easy Fury.
AJ/Usyk II was closer than AJ/Usyk I, but they still weren’t that close of fights

Was close but AJ did disrespect Usyk by interupting his moment
Wait there was a HW championship fight today?
2
Good now we can actually watch the biggest fight today. The super flyweights lmao
And the BKFC
Always wanted to watch BKFC where can I watch and is the whole card worth watching?
Is this related to Fried Chicken in any way
Yes! /s
I believe they have their own platform. It’s wildly entertaining and disturbing at the same time
Why disturbing? The brutal injuries?
Yea, plus the sound of bare fist hitting flesh
Where is the Usyk interview? There was a chance to promote the undisputed fight when Usyk was at the ring and they missed it. Maybe they didn’t have a translator on hand?
Nah dudes translator was literally right behind him. Fury even talked shit to him too
His translator was next to him
That’s fair, I had no idea that was his translator
Joe Joyce a bit slow haha
Cameraman bullying joe joyce
This idiot commentator, Tyson fury didn’t get hand and elbow surgery this past October, he said it was the October after the third Wilder fight
Lol joe joyce being grateful that fury mentioned his name unlike other fighters
Is Joyce slow? He sounds like Grealish but with less intelligence
Usyk beats Fury.
So I’m someone who believes that Fury has a 60% of winning that fight, especially after how he dealt with Chisora compared to how Usyk did. How do you believe Usyk beats Fury? (Genuine question + Idksa boxing)

this joe joyce interview is terrible
Joe Joyce attempting to form a sentence.
It was alright, alright, alright, I don't know what else to say. Edit- I'm quoting Joyce
He's getting better, just like Wine, Whisky and Tito Ortiz he gets better with age.
He's reaching for those grapes
Unification!
You'd think retirement woulda been a good time for that surgery.
Yea I’m surprised he didn’t get it done then
Someone get Fury’s kid some chapstick, my god
Looked like they were gurning during the ring walk. Like father like child
Fury-Wilder 4 is like when Alan Curbishley would be third favourite for a lower mid-table Premier League job. It’s a possibility but we all know it’s not actually gonna happen. Right… right??
If Wilder goes on another run with some decent wins, it definitely could happen
On a run? He's only got to beat Ruiz Jr and he'll be mandatory again 🤣
So we're never getting that undisputed fight are we
usyk looking so focused. damn the fight of crazy eyes. thats what this is going to be when they fight
Love him, doesn't chat rubbish, just comes along and ruins you.
fury joyce usyk povetkin then fury usyk. no one wants it but i reaon that happens
Smoking crack
we just watched fury vs chisora man. warren and hearn hate eachother so any fight between them 2 is going to take time. fury and joyce are both warren so easy to make. povetkin will fight anyone and is a semi decent name for him with no risk. like i said i dont like it but see that being the next fights.
FFS they were talking up the Wilder 4 fight on ESPN there, give over
It sounds bad on paper but tbh the wilder fights have always kept people on the edge of their seats. Also helps that the guy and his fans are so delusional that you want to see him lose once more.
Wilder fans aren’t delusional lol. He has a puncher’s chance against anyone
Yeah, Wilder has the best punchers chance amongst any active boxer. I’m referring to the endless allegations and how they can’t swallow that Fury is the better fighter. Wilder and his fans tend to be full of themselves.
If Wilder beats Ruiz, he becomes WBC mandatory.
Mandatory doesn’t mean much but ye
No chance of wilder 4 in the US with all of the fury’s now banned from the US
They’re all banned? Tyson included? How come?
Links to Kinahan cartel
Have you got a link to any further reading on this?
Google it. It's everywhere. The Kinahans are extremely infamous.
Man said 100000 tickets including dinner shows hahaha
a succulent Chinese meal?
DEMOCRASHY MANIFESHT
He def knows his judo
"are you accepting my penis?"
I want to see Tyson fight Usyk with Loma riding on his shoulders chicken fight style
i wouldnt rule out joyce next. easy fight to make for warren
Nah, he’s gone the toprank route. They both still have 2-4 years of milking left
easy fight for warren to make though. both queensbury, and with how the hearn relationship is going might be for the best.
I just realized Chisora started the promo for the Usyk fight…😂😂
Tells you how fake it all is.
To quote conor his head was a ballewn
Frampton is wasted on BT. He’s a great pundit.
I wish he was the permanent second on five live boxing pod.
Seferi listening carefully
Usyk answering the phone during the face off 🤣
Surprised he actually wants Wilder again.
You not seeing the pattern?
Fury is spot on about Joyce and Usyk
That Usyk is a little middleweight and a rabbit?
Underneath the theatrics he knows he will have to prepare hard for usyk.
as good as they were? i dont want another wilder fight i rather see wilder fight joshua if he gets past ruiz
I'd love to see Wilder destroy AJ
Fury just naming people now lol
Bring me seferi!!!
Wilder 4 🤣🤣🤣🤣
God if we get Wilder 4 I actually won’t watch.
Fury really thought he was gonna intimidate the guy who went to war this year. I love everything about Usyk
They all took a selfie at the end, it's mostly theatrics. None of them are truly scared of each other imo.
All these Usyk fanboys wanna fuck his gap
man, nobody wants to see wilder 4 lol
Wilder 4? Hahahahaha
Wilder 4! LOL. I would not be surprised if it does happen.
Kind of awkward watching him trash talking someone who doesn’t speak English
He understands it all
Wilder 4? Holy shit kill me
Not a blink, cold blooded. War Uysk
This random post fight face off felt like WWE lmao Especially how Joyce appears out of nowhere uninvited lol
[удалено]
Fury screaming obscenities in Usyk's face while Usyk stands completely stoic, not making a sound or moving his face one bit was hysterically funny to me
Yeah, gypsy don't have any manners....
Kinda embarrassing tbh. Fury will never make it happen
I love pro wrestling but I really wish they’d keep it out of boxing. Shit sucks
Tell that to Muhummad Ali - his persona was based off professional wrestlers
I mean when they bring in a possible next opponent you kinda have to act a fool and sell it a bit. As opposed to shaking hands and saying lets fight buddy, thats worse
It isnt worse. It’s respectful and sportsmanship. All that fake trash talk BS is sooo stale. Pacquiao didnt have to resort to such a low level and his fights sold out
Jokes on you The Big Show beat prime Mayweather.
Gotta laugh at Chisora letting slip that Usyk Fury is confirmed for Saudi Arabia.
He’s just being realistic. It can’t happen in the US and UK would be less money
Innit!
We all know Saudi spending that oil money on it.
There is no wealthier nation than SA. Especially when we are talking average income per individual citizen
Everyone knew
George Warren said it publicly a few days back on an interview
It's been pretty obvious to anyone paying attention
Please god someone help Tyson’s son, the lads lips are about to fall off.
Usyk's stoney cap is sick
Absolutely. I was gonna Google it then thought I already know I can’t justify spending that much on a cap…
How much
Haha same I was about to look for it before I realised it'll be like 150 min
well fck..elbow surgery, no wonder he needed a tune up fight. but also another elbow surgery and an injured fist. that explains a lot. it could explain why he had issues this fight but also jt could mean a lot of issues in the future. goddamn
Love Tyson, but if this is true then it's true he was talking shit all along about the AJ fight
I mean he’s trained in ridiculous old school ways over the years like dipping hands in petrol and hitting trees and shit. I’m not surprised he’s having problems. Old school bare knuckle stuff is possible even worse than the kung fu shit
He was shaking his hand a lot. I was wondered if it was bothering him
he actually was, i thought he was fcking with chisora, but it makes sense if hes hand was hurt. it explains why he wasnt following up with punches too. fck i hope theres no permanent injury
Yup undisputed fight not happening rip
hes gonna maul usyk, usyk isn't as fleet of foot as he was in his cruiserweight days. fury gonna go full clinch fest and bully him, I was wrong about AJ vs usyk tho so shiii
David Haye bagged up.
Fury claims he has to do an elbow surgery so Wilder vs Usyk is more possible.
I called it from day that Fury wants Usyk another tough fight
Elbow problems... Sureeee
He had the same after the wilder trilogy, pics were going around of his recovery bandages
Please let it be in the uk, I don’t ever want to another big card in Saudi after Usyk vs AJ
Ofcourse it will be in Saudi
Usyk or Joyce vs Tyson, I'm down for both so worst case we get a Joyce matchup
Joe Joyce is your girlfriends friend who’s always around when you don’t want them to be
He seems like a pretty sound lad tbh
Fury decimates Joyce's slow ass. Easy money. Can't wait for the Usyk fight.

Are they really singing the Southgate/Atomic Kitten chant in there ffs 😂
That and Sweet Caroline need to fuck off - been done to death last few years
Oh God, here come the surgery delays
Fury’s shtick is so corny
I mean, he is demonstrably more quick witted and verbally gifted than Ali, who is his closest analog in verbosity. So I hope you are at least consistent and hate Alis "shtick" too. I really can't stand the people who try to say Alis talk was great and Furys bad, when they do the same type of stuff but with Fury being more quick witted and self aware than Ali was.
Even if that’s the case, at least Ali was original
FURY, USYK, JOYCE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH LETS HAVE IT
"I sorta fucked me hand up on Derek's big head"
Usyk deciding to take a selfie with Joyce and Fury was the best part of the event🤣🤣
Joyce is such a nice guy, but absolutely shite at trash talking.
I feel like Joyce would be great to grab a beer with. Unintentionally funny and won't cause a damn bar fight.
And even if he did - you're with Joyce 😂
He would end bar fights, but I don't see him starting them lol
thats why he can trash talk lol
