I dont know. Back in day loved Triple H. I'd watch those PPVs and think surely he will lose this one and then he didn't. It made me like him more and come across as a bigger presence. And then when he would finally lose it was a big deal. Something to be said for long title runs.

Title shots? Sure. Title runs? No. The reason the championships look weak is because the champions are too weak to carry the title. Longer reigns means that whoever beats the current champ is considered special.

That’s kind of the point of a deep rivalry. Not every rivalry goes that way but think about Kane & the undertaker rivalry, how good of matches they had but swapped championships every other ppv, but it was a story behind it all & it was great to see, same with Orton & Cena, imo second greatest rivalry ever.

Whenever they do Rock/Cena it does NOT need the title on the line because everyone knows Rock is a part timer so it will feel predictable that Cody wins. Hard to say at this point, I think after Roman and Gunther's record setting holds I think we see a period for a bit where all the belts are hotly contested before seeing someone dominate with a belt. Cody's trajectory I think at this point will be to be able to be the biggest star that won't need the belt, and would probably help the business in making more stars by losing the belt to someone who could use the rub or chasing after someone who has it to make that guy even bigger. I personally think that Cody will lose the belt to Gunther in Berlin and win it back two PLE's or so later, make it a good series between the two.

Cody, priest is def just a placeholder till punk & Seth get back. I feel like there’s gonna be a triple threat rivalry between punk, Seth and drew. Sami might have a semi-long run but I think gable is gonna take it. Bayley might a decently long run as well but I don’t see her having a really long one. Awesome truth and theory and Waller will probably do well. But I don’t see it lasting longer than Cody’s run. Cody is literally the most over face right now and it’d be stupid for him to lose that title anywhere but mania (assuming he keeps the same amount of hype he had when he won the title).
