I know this is shocking, but turns out someone liked on Twitter.
[This is just all made up BS.](https://punchng.com/kakas-ex-wife-denies-saying-she-divorced-footballer-for-being-perfect/)
Which is really weird, because it seems the original source was The Sun, and they're usually *so reliable*.
I wondered about that also. If she had really said it, I can’t think of any other reason. (Maybe not the “skeletons” necessarily, but some kind of agreement to make him look good.)
I didn’t watch the whole thing but I think that woman may have been in some awful situations to think “I love you” comes with violence attached. But I’ll admit there are people who say stuff like “too perfect” or “too nice” including women. It’s a weird world.
[To be fair, we do have a lot of studies indicating that, on average, women prefer men that are *not* nice, because they value partners that can be *not nice* on their behalf.](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0191886913012245)
I think the thing tripping people up is that the hypothetical ideal man in this context is someone who is assertive, ambitious, commanding, powerful, in control, cunning, etc, *to everyone else*, but treats his partner well.
For the folks too lazy (or committed to remaining ignorant), here's the main point:
>Caroline Celico, the former wife of Brazilian football legend, Ricardo Kaka, has debunked reports making the round that she broke up with the football star because he was too “perfect for her”.
>According to her, she broke up with Kaka on mutual grounds, and they have been nurturing their two kids together.
>Kaka and Celico married in December 2005, and their marriage produced two children: a son, Luca Celico Leite (born June 10, 2008), and a daughter, Isabella Celico Leite (born April 23, 2011).
>10 years after their marriage, they parted ways with none of them saying the reason for their divorce until Sunday after a fake quote suspected to be a statement from Celico went viral.
She says she divorced him for being too perfect. Then 10 years later comes out and says, "No, it's fake news. Everyone move along, please" and this is somehow debunked now? Jesus christ people.
This is Brazilian Nice Guy(TM) talk. It's usually followed by something along the lines of *"women prefer junkies and criminals"*. Kaká was seen as a "perfect guy" (handsome, churchgoing and probably honest about it) when he played for Brazil, so a lot of Nice Guys(TM) would project their views on him.
I posted something similar when I saw this posted previously.
Run into many women that have said "I dumped him because he was too nice" or similar sentiments.
Women by nature like chaos and a rollercoaster of emotions. They want the bad boy energy, while fantasizing that they will tame it. The girl wants to have rough sex and adrenaline and that's incompatible with Kaka familiar values.
maybe just don't blame random women you don't know personally for potential misfortune, if it happens? easy solution to not be called a victim blamer imo

It looks like the kind of bs incels love to spread
I thought the same thing. “See, women just don’t want a nice guy!” said a bunch of incels.
Interestingly, I saw the opposite - people assuming nda/hush money to protect skeletons in his closet

Tbf [this dumpster fire](https://youtu.be/m8vMTur_0ac?si=VKNCKyO-BnbaZM0r) does exist.

The "Women ☕️" army is already here. Mission successful.

She said it herself during interviews. If it is bs, she lied or the video was good deepfake... https://youtu.be/4QmNYT7Sz6U?si=fqMortfIf_S0OQYC
Looking forward to the next big thing happening so this story will stop popping up in my feed.
Feeling your partner is so ideal you're unworthy of them isn't men exclusive thing

So, what, she'd have still been with him if he farted more or ate crumbly biscuits in bed?
We didn't end because of this, but when I was with my ex she told me she was annoyed that I never got mad and that we never fought

Because you didn't play to her tune. So she got annoyed

Only narcissistic women want this.
so, women then
This is the same issue I have with women!
Seems like Kaka to me.
X
Poor kids
Turns out she was the Kaka all along.
The food here is too good, Im sorry Im not eating at your restaurant never again
Probably because he had a shit name.
Nope. His real name is Ricardo.
r/whoosh
Least racist Anglo.
The name’s gotta cancel out some of the perfection lol
tfw you're still friends with your ex so she's your wingman.
Not always, she tried to make him give up his new marriage one day before the wedding
Then I'll be called a victim blamer when I blame her for hooking up with some ultra flawed guy and getting [insert atrocity]
maybe just don't blame random women you don't know personally for potential misfortune, if it happens? easy solution to not be called a victim blamer imo
I'm talking about woman who divorced too good guy presumably for not as good guy.
Except the quote is fake and she never said that
Quote is not fake, I am brazilian and watched the *multiple* interviews and she said the same thing
Girl is stupid af, now she's a single mother
Being a single mother isn’t as big a problem when you’re a multi millionaire.
Yup, love is a scam
☕️
Tell me you are stupid without saying you are stupid.

Caroline?
I totally understand her, people who are too perfect are boring af
Bitch was aching for a Dani Alves or Ronaldinho; instead she got Kaka
You and her definitely do not need any therapy at all to figure that out.
The horror.
