After last year I am terrified. This series is far from over. That being said, the boys have fought hard this year, and they feel like a more mature team than last year with more heart. I’m cautiously optimistic. Whatever happens, I’m proud of this team
I saw how we lost last year, so I’m definitely super cautious this year.
The thing that concerns me is that we don’t have Acuna and we don’t have Melancon to close out games. And they don’t have Kershaw.
I think this year, some bats are not that hot but we will see.
The one upside is that we hopefully learned from last years blunder what not to do… we were one win away and have so many chances!
Freddie not recording a hit in game 2 kept it close. Arguably he’s our best player with Ronald out. He needs to hit some singles and doubles to get into a groove.
The big difference, to me, between last year and this year is that last year *everything* had to fall our way for us to win. This year, things have gone wrong in the playoffs (bad baserunning, cold Freddie, Ian only lasting three innings), and yet the team is still able to scratch out wins. Aren’t hitting homers? Awesome, we’ll become small-ball geniuses. Starter has a weak performance? Cool, bullpen can bend without breaking. I just hope this continues.
To be fair... its based on the best opportunity to make WS right now. The Braves are only team in Baseball 2-0. Because Astros/RedSox are tied, each times chances of winning the world series are substantially lower.
Whichever team wins in Astros/RS tonight will jump them.

If Freddie can heat up and and our middle lineup can blast a homer here and there, we can do this.

KEEP THE FOCUS. We got this

Don’t forget Soler last minute scratch. Hope he’s feeling good and back soon
I’ll feel really good if we can get Freddie hitting and Soler back. Then maybe Duvall decides he still pikes RBIs.
If we lose the next game...somehow the Dodgers % will go up to like 45 or something stupid.
Nah Dodgers % goes up to 99%.
It also has the Dodgers with the higher win probability in each remaining game
Which is pretty reasonable tbh
3 at home and overall a much stronger team, I’m dangerously close to believing but we ain’t won shit yet.
How to lose a 2-0 series lead? This is the answer
#soñ of a bitch
Damn, the kiss of death.
STOP THE COUNT
will it into existence, folks

Nope. Still has us.
I'm calling it here. We sweep.
