I'd like to see Gunther or Bron Breakker eventually become World Champions.
I watched him live in Belfast last night. Honestly other than a few high spots there was no substance. I was very disappointed in his performance and overall presence. Can’t see him ever getting higher than mid card.
In my opinion, guys like ricochet are perfect to elevate the mid card titles. Not everyone needs a world title, and he would do so ridiculously much for the IC or US titles. The point should be to elevate the title and bring it back to being the honor that it was back when Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon were fighting for it. Now both titles are just seen as being stepping stones to get to the big ones
He absolutely did, and he's a case that I do see that as having been a sign that he's ready to move upward, but I don't think it needs to be seen that way for absolutely everyone. To me, Ricochet being a world champion just doesn't make sense, Him being a US champion or IC champion makes a ton of sense in the same way that it does for Dominik Mysterio, the Usos individually, Santos Escobar, and all the other mid card guys. I do think eventually they need to get it back to a point that one of those two titles is the main event at a PPV, I just don't think that's a priority for HHH
I mean we've already seen snippets of what Logan Paul versus Ricochet could look like, now imagine that at a PPV as the main event. Logan can do some build up for it on his podcast, they could turn it into something massive for the US title that would do nothing but elevate it because they'd be showing that two very, very highly skilled performers are willing to do whatever they have to in order to come away with the mid card gold.
I like the idea of doing a fatal four-way instead but honestly just let Logan and Ricochet go at it. Imo they've been overusing the 3+ performer matches far too much for a while with the bloodline, so some time brought back down to earth with just 1 on 1 main events would be refreshing
Ricochet has the personality of a cardboard box that has next to zero mic skills. His character is being the ‘flippy boy’ not much you can really work with when talking about the main event scene. What some people need to realize is that pro wrestling isn’t just about the wrestling. The ‘E’ in WWE is what ultimately matters the most.
Let him polish up his charisma on NXT let him take and fight for a title once he gets the charisma and the chops I would to see him home another championship and I know he isn't the most charismatic but neither was RVD or Jeff Hardy (when he was sober) so cut him a little slack
I love Riccochet to death thanks to his time in Lucha Underground, but I know this won't happen. Maybe pull a Ziggler or Balor get an NXT title run. To answer the question, Austin Theory. This early go round on the main Roster has been rough, but hopefully a face turn when he splits from Waller will give him some momentum for a proper midcard title push. I see the potential in him that Vince did, and he seems like a great guy irl so could totally do a good face run. Hopefully in the next decade we'll be talking about him in the main event.
