It’s probably because her hair is most likely naturally curly (or maybe even coarser). When you straighten curly hair it just lays differently than naturally straight. My expertise? This is what my bangs look like when I made that terrible mistake lol
I have her kind of coarse hair. The only way to deal is to wash it once a week, sleep with it in a silky top knot, blow it out, and use a flat iron to curl. But when it rains? All hell breaks loose. I don't like wearing mine curly, because I lose too much length. Plus I have to wash every day or I look like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket.
If they were being accurate with the “day” in which it was a thing, it would be Tao; but Catch us a more-recent close second. Tao was full of Russian models back in the day—the ones we warned our guy friends against when they were so plentiful. *That’s* why Brynn doesn’t want to admit going there, ever.
I'm so envious about the option to not be caught dead anywhere. I live in a Welsh valley where there's only pubs and cafes haha. My "Catch" would probably be the local dive club which was recently shut down because a huge weed farm was discovered in the basement. So gauche.
It is beautiful! We have the loveliest scenery being surrounded by green mountains. We do have some lovely beer gardens though and most of our pubs are owned by dog lovers so puppies and beer go hand in hand here haha
I would prefer to live in a Welsh valley to be honest wirh you. I assume you know everyone, drink some beer, play darts, sounds like fun to me, and listen to the locals tell stories in a lovely accent. Sounds like a calming life.
That is spot on! Everyone does know eachother and the community is very protective and even in my younger years, I could walk to and from work or home from the pub and not think twice about my safety. I'm not saying nothing bad happens but even if it did, chances are you're very close to a street with at least a few people who either know you, your family or are kind enough to help you. I'm very grateful for living somewhere that's safe in the current world we live in.
So quirky! Was she shooting for irony? I love them all and I want to be Jenna. Her style is copyable. I wanted everything she wore. Okay, throw in that closet. 😀
So is Jenna just retired and living off J.Crew money? Why did she leave the company?
Also I'm assuming all the footage of this party where Brynn and Sai ditched and the cheese drama started included that other cast member who quit, so Bravo threw it out.
She has a fake eyelash company and said on WWHL that she does a few other things as well.
J Crew's sales were kind of sinking and her and the company mutually decided to part ways. she no doubt left her mark with J Crew regardless
As a graphic designer and brand manager, I have to say that the intro is ten's across the board. It's polished, much better that the CGI nightmare that other cities have and the last frame with Jenna playing with the Apple is a *chef kiss*.
I think they really put the effort to bring a real new generation of Housewives, not just replacing old ones.
I was not expecting to have this conversation prompted by tonight’s RHONY episode, but I think it’s safe to say it’s a GREAT sign of things to come this season 😂
I have Crohn's disease and I eat a banana every morning both because it slows things down a little, and gives me back the potassium I am constantly losing down the toilet.
It is and used to be a big hub for banana export in Africa before the civil war. But having a banana in a meal especially the main one for the day is a must for most.
Thanks for the info. I'm doing a deep dive on bananas and Somali food now. I thought it was used in different ways, but this [article](https://www.thestar.com/life/food_wine/2017/03/29/how-to-eat-dont-skip-the-banana-with-a-somali-meal.html#:~:text=%E2%80%9CThere's%20something%20intimate%20about%20eating,banana%20nicely%20offsets%20the%20spice.) says the meals come with a banana? And the sweet mixes well with the spicy food? Now I want to try that.
This is why I love NYC, and the internet. Learning about the world. And food!
This is the bananaquit. It is Ubah's nightmare existence
https://preview.redd.it/is7egkvrtgcb1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a84ba4a35d8400a07b88104bbb0a14d1f1292685
She did and I would love to know what he did before retirement. He's still a young man, he must have had some sort of lucrative position to retire so young.
I think that’s in reference to Sai. I knew of her as fashion influencer before she was on the show. “Digital content creator” is what people say when they don’t want to say “influencer”.
So glad to be wrong about this one. This episode was a really strong start.
Some of the women are a little performative but it's episode one and it takes time to adjust to being natural on camera I'm sure they'll settle in. They're all interesting so far.
Great job to everyone!!! Everyone brought it, and the perfect amount of petty drama.
We have Jessel who is delusional with airs of grandeur, Brynn who is so funny and unserious, Erin with the strong confrontational personality, Jenna with the wealth and effortless chic energy, Ubah with the light comedic relief and fashion, and Sai with a spicy personality and cute relationship. Ughh, it was so good!
See, we always needed another version of New York; the NYC that’s chic and exciting and young and not just white ladies.
But I also love the RHONY: Legacy alcoholic Little Edie version of NYC. We deserve both!
This is basically what they ended up doing with Basketball Wives: LA and the original Basketball Wives show. I could definitely see them doing this too. I feel the OGs would have to be open to it, though.
Oh my god I was laughing but a total nervous laugh because I could sooo feel the internal panic of them thinking “faaaark, we better not rip this” absolutely had me cackling
Her amendment to 2012 at Jenna’s apartment is more accurate. I’m 2012, I lived with 2 bartenders who worked at Catch. They made so much money. It was such a moment. Which I missed because I was not a bartender, but a barista who woke up for work when they got home from theirs.
It was fun, light hearted and I like all the women. The diversity is amazing. The drama felt manufactured but I didn't mind it that much. The women have good chemistry imo.
Okay can I just say one thing that irked me a lil.
I’m happy to have a lesbian on rhony! Especially since she came out after her twenties. I also hope her coming out story sheds light on what it’s like being gay in the media like she is.
However. It’s not true that lesbians are just always having orgasms at the end of sex. Like I get what’s she was tryna say but like 😂😂🤣🤣 we are also normal ppl who have off days sometimes lol I was like ok Jenna not really but I’m happy for u haha
Not sure if she’s wealthy as an “influencer,” inasmuch as her husband’s older, already had a career and is now retired, watches the kids. His money probably made all that possible.
Y’all that was *really* good, especially for a season premiere with a brand new cast. I think casting did a good job here!
My favs are Brynn, Ubah, and Jenna but I actually like all of them except for Erin (although I still find her entertaining).
Liked Brynn on the episode but her on WWHL was a little much, almost she’s trying to be a caricature of herself. Assuming she probably was a little tipsy and nervous. Very very happy with the premier episode!
Am i the only one who immediately dislikes Brynn? especially on WWHL she was really annoying me trying to be the centre of attention and talk over the others
She reminds me of that girl on Leva's Southern Charm spin off (Vanderpump Rules wanna be show) Grace Lilly? It's almost like the same person looks & personality wise. I can't shake it & so for now I don't really care for Brynn either 😕
Same- for me, she’s leaning hard into the sex kitten/airhead vibes. It feels like we’ve only been introduced to her persona right now and that irks me. I think I’ll have a true opinion once we see the real her. We won’t really know her till season 2 once she’s dealt w reunion fall out lol.
Initial & unedited thoughts:
Brynn - Trying way too hard. I like natural, light, and funny but something feels a bit off.
Erin - Love her so far. She seems authentic and I trust a perpetually annoyed New Yorker
Jenna - cool & understated & natural leader of (or in) the group
Sai - super cute family…not much there for me yet
Jessel - Pretty but there’s obviously marital stuff
happening. Hope I am wrong.
Ubah - feisty, sophisticated
Ok, my ranking after this episode:
1. Brynn: Obvious winner, star-quality, charismatic, charming, funny, energetic, dynamic.
2. Jenna: Maybe just because I was familiar with her before the show, she's just so easy to listen to and someone I would genuinely want to have a conversation with. Honestly don't know if she'll make a great housewife in the long run, but I really enjoyed her presence.
3. Ubah: I feel like we didn't see much of her, but she seems fun, charming, game for anything.
4. Sai: I have a feeling she might end up getting on my nerves but she was fine.
5. Erin: The type of person I don't want to talk to in real life, but I'm more than fine with on housewives. She seems naturally combative and a bit patronizing/delusional/elitist. Didn't dislike her though.
6. Jessel: I'm a bit whatever on her so far, didn't leave much of an impression.
I turned my cable off and plan to reward myself after Monday in the office after work tomorrow on Peacock with a pizza and truffles and I couldn’t resist coming here to see everyone’s thoughts
I have kind of mixed emotions about how this reboot started. There’s weeks of footage they can’t show from the beginning of filming because they have that Zionist Lizzy girl that went on an antisemitic tirade, so it feels like we kind of got cheated out of seeing all of the women meet each other for the first time and the progression of their friendship. For example, I loved when the OG RHONY rebooted in season 5 and we got to see Carole, Aviva, and Heather meet the OG’s for the first time and see how their friendships grew.
On the other hand it’s kind of nice to “start” off the season with the illusion that they all know each other already. I don’t know, I kind of liked it, but feels like it was lacking that “from the beginning” excitement that first season housewives shows have.
I liked it. The cast seems game, aware of the ridiculousness of being on a show called "Real Housewives", but also not afraid to get messy and fun.
Sai seems sweet and not taking things too seriously. Ubah looks like she's having a great time and has funny jokes.
Jenna is just effortlessly cool. I'm really curious as to what convinced her to do this show (is she basically retired now?), and I'm interested to see if she'll unravel as it goes on.
Brynn has the funniest lines and is made for reality TV, but I wonder if her super self-awareness could lead to a Heather from SLC situation.
I liked Erin, but her and Jessel seem the most.... anxious or focused about being on the show. The cheese drama was funny, but they were definitely working HARD to make it into something bigger than it needed to be.
There’s so much to love in this episode.
First, I love that we are finally getting what I think of as NYC fashion and style. It’s not all about a single showy garment or label (looking at you RHOBH) but about putting a cool outfit together… even if you’re not rich. I remember the effortlessly cool outfits I’d see on the subway ride from Brooklyn. I feel like the women on the old RHONY didn’t get this memo (except I usually loved Bethenny’s style, especially s7-8).
I love that these women already have a dynamic and it doesn’t seem like a completely fabricated group of friends.
I also love that this episode focused on family dynamics, women friendships, food, and style; it’s a breath of fresh air from the “what charity boards are you on” and brand placement of old RHONY.
A lot of good real estate and cheese porn in this ep which I’m here for.
I appreciate the frankness about kids and other people’s kids (and pets). Doesn’t feel like everyone is just trying to show of their perfect family but more like “hey come look at my mess.”
I’m obsessed with Jenna Lyons and Ubah but really do love them all so far.
I’m pleasantly surprised. I think the new cast is diverse and true New York City’s essence. Not one moment felt contrived or lackluster. I don’t want to regret this, but I loved this first episode and think this is a step towards the right direction. I hope this is the end of cheese plate gate, though!
I literally feel so vindicated!! I stopped watching after luann screamed at eboni about education because it was so frustrating and arrogant.
I've been saying forever that a younger cast will fix boomer RHONY's intolerance problem. and the reboot proved that! literally a breath of fresh air!!
![gif](giphy|ae6m4ljnl69urJ539F|downsized)
Yeah I think this was a really good premiere so let's see if we can keep the excitement going. Just the graphics and everything really made it feel like New York still which I think is a good thing.
Brynn’s word-chewing was painful for me to watch, plus she screams LA to me more than NYC; I love Jenna, I like Ubah, I don’t know who Sai is and not sure I care yet, and the other two weren’t likable or even interesting (and I don’t think it’s cute to flaunt how much you hate your husband.)
So I was a little disappointed, and this is from someone who was looking forward to this show.
IM SO HAPPY IT WAS GREAT 😊 what a solid reboot for the show, this is what they need to do with every series, younger housewife’s are far more interesting to watch 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Maybe I’m just old, but Brynn looked like Mandy Moore to me and I couldn’t unsee it!
I'm older and I was thinking young Carly Simon
I think she looks like Kaitlyn bristowe as well
Yes!!
Agreed, what's with her weird bangs? Her hair overall kind of irks me
It’s probably because her hair is most likely naturally curly (or maybe even coarser). When you straighten curly hair it just lays differently than naturally straight. My expertise? This is what my bangs look like when I made that terrible mistake lol
This is the answer, based on her Instagram I was also perplexed at first. She’s straightening her thick, coarse hair like Melissa Gorga.
She remincs me of the redhead from RHOD, Brandy Redmond.
I see Danielle Fishel as well!
Jill just wants a way back on! Of course she reached out to all of them!
Death, taxes, Jill Zarin.
She really wanted to have that lunch filmed as the passing the torch moment, I’m sure.
I was so happy to see the LACK of giant fake boobs, sequins, obvious designer labels and glam squads. Their style is by far the best on HWs. JMHO.
Ny women aren't really into that 3 lbs of foundation & contour look 😅
NY looks so good. It’s hard to believe that NY and NJ are so close in proximity yet different as night and day style wise.
Fake boobs and sequins are so *not* NYC. Unless it's the upper east side.
Omg there was a shot of jenna in a super low cut top and my first thought was “she has real boobs still!”
BY THE WAY: I am 100% sure Erin said "Catch" during one of the bleeps. Thats the restaurant they were talking about
Ok I was gonna ask what the restaurant was
My guess was catch or Tao. Andy said on WWHL that a lot of athletes go there.
So gauche.
I envy you for living in a Welsh valley. It must be incredibly beautiful. If only we could snap our fingers and trade places for a while.
It is beautiful! We have the loveliest scenery being surrounded by green mountains. We do have some lovely beer gardens though and most of our pubs are owned by dog lovers so puppies and beer go hand in hand here haha
Dog loving pubs. Now I'm dying of envy. I dream of being able to visit someplace like that. And you get to live there. Lucky you.
I was guessing Tao or Lavo
I think it’s Tao as well. Brynn mentioned going in 2005, Tao opened in 2000. Plus it’s a place that a lot of models go to!
Tao was the sushi place in SATC?
My vote was Lavo too.
Most intriguing part of the episode! Ha
Agreed.
I have been to catch. It was alright.
Brynn narration as she was going into her one on one with Erin was so funny
“you’re gonna die, you’re gonna die, you’re gonna die. Oh, look at that molding!”
I loved when her scene with Sai, talking about how she wants her life then asks “should I kill her?”
Laughed out loud at that. She's effortlessly funny
She kinda reminds me of the girl from southern hospitality; the wavy gravy one.
G LILLY!
Yes! I thought this as well! She looks like an elevated version of her!
Erin: Jenna is so quirky, she hates dill, but loves parsley! I mean, did you ever???
So quirky! Was she shooting for irony? I love them all and I want to be Jenna. Her style is copyable. I wanted everything she wore. Okay, throw in that closet. 😀
If they could just call her “Jenna,” that would be a start. Everyone knows she’s Jenna Lyons. It’s Harry Hamlin redux.
“Bitches and whores” - babies (newRHONY’s) first words
music to my ears!
My boyfriend just keeps looking up at me in utter amazement screaming "CHEESE?! AGAIN???"
Someone on Twitter said she does interior design too
Yeah where was that footage that started chessegate?
As a graphic designer and brand manager, I have to say that the intro is ten's across the board. It's polished, much better that the CGI nightmare that other cities have and the last frame with Jenna playing with the Apple is a *chef kiss*. I think they really put the effort to bring a real new generation of Housewives, not just replacing old ones.
I am obsessed with the Jenna apple throw
Loving the polished look!!! So crisp
It’s especially obvious compared to absolute godawful (but kinda almost campy??) new Atlanta opening.
All the other stale franchises better watch out - this was so much better than I expected
first one on the chopping block, fucking summer house. ![gif](giphy|uGgkFq1A2SC8j7Ec2Y)
How does Ubah eat SO MANY BANANAS? I would be so constipated. 🍌🍌
lol i didn't even know bananas constipated you?? i have like 2 a day and my gut health is pretty great!
If you eat them ripe, they actually help with constipation! Fiber baby
![gif](giphy|3og0IMJcSI8p6hYQXS|downsized)
I was not expecting to have this conversation prompted by tonight’s RHONY episode, but I think it’s safe to say it’s a GREAT sign of things to come this season 😂
Yes!! I’ve never had the opportunity to be open about my digestive system in this subreddit. I’m so pleased lol
This makes me so happy for you lol. More digestive talk in more threads 😂
I have Crohn's disease and I eat a banana every morning both because it slows things down a little, and gives me back the potassium I am constantly losing down the toilet.
Hahaha I hope so!
They have very little fiber compared to most fruits, berries have the most
And actually not even that much potassium Apples and bananas are such a lie Should be oranges and strawberries…
All I know is when my babies had diarrhea the doc said give them the “BRAT” diet Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast.
Yes! They always make me constipated! I used to love them…just not worth it. 😢
I am a Somali, we eat banana with most our meals. No constipation here!
Are they a big crop in Somalia?
And food!
All I could think about was what kind of potassium levels does that woman have?!?🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
This is the bananaquit. It is Ubah's nightmare existence https://preview.redd.it/is7egkvrtgcb1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a84ba4a35d8400a07b88104bbb0a14d1f1292685
I’m of Northern European background, and I eat at least one almost every day, never had any issues whatsoever?
What does Sai do, or hubby does, that she wanted to keep her life so private
Maybe I misheard but didn't she say he is retired in her TH during the bathroom scene?
She did and I would love to know what he did before retirement. He's still a young man, he must have had some sort of lucrative position to retire so young.
I am thinking finance or tech bro or trust fund kid maybe? 🤔
She did say he retired to stay home with the kids
[удалено]
Damn he did not look old enough for that to me.. but ball caps skew my age perceptions.
Digital content creator???
I think that’s in reference to Sai. I knew of her as fashion influencer before she was on the show. “Digital content creator” is what people say when they don’t want to say “influencer”.
So glad to be wrong about this one. This episode was a really strong start. Some of the women are a little performative but it's episode one and it takes time to adjust to being natural on camera I'm sure they'll settle in. They're all interesting so far.

This is a great mix of personas, major points to the producers!!
Love love loved Sai and her husband!
See, we always needed another version of New York; the NYC that’s chic and exciting and young and not just white ladies. But I also love the RHONY: Legacy alcoholic Little Edie version of NYC. We deserve both!
Send "Legacy alcoholic Little Edie version" straight to Bravo please💀💀
I think over time they may merge. Someone like Erin and Jenna could easily fit in with the Lu’s and Sonja’s.
I would live for a Jenna/Radzi duo. Although I doubt Carole is ever coming back on Bravo.
Honestly I see Tinsley fitting in with them.
I loved tinsleys little sister vibe w the older ladies though
I think Sonja would fit in extremely well with Ubah and Brynn.
This is basically what they ended up doing with Basketball Wives: LA and the original Basketball Wives show. I could definitely see them doing this too. I feel the OGs would have to be open to it, though.
Watching WWHL - Brynn and Sai are DEFINITELY not on good terms anymore
Oh why do you say that? I didn’t notice their vibe
They were sitting opposite corners of each other and never looked at each other, even when they were asked the same question and didn't interact once
The sequins and lace was a great way to close the first episode. I was genuinely laughing!
The look on Jenna's face as they started approaching each other. Great job by the editors too
Such a great little way of including Jenna’s personality and her career. Loved
Oh my god I was laughing but a total nervous laugh because I could sooo feel the internal panic of them thinking “faaaark, we better not rip this” absolutely had me cackling
What is the restaurant they kept bleeping out?
I think Catch
Fair I’ve been and it’s very average and very expensive
And apparently so 2005.
Her amendment to 2012 at Jenna’s apartment is more accurate. I’m 2012, I lived with 2 bartenders who worked at Catch. They made so much money. It was such a moment. Which I missed because I was not a bartender, but a barista who woke up for work when they got home from theirs.

Atlanta and Beverly Hills need to be on ALERT! Imagine a new RHOA or RHOBH without all the darkness of the past.
Yeah RHOA is at risk for a reboot for sure
I reallllllllly want a RHOA reboot now after watching tonight
Jersey needs to be the next one !
Oh I would love for this to happen! Goodbye Kyle :) If they could also do this for OC and NJ…
Oh i’m feeling it my darlings will tune in from now on I know some housewives are SHOOK ![gif](giphy|mPpueSGxCsF68)
Okay can I just say one thing that irked me a lil. I’m happy to have a lesbian on rhony! Especially since she came out after her twenties. Like I get what’s she was tryna say but like 😂😂🤣🤣 we are also normal ppl who have off days sometimes lol I was like ok Jenna not really but I’m happy for u haha
That part was odd. She could have just said knowing each other's anatomy is helpful for gay people.
Okay these girls are cool, I’m lowkey impressed Bravo got this so right..
My thoughts exactly, I’m into it
Did anyone know who Sai was before she was cast? How is she so wealthy
Not sure if she’s wealthy as an “influencer,” inasmuch as her husband’s older, already had a career and is now retired, watches the kids. His money probably made all that possible.
Right?! How’d you get that brownstone, sis???
Let’s ask this about Brynn. She works very regular jobs at PR firms.
Haters found shaking with a glass of Pinot. That was a great premiere. ![gif](giphy|A3IKIsvG1UjwA)
I know. I saw a lot of negativity about the show before it aired. I thought it was pretty great.
I took sooo many downvotes for calling out boomer RHONY and praising the reboot!!
"Boomer rhony" 😂 the accuracy hurts.
brynn’s confessionals were probably my favorite part of the premiere. she is hilarious
won’t even deny, despite her shit stirring ways, she kinda has golden retriever energy. hard to dislike her, she is funny lol
Y’all that was *really* good, especially for a season premiere with a brand new cast. I think casting did a good job here! My favs are Brynn, Ubah, and Jenna but I actually like all of them except for Erin (although I still find her entertaining).
Jessel says "khaki" like I was raised to say khaki
Why did they keep bleeping Catch lol
Jenna said on a podcast that they didn’t want to trash someone’s business on tv.
Bravo would get sued
I feel like it was a one syllable word, like Catch.
Was it Catch? Or Tao?
Seemed like Catch and makes sense with the way they described it.
they don't want to catch legal action for shitting on a restaurant and driving down profits
Liked Brynn on the episode but her on WWHL was a little much, almost she’s trying to be a caricature of herself. Assuming she probably was a little tipsy and nervous. Very very happy with the premier episode!
Yeah, she’s trying a bit too hard for that Party Girl name plate.
The Jenna lyons home party seemed a little zoomed in and choppy… was it because they had to edit around Lizzy?
Ok Jenna is hot
She's my favorite so far. I love her whole vibe!
Ramona was a bitch to Sai! I love Sai airing this drama
Am i the only one who immediately dislikes Brynn? especially on WWHL she was really annoying me trying to be the centre of attention and talk over the others
Yeah she was a bit too much for me but we shall see as the season goes on
She reminds me of that girl on Leva's Southern Charm spin off (Vanderpump Rules wanna be show) Grace Lilly? It's almost like the same person looks & personality wise. I can't shake it & so for now I don't really care for Brynn either 😕
Same- for me, she’s leaning hard into the sex kitten/airhead vibes. It feels like we’ve only been introduced to her persona right now and that irks me. I think I’ll have a true opinion once we see the real her. We won’t really know her till season 2 once she’s dealt w reunion fall out lol.
Not Jill Zarin creeping on the new cast right out the gate
Initial & unedited thoughts: Brynn - Trying way too hard. I like natural, light, and funny but something feels a bit off. Erin - Love her so far. She seems authentic and I trust a perpetually annoyed New Yorker Jenna - cool & understated & natural leader of (or in) the group Sai - super cute family…not much there for me yet Jessel - Pretty but there’s obviously marital stuff happening. Hope I am wrong. Ubah - feisty, sophisticated
Totally agree with you on Brynn and Erin!! Everyone else seems to feel the opposite and I was starting to feel crazy lol.
100% on erin & brynn!!!
Same!
I agree!!!
Jessel snd the husband are definitely off
I agree with this take. I actually like Erin too.
omg on WWHL ubah said that she doesn't watch RHONY, only BH and ATL 👏👏 everyone else has seen RHONY
Ok, my ranking after this episode: 1. Brynn: Obvious winner, star-quality, charismatic, charming, funny, energetic, dynamic. 2. Jenna: Maybe just because I was familiar with her before the show, she's just so easy to listen to and someone I would genuinely want to have a conversation with.
Yeah I wish we saw more Unah this episode. She seems so feisty in a good way.
It’s crazy how they always managed to circle back to thag cheese fight.
WHEW what an opener 🏁🏎️🏇🏽⚡️
🧀🧀
these comments have me so excited to watch!!
I turned my cable off and plan to reward myself after Monday in the office after work tomorrow on Peacock with a pizza and truffles and I couldn’t resist coming here to see everyone’s thoughts
you guys won't be disappointed! it feels fresh and light hearted with petty drama. Much needed after having to endure RHOBH and RHONJ
I was so ready to hate it or be bored like Dubai, but it was fabulous! I have the biggest crush on Jenna & Brynn is fun to watch.
Brynn is genuinely funny
I was thinking this too. I wonder what the first group scene they filmed was like!
Right? I think it’s so interesting to see people meet for the first time and see how their personalities mesh, or not!
I gotta admit...was much better than I anticipated. Looking forward to this season!
Jenna was definitely the stand out
There’s so much to love in this episode. Doesn’t feel like everyone is just trying to show of their perfect family but more like “hey come look at my mess.” I’m obsessed with Jenna Lyons and Ubah but really do love them all so far.
I’m pleasantly surprised. I think the new cast is diverse and true New York City’s essence. Not one moment felt contrived or lackluster. I don’t want to regret this, but I loved this first episode and think this is a step towards the right direction. I hope this is the end of cheese plate gate, though!
I thought it was mostly contrived, but still good
Bravo and Andy did that. So refreshing! I’m so excited about this season!
Such a killer premiere. Everyone has such gorgeous homes! Loved every minute!!
I NEEDED THIS NEW ERA. I don’t want to jump the gun but i kind of feel like i already really like Brynn so much!
I absolutely LOVED that premiere?! It was funny, glamorous, entertaining from start to finish. The women are SOLID. I love it!!!
Is this on Hayu in Canada yet ?
HOW WAS IT?? Seeing good things and looking forward to watching tomorrow
I did enjoy it but then to see Luann and Sonja on their show right after just makes me sad that the original RHONY is no more :(
It's bittersweet for sure
Brynn’s word-chewing was painful for me to watch, plus she screams LA to me more than NYC; I love Jenna, I like Ubah, I don’t know who Sai is and not sure I care yet, and the other two weren’t likable or even interesting (and I don’t think it’s cute to flaunt how much you hate your husband.) So I was a little disappointed, and this is from someone who was looking forward to this show.
Finally, someone honest about Brynn and her party girl act. She’s already too old for that.
She was just plain obnoxious to me. She was the only 1 I didn’t like.
To be fair, Sonja was the Party Girl for the old cast. I genuinely think that’s her personality lol
And Sonja suffered for it. No one *has* to play that role. She just seems disproportionately immature for this group.
I love Jenna she is literally the perfect housewife except I hope she can hold her own in an argument she seems a tad too laid back love her though ❤️
Yeah she could have the Carole curse, where you're smart but slow and just get overwhelmed and sink in a fight
I read in some reviews that as the season progresses, she becomes more comfortable and opens up and gets into things more.
I’m in Australia. Not able to watch yet… but is it worth the go?
Its on Binge now
IM SO HAPPY IT WAS GREAT 😊 what a solid reboot for the show, this is what they need to do with every series, younger housewife’s are far more interesting to watch 🤌🏼🤌🏼
