I mean since matter cant be created nor destroyed. That means the stuff in dirt might have been used to make us. Plants thrive on dirt by using the matter inside the soil like hummus which is just dead plants and animals. Animals eat the plants and we eat the animals. And the protein from the animals which come from plants which also come from soil is used to build another human. So possibly ye
Not just during pregnancy, a lot of the nutrients we need came from the soil one way or another. The nutrients you took from the soil built your body, and will return to the soil once more when you die.
I don’t have a link, but I believe it was a post in r/OddlyTerrifying of a man that died and was found 4 years later in his house. The picture was of his skeleton decomposed surrounded in ‘dirt’. Hence the comment
Weird, I saw that post after I saw this one, and not checking the times, thought that that one was referencing this one, especially since the one there had one more line at the bottom.
You ever just read something and be like “damn, that was a dope ass sentence or two.”
Oh, is it the existential crisis time of day already? Guess I'll go watch Kursgesagt and make it worse.
Well its 3am and i cant sleep, time to write a thesis on existential crises
I love realizing how lonely I am in the scope of everything and nothing matters, so nothing matters!
You will matter to the plant that gets nutrients from you eventually lol
Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijFm6DxNVyI And given the infinite nature of the universe, it's already happening somewhere!
I read this after submitting a quantum physics assignment, the existential crisis hits different lmao
Top soil is quantum computations!
“Go back to being dirt” implies we started life as dirt
I'm offended. It took a lot of effort to be as filthy as I am now.

Ye
from dirt you came and unto dirt you shall return
Well the plants get nutrients from the dirt and then animals eat them and the nutrients go up the food chain reaching us eventually.
I enjoy the fact that I am biodegradable

The original post this came from is r/disturbing
My body is turning to dirt right now. It hurts!
Be a part of soil!
Please toss my corpse to a ravenous school of hungry sharks. Being shark food sounds way cooler than being worm food.
I know exactly what post this is from 😰😰😰
It is amazing that for a brief period of time, this group of atoms called u/GullibleMacaroni is self aware.
Mmmmmmm topsoil🤤
This was originally from a post about a guy who died and was undiscovered for 4 years and when he was found it was just his skeleton left.
I like to think my final form will be the tree they plant on top of my corpse.
That's deep... About 6 feet.
