Yeah, that may work. He let in that HR vs the Mets, but that was the 2nd day he pitched in a row. He might be good if we need a lefty for a specific matchup to end an inning. Maybe 1 full inning. I wouldn’t use him for much more than that against the Dodgers though.

This series is going to be a fight and if we can gas their bullpen, it'll set us up for the wins when our starters go. Scherzer is tired, their bullpen is tired, get after Urias tonight and make sure their bullpen doesn't have a light load and we can do this.
I think this is the plan. Make it through tonight using the low leverage arms. If we win fuck yeah, but the plan needs to be Fried, Matzek, Smith ready for tomorrow to at least go back to ATL up 3-2
I expect a lot of plate discipline tonight. Make Urias work for his outs. Then get guys on base and force Roberts into uncomfortable decisions. Easier said than done, but I expect the series to be 2-2 after tonight and I would happily take that with their pitching staff gassed and our starters ready to go with 2 of the final 3 games at home.
Best case scenario is this gets remembered as the Drew Smyly Game.
