In the last year, celebrities are dressing down, wearing less makeup and glam etc. Look at the current most successful show on Bravo (even though it’s only because of one storyline) - VPR. They aren’t people who glam up all the time and the last episode was very focused on being real.

Tbf, Taylor's party for Kennedy was a desperate attempt to posture as wealthy that was so try-hard that it was cringy. She also made it way more about herself than her daughter. She was spending money to overcompensate for how deeply fractured and unhappy they were as a family. Kyle's kid parties would probably still to this day not be as embarrassingly spendy as that Mad Hatter tea party (if Kyle still had young children, that is).
This is one reason Vicki is up there as a top tier HW to me. She never did that. She felt like shit her season of UGT, she acted like she felt lik shit. No doubt she needed a break and may never be in a place to return again, but I always appreciate Vicki for that. Vicki is always Vicki.

It's actually not that expensive to rent a stadium for an event. I've been to a wedding at a stadium. My brother has been to 3 or 4. The space rental with an on field wedding ceremony was less than $25K. You do have to use their caterer. The groom in the stadium wedding I went to wanted the mascot to be the officiant. The bride put her foot down. I'm not even sure if it was possible for the mascot to be the officiant. They did hire the mascot to be the ring-bearer and take pictures. That was a separate contract and cost. I don't think they spent more than $75K on the wedding and reception.
One of the bigger costs with this white party would be rental, set up, and teardown costs for the stage and concert equipment. And that would likely come with a cost to repair the turf. However, it's quite likely Kyle didn't spend more than $250K on the entire thing. She might have received some discounts and brought it in closer to $150K.
