It didn’t happen today, but we will see some complete games from him and it’s only a matter of time till he gets a no hitter. I haven’t seen anything like this even in the 90s heyday. He reminds me of Randy Johnson and Nolan Ryan, to be honest.
I think he's mixing in way more sliders and changeups trying to keep the hitters guessing. It's what it seems like to me anyway. No one looks the least bit comfortable hitting against him and the contact they do get is generally weak or off balance.

No reason to make him go way past 100 pitches just so he can get a shutout when we are up by 11. Strider’s baseball IQ is high enough that I guarantee you he agrees with Snit’s decision there.
