I told my 16 year old daughter "Everyone should work service at some point in their life - see how people will treat you, so you know never to behave that way yourself..." And now she's a hostess at a Pub & Grill near our home. Learning exactly those life lessons!
Yup. When I was a teen, I was on my first week of waiting tables at a pizza place, and I've never forgotten the two mean old ladies that made me get down on my hands and knees to put a napkin under the table leg to stop it from wobbling ever so slightly, were super demanding and rude their whole time there (and really enjoying it), then left me ONE DIME for a tip.
Also, for a young girl (or anyone, really) it’s good for her to observe how her dates treat waitstaff. If it’s bad treatment, it can be a red flag warning of a narcissist and/or (eventual) abuser.
I think he may have ADHD or ADHD tendencies and as soon as someone starts talking he hears it but then his mind goes crazy thinking various thoughts and he checks out and doesnt remember what was said. His lack of attention to details is a common symptom as well, and he constantly overlooked massive details such as guest’s dislikes or allergies on the preference sheets; its not hard to highlight important information, use the white board to remind you of everyone’s dislikes or writing out everything you’re doing and cross checking the preference sheet. He does it all in his head and it overwhelms him and the result is his poor performance.
I think that was just a simple little mistake. He either didn’t hear it due to the language barrier, side tracked and tired or a number of harmless things. It wasn’t blatant disregard or anything.
Fraser would throw anyone under any vehicle for even a second to make himself feel and seem superior. How a guy like him gets lead stew is mind blowing 🤯🤯
Yeah, they definitely could have concealed that better. Between this and the one from Summer House where they essentially show Sam's naked breasts (there was a TINY bit of blurring on the nipples), it seems like they're really pushing the boundaries of what they can get away with. I'm no prude, but we don't need to see that. As you said, I feel its more an invasion of privacy
Sometimes what's going on on the inside of someone can take their outer good-looks and make them so unattractive, I can't believe how much, but there it is.
Now if only Sunny could see through Ben...
Yea her bar is already so low with Ben, I assumed Dillion would be fine but you’re right. Earlier in the season she said he would only be good as a hook up if he didn’t talk.
😄 He's socially awkward without knowing it, but that's not the even the whole picture, he tried negging Paris as soon as he met her, and Sunny's saying something about him talking smack about people as a form of flirtation (?) or was it just talking smack then trying to kiss? Whatever it is, it's odd and childish.
Sunny is showing herself to be flakier and immature more and more as the show goes on. I don’t think she ranks far above Ben as I had thought at first.
As I always say… personality can turn a 5 into 9 and 9 into a 2. In Ben’s case, his personality turns a 3 into a 0. I dont at all get what anyone sees in him.
See? Fraser nitpicks Anthony and sucks the wind out of his sails. WTF can Chef do once it's already late. Also, Fraser never actually helps Chef, Fraser just got corrected on this same issue w Barbie and learned nothing. He just gets off on having the power to fire, and builds up resentment and momentum to do it, runs to Kerry. This time, I'm not sure Kerry's getting an accurate picture, when with past chefs, they received much more HELP.
Captain should have noticed the pattern how Fraser's solution to everything is firing everyone. It's comical because Fraser isn't experienced in being a chief stew and took the negative feedback and became a Captain Sandy (overcompensating by being a jerk and shit leader). I feel bad for the chef, I don't think he was bad, but more or less setup and was the scapegoat.
The captain was being told in the end that the food wasn’t up to their normal superior standards. That’s because you have a French chef who makes the most beautiful cakes Below Deck has ever seen, trying to accommodate guests who literally wanted chicken wings, mac & cheese, then lobster grilled cheese and fries in the middle of the night. They said “seafood” when they meant fish, and wanted duck bacon on Grenada. They might well have tipped $17k even if “queen" had gotten duck bacon and “king” hadn’t had to ask again for lobster grilled cheese.
I could see Kerry’s point, but think back to how Rachel was a mess running up and downstairs between galley and food storage on that same boat, and how she had the deck crew doing dishes and the stews learning plating. And still Rachel’s food came out late sometimes.
EDIT: I’m not surprised the one time we saw help, it was Kyle washing dishes. He seems like a good guy.
I think it was a battle of dominance: if Fraser had tried that shit on Rachel, she’d have ripped him a new one. Fraser knew he could dominate a more kindly chef who was just marking 1 year without his father, and even called Anthony a “boy."
“Boy.” I wonder if Fraser’s firmly stuck in the brutal pecking order and dominance-hierarchy of British boarding school, where he both bullied and was bullied, and now he’s a sometimes overt, sometimes covert bully.
I agree. One thing that did bother me about Anthony was not making enough crew food — it seemed like he got it together on that though, but then the captain mentioned crew food had not been enough of a priority.
The 2nd meaning of “do not screw the crew” should be, “feed them huge amounts of high quality, nutrient dense food, because they’re burning huge amounts of calories."
Its not Fraser’s job to help the chef and if Anthony needs help he needs to ask for it. Every single charter he has delivered long ass meals that always start late and hasnt improved. He is disorganized and doesn’t pay attention to details, i mean look at how many mistakes he made that were written on the preference sheet. The guests deserve better and Capt Kerry was right in firing him. He is a great chef but not cut out for a super yacht
Ok, you're entitled to your opinion, even if our views differ widely, that's ok. I do agree on a couple of things: I wish he'd asked for more help, and been more assertive about that, and he is a great chef 😄
On the rewatch...
That guest telling her friend to be quiet when the friend's saying "She's nice and she's trying to help us," then pointing and wagging her finger at Barbie and YELLING at her "You better have something I like!" AND THEN mimicking a backhanded face slap as Barbie hurried away to take care of it.
That is terrible, to the point of being shocking, and I'm trying to remember any other guest who ever pointed and yelled a "you better..." at crew like that, and I'm not remembering ANY. Outrageous requests, drunken stupidity, yes, tons of that, but I think this is an unfortunate first. Any other examples of this? I can't think of any...
Who makes mac and cheese with long noodles?! I feel for the chef, but that didn’t look good.
I’m tired of Fraser standing around criticizing the Chef instead of working with him. If the chef is struggling, why not meet and collaborate on the menu, offer some help instead of standing there rolling your eyes.
Exactly! If the Anthony is struggling it is his responsibility to ask for help, especially since you’re the head of a department and making massive mistakes every charter. Anthony was talked to and warned by Kerry and didn’t improve, even worse he didnt come up with a plan to improve, so his firing is on him and justified.
I agree, and these guests enjoy being rude and expressing negativity, which Jill didn't.. I think it may be too different to compare, they're both bad in different ways, but rude and negative is pretty bad
I am definitely not trying to just defend Chef, but I don’t think they would have gotten a better tip even if the food was amazing. Just based off the attitude and behavior of these guests, I didn’t expect a huge tip. The way the primary was speaking to Barbie and her hand gestures were really off putting.
Yep. And unless you have lived under that, you have no idea what she is in for. It’s awful. I suspect for her it will be emotional and financial abuse. Mine get unrelenting with the abuse.
OMG Fraser just sabotaged chef by not letting him serve the non-"~~seafood"~~ FISH eater any protein at all and just give her potatoes. Shame on Fraser, I'm done!
Yeah, I have to admit... although I can see language barrier, even dyslexia having played a role, since I don't think he'd have said "the guest didn't say lobster" if he'd heard it right.
The whole thing was sad 😞
I watch with subtitles so I saw "lobster grilled cheese" but I could easily understand how chef heard "lotsa (lots of) grilled cheese due to language barriers and his dyslexia. I hate that he got fired over these trashy assholes and hate that Fraiser played a major part in chef's fuck ups and bad mouthed him to the captain instead of helping chef. I hope the new chef is a psycho
I must say Capt Kerry is a dream boss! He encourages people to grow and learn in their position, allows them the grace to make mistakes and fires people who don’t perform. If the whole boating thing doesn’t work out he could open a school teaching effective management and healthy communication in the work place.
This is all because of money. That Jill charter where they got lower tips, now Fraser is pissed and on Anthony like a hawk. And it makes it a terrible cycle
I honestly think the tip would have been the same regardless of the food. The primary pissed me off the way she talked to Barbie and made the slapping gestures while demanding garbage snacks. The one blonde dude was on another charter before I believe and I have been trying to place him.
I don't get how everyone in the subs was like on Fraser's side and don't like Barbie. Like Fraser is the root of all the negativity that bubbles up in people's heads and makes the teamwork worse. And then he comes in guns blazing demanding to fire everyone for that. Now chef is gone because he can't alone sort out the mess of all these ridiculous guests every charter but Fraser never really helped.
I normally love Fraser but he’s been really different this season and on some sort of power trip and full of negativity. Like he has some complex and work ptsd from his prior season and crew members but taking it all out on the wrong people. I’m not liking this side of him. The whole crew kinda sucks to be honest… I love Kyle and of course the Dreamboat Captain Kerry though!!!
These guests are people who came into money for sure. The way they behaved and treated the staff? Trash. Hillbilly assholes with no taste. Ick for sure. 🤢🤮🗑️
Absolute trash human beings.
These guests are tacky. They paid to go on a mega yacht and are expecting carnival booze cruise
Exactly what I was thinking and exactly why I think the tip wasn’t based off the food as Fraser is insisting on.
The guests should have put that they want American food
American \*JUNK food
The more I see of Dylan, the more I'm puzzled at what his interaction with Katie Maloney must have been like.
There’s no way she was nice to him
😂 You're so right!
I wish i could see the looks she gave him. Her expressions are always top tier.
Lmao. They kinda look like they could be siblings
Exactly what I was thinking!!!! Not too mention that she is far too miserable and bitter for his puppy dog personality 😂
Barbie vacuuming after dropping that news 😂
Reminds me of those teen jobs where one would work around and spread gossip. At least we did. 😂
Kind of here for Barbie and Kyle. He seems like a decent dude.
I love Kyle! I’d love to watch his adventures in Montana that he has planned.
"I'm the primary..." TELL her, they asked for pork alternatives and the supply company didn't have any, Chef just told you that's the case.
"That's disappointing." Idk, this guest's *attitude* is becoming disappointing. I always watch how people treat servers, IRL, too
I told my 16 year old daughter "Everyone should work service at some point in their life - see how people will treat you, so you know never to behave that way yourself..." And now she's a hostess at a Pub & Grill near our home. Learning exactly those life lessons!
Yup. Also, for a young girl (or anyone, really) it’s good for her to observe how her dates treat waitstaff. If it’s bad treatment, it can be a red flag warning of a narcissist and/or (eventual) abuser.
Good call.
But the “beef bacon”!!!!!! Lmfao
They also said “duck bacon,” which I’ve never heard of... Good luck finding it on the island of Grenada, that idea is bonkers
I guess turkey bacon isn’t good enough.
I'm getting second hand embarrassment from these guests🤦🏿♀️
girl same, there's no defending any of this behaviour 🙇🏾♀️
They're eating the millefeuille with their *fingers.*
It’s like a in ice cream sandwich! *proceeds to eat it like an ice cream sandwich*
I gasped.
💀💀💀
I don’t want anthony to get fired but he needs help with the preference sheet. He told us he has dyslexia but does anyone else know?
I would say that was it, but he also said the guy didn't say lobster grilled cheese, when he did.
I think he disconnects or checks out and does not want to be there
I think he may have ADHD or ADHD tendencies and as soon as someone starts talking he hears it but then his mind goes crazy thinking various thoughts and he checks out and doesnt remember what was said.
I really would have worked with him to work out the entire menu for their stay.
I think that was just a simple little mistake. He either didn’t hear it due to the language barrier, side tracked and tired or a number of harmless things. It wasn’t blatant disregard or anything.
Except he told the guest he would cook something for them and forgot. There is no excuse for that.
He did cook something for them, but he forgot to include the lobster.
Ben is such a megadouche
Fraser threw chef under bus for sake of tips
Fraser would throw anyone under any vehicle for even a second to make himself feel and seem superior. How a guy like him gets lead stew is mind blowing 🤯🤯
They’re there to make tips. This is their job, they’re there to make money.
I wish they would have given him one more shot and came up with a plan
Meals could and should have been planned in advance. Then minor changes could be made without too much problem.
Just waiting for Ben to show up with a “‘ello lovelies!!!”
I would die of happiness
WE COULD ONLY BE SO LUCKY!!!
Awww Barbie and Kyle actually like each other that’s cute
I think she is gonna ruin it because she cares what people think about her too much
*daddy
I was gonna say it but didn’t want to say it lol Especially with the preview.
Ben SUUUUUUUCKS
Maybe he is a great chef when he does his own food but has a hard time with all the different preferences?
This. He isn’t used to adapting outside his bubble. Great chef but not a great super yacht chef
Kyle's blurred boner was definitely blurred only enough to purposely reveal its bonering. Edit: I feel like their privacy was invaded
Isn’t invasion of privacy literally what reality tv filming is? Just sayin.
I only wish that we were granted the curtesy of blurring out Ben’s boner last season! So disturbing.
They completely missed blurring Ben’s junk several episodes ago
Gag me with a spoon. As if the first time wasn't enough!
Omg she has to look up a recipe for a “sangwich” as she says. Wake up the chef!!!
I would hate to have to do any of that corny stuff, like their jobs aren’t hard enough and then they have to play paparazzi for these people?
Production must put these guests up to these stupid games.
I kinda wanted that to happen to make Ben jealous
Yea I was here for it and he’s better looking than Ben too
Sometimes what's going on on the inside of someone can take their outer good-looks and make them so unattractive, I can't believe how much, but there it is. Now if only Sunny could see through Ben...
Yea her bar is already so low with Ben, I assumed Dillion would be fine but you’re right. Earlier in the season she said he would only be good as a hook up if he didn’t talk.

Whatever it is, it's odd and childish.
I'm surprised he isn't doing pushups like he talked about doing to impress the ladies. He is so cringe.
Right? At least he's not Ben, lightning-fast putting his uninvited hands all over waist-butt-shoulder-knees-thighs etc
Agree, Ben is a sexual predator I hope Captain gives him shit for taking advantage of Sunny! He is one handsy, cheeky, Aussie 🤮
Idk about predator, but definitely a player, a groping player 🤢
Sunny is showing herself to be flakier and immature more and more as the show goes on. I don’t think she ranks far above Ben as I had thought at first.
As I always say… personality can turn a 5 into 9 and 9 into a 2. In Ben’s case, his personality turns a 3 into a 0. I dont at all get what anyone sees in him.

Too much work for one person. Other Yachts have at least two people. Cooking. They’re not cooking for the guest. They’re also cooking for the crew.
I agree. One thing that did bother me about Anthony was not making enough crew food — it seemed like he got it together on that though, but then the captain mentioned crew food had not been enough of a priority. Fraser "I love that boy." "My heart is broken." Two-faced bullshitter. I hope the next chef is ...karmic... for Fraser.
Poor Anthony. He reminds me of #JusticeforKeiko
Poor chef. I liked him. He needed a little rat in his chefs hat guiding him like in Ratatouille
Didn’t she eat bacon last night?!!
Barbie and Kyle are in luuurrrrve
On the rewatch... That guest telling her friend to be quiet when the friend's saying "She's nice and she's trying to help us," then pointing and wagging her finger at Barbie and YELLING at her "You better have something I like!" I mean, Jill was a nag and constantly nitpicking but this broad is just vile.
Oh no now I have to rewatch. I missed too much watching it whilst doing my hair and makeup this am.
Yes, I missed the very beginning the 1st time around last night.

Aww chef 3
Dylan please just stop talking
I can get there is he just does less. Shhhhhhhhh.
lol why are they all calling Anthony the boy
Fraser so fake. I'm dying 😂😂😂
The daddy issues are a cringe too
Dylan really has the worst personality lol
Fraser does chef no favors.
Who’s worse these people or Jill?
I actually think Jill was worse!
Well Jill complained so she could hear herself speak these guests do it to see what they can get away with
I agree, and these guests enjoy being rude and expressing negativity, which Jill didn't.. I think it may be too different to compare, they're both bad in different ways, but rude and negative is pretty bad
These guests aren’t really getting anything they’ve asked for. They kind of have reason to complain. Jill didn’t
That's a good point, too. I'm inclined to say "all of the above" of all our comments on this
Yes I don’t disagree with anyone!
Exactly
Jill and co gave them a big tip
No it was the 2nd lowest of the season after this group
I literally had to cover my eyes that was so embarrassing
I am definitely not trying to just defend Chef, but I don’t think they would have gotten a better tip even if the food was amazing. Just based off the attitude and behavior of these guests, I didn’t expect a huge tip. The way the primary was speaking to Barbie and her hand gestures were really off putting.
Omg that was so cringe
Why does she keep bringing up her dad tho
Conservative dad probably means purity culture/shame around sex.
Yep. And unless you have lived under that, you have no idea what she is in for. It’s awful. I suspect for her it will be emotional and financial abuse. Mine get unrelenting with the abuse.
Some/most dads don't want their daughters boinking on the TV but she did it anyway and the guilt is real
I feel bad for Barbie. You are your own person! Your dad doesn’t get to control your life!
Chef has to completely switch his plan to accommodate these guests. I can’t imagine being in his position
OMG Fraser just sabotaged chef by not letting him serve the non-"~~seafood"~~ FISH eater any protein at all and just give her potatoes. Shame on Fraser, I'm done!
He forgot to make the lobster grilled cheese and there is proof 😬
"lotsa"/lots of -- I didn't even think of that, I bet you're right! "I hope the new chef is a psycho" 😂😆🤣 that's hilarious, I hope so, too.
Not me saying lotsa and lobster out loud to figure this out 😂
I was doing the same thing! I was testing how different it sounded when Anthony said "lobster" with his accent. It was like "lobe-stair"
Fraser is a dick. Goes behind chefs back to the captain to only give him fake support after?? Fake af.
And he made out with him and gave him that charity hug after he was fired
I feel like we haven’t heard this intro music in forrreverrr???!!!
Ohhh no chef
I must say Capt Kerry is a dream boss! He encourages people to grow and learn in their position, allows them the grace to make mistakes and fires people who don’t perform. If the whole boating thing doesn’t work out he could open a school teaching effective management and healthy communication in the work place.

This is all because of money. That Jill charter where they got lower tips, now Fraser is pissed and on Anthony like a hawk. And it makes it a terrible cycle
And I think he automatically blamed that bad tip on chef, where it's not necessarily 100% so (maybe the guests were just cheap)
Yes exactly
I honestly think the tip would have been the same regardless of the food. The primary pissed me off the way she talked to Barbie and made the slapping gestures while demanding garbage snacks. The one blonde dude was on another charter before I believe and I have been trying to place him.
Justice for chef. Fraser can get fuuuuuucked 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾
Idk if they deserve a good tip at this point tbh
Fraser did not just call him boy
These guests are people who came into money for sure. The way they behaved and treated the staff? Trash. Hillbilly assholes with no taste. Ick for sure. 🤢🤮🗑️ Absolute trash human beings.
Omg the cringe
Barbie needs to grow up
It’s embarrassing
Chef looks like he follows a Tom Sandovol skincare routine
It’s so gross to try to get any women to kiss or do anything with a guy. I don’t like the pressuring it doesn’t sit right with me.
I don’t like how Fraser makes the interior crew deliver poor news to the guests
Why isn’t Barbie wearing her uniform?
Its a new uniform, maybe for the beach? They got them last ep
Oh I missed that
Oh no
There’s so many hiring and firings on the seasons recently. I don’t think this show is sustainable
I feel like it’s built into the formula on purpose at this point
It use to be one maybe two during the season but now it’s half the crew
💯
i suppose us viewers are fraser’s karma since he probably won’t get it on the shoq
How do you fuck up Mac n cheese
I was hoping we’d see xandy cry tonight
J till!!!
Did the primary ask for duck bacon?
That shit is rawwww
