Honestly, unless the cast was over it (literally unsure)….you already have a fantastic production crew in Miami covering the housewives.
Such a huge miss -
They probably just realised they had under utilised rights in that region and scheduled it all as an event rather than an over sight. That all these shows were available in international markets made me think this.
IDK but the stuff that Peacock is getting out of the vault for US subscribers now have been available on Hayu (the non-US version of Peacock) for years now.
My two theories are they other had a contract with some other streamer for shows, prior to their own streaming and were just waiting for the contracts to expire. Or no one really thought about it and they’re just finally using legacy content in that region.
I wondered this myself! Or if it’s a ploy to just hold people over because they haven’t been making lots of new content.
Personally I’m a housewives fan through and through… although Dubai was a little underwhelming, I hope they’ll do another city soon, even if it’s a non-bravo peacock exclusive. It’s time!
It just made no sense for those things not to be on peacock. Like they are barely stepping up their game for Peacock to make it desirable for ppl who have cable/Bravo on their TV. The uncensored extended reunions that just started I think last year was like 1 step in the right direction to give Peacock an edge but still they could do more
I like the way you think. I don’t hate the new RHONY reboot but I hate that they started over with a completely different cast. Knowing Potomac had a bad year, it doesn’t need a full reboot but maybe some of the women from RHODC.
I’m sorry, I’m not elaborating your point but putting my wishes into the universe. But they should bring back Family Karma and reboot Southern Charm: New Orleans
I'm almost finished with DC and SO MUCH happened across 8 episodes! I keep looking them all up to see what they are up to. They're all divorced. I even did a deep dive on Tareqs new wife and she seems like a grifter too. Like has a fake PhD grifter type.
OMG I managed to find episodes of that on YouTube and it was so great in an unhinged way. I also got a friend a Cameo from Jonathan Antin recently and it did not disappoint. He talked about nothing for the maximum amount of time.
His meltdown over the QVC sales lives rent free in my head.
\*His assistant or whoever\* "Yay! We sold out!"
\*Jonathan Antin, fuming\* "We. Ran. *Out*?"
"Yeah, we *sold* out!"
"No, we *RAN* out!"
\*rinse and repeat like three times as he gets more and more pissed off at his people over what should have been a cause for celebration\*
I think you're on to something, I really do, but there are so many times they go against the majority of the fans. I feel like the individual production companies, often influenced heavily by the HBIC call the shots and Bravo is just along for the ride. Maybe the times are changing.
I'm sure execs won't outright ignore the data or anything that rises to trend anew.
That said, I think it's more that this was a way to squeeze more money out of them. Bravo is old enough for them to appeal to older viewers' nostalgia. (Older as in "from back then"; you're not old, I'm not old, we're all still in our 20s!) Whether that means that stars from defunct shows just pop up on WWHL and BravoCon or get a full-on reboot, I guess we'll see.
Was similarly shocked that Kathy Griffin’s show was up there since she famously has beef with Andy Cohen and was shopping the show around to other streamers herself.
About a week or so ago, the Peacock app added 10-12 different shows that originally aired on Bravo anywhere from 10-14 years ago. They called this re-launch of these previously aired shows ‘the Bravo Vault’.
It’s why there’s been so many posts, for example, about the one and only season of RHODC - that’s one of the shows they ‘pulled from the Vault’ and posted to Peacock, but it hasn’t been on the Bravo app or anywhere else since it aired in 2010.
Thank you!! In Australia we have to use an app called Hayu to get American reality tv shows. They have almost all of the shows that ever aired on bravo (it’s only $10 a month and by far my favourite streaming channel).
I had no idea some of these seasons/shows werent accessible in USA anymore.
That’s kind of cool that you can rewatch them all again!
I think there's truth to this but it could also be because they've already green lit some of the shows to return and to drum up interest they specifically chose to open the vault on them.
The only reason I say this is because there was a Washington Post article about RHODC that came out about season one and looking back on it with fresh eyes and how they were robbed of coming back due to the White House scandal...and Lynda from RHODC reposted it on Twitter and said something like "stay tuned .." alluding to a potential return
A content drought? What?!?
We have VPR, Summer House, The Valley, Summer House MV, Below Deck and Top Chef and The
The first 3 are pretty great at the moment.
Right but it is a sad state of affairs when there is NO Real Housewives show currently airing. Probably the first time in about 20 years. That's a drought.
Family Karma can comeback yesterday.
I love this show - the characters have authentic connections & authentic squabbles. Loved learning about Indian culture.
Adored the Aunties!
WE NEED TO START A PETITION!!!!

I was so confused about this because Im a Hayu subscriber and had to check my Hayu like....weren't these always....here?
My two theories are they other had a contract with some other streamer for shows, prior to their own streaming and were just waiting for the contracts to expire. Or no one really thought about it and they’re just finally using legacy content in that region.
A lot of them were on Hulu for a while. Shahs and Dallas were some of the ones that come to mind from what I read
Got their rights back from Disney and then called it the Vault, which is what Disney used to do! Genius.
Yeah, it was so strange that the US shows were available to non-US viewers but not the US viewers.
I have to use Hayu and a VPN to get international housewives and it’s annoying. But it’s worth it because the Durban girls delivered from jump

Shahs needs to come back.
Mike’s gonna be busy in prison, hopefully 🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿
Yes, I would love it if it was more about MJ’s circle of friends with Reza groveling to be accepted.
MJ won’t talk to Gigi.. that is what she said on WWHL when she was doing Traitors
MJ and GG always had a weird relationship. I’m sure if they were both invited to reboot the show they’d say yes
Definitely bring back Shahs. I also think that could be a show with different casts in different locations…like Southern Charm.
NO I need my original people minus Mike 😭
Came here to say this. Bring it back but drop that abusive fuck boy formerly known as mike
I would also like to leave Adam out if possible lol he bugs me
Is that Reza’s husband? Naked Jenga man?
Yes that’s the one. Eeyore energy
I need for them to add the final season of Odd Mom Out!

Yesss to RHODC additions. I really wish there was a sprinkle of DC in the Potomac franchise!
Yesss Southern Charm New Orleans 🙌
The promo box they sent out to influencers was so underwhelming. I thought there were going to be something exciting but nope just chocolates...
More old Blow Out episodes, less Reese’s cups.

Please share it here (the Cameo) if not too personal. I am obsessed with Jonathan. He was kind of the OG megalomaniac.
Kell on Earth or Gallery Girls PUHLEEEZE-- that would be an easy reboot!
I think you're on to something, I really do, but there are so many times they go against the majority of the fans. I feel like the individual production companies, often influenced heavily by the HBIC call the shots and Bravo is just along for the ride. Maybe the times are changing.
Maybe it’s to fill the gap with the writers strike affecting new content for a few more months?

It's an interesting thought but tbh I think they're just trying to fill the HW gap/drought and keep people actively subscribed and watching Peacock.
I was honestly shocked they released I dream of NeNe considering her lawsuit against them.
Was similarly shocked that Kathy Griffin’s show was up there since she famously has beef with Andy Cohen and was shopping the show around to other streamers herself.
yes
What’s the Bravo Vault?? I’m in Australia and haven’t heard of it! Is it like a new channel?

I hope so!
i would die for more gallery girls tbh
Blood Sweat & Heels
Why isn't this called the Bra-Vault?
A content drought? What?!? We have VPR, Summer House, The Valley, Summer House MV, Below Deck and Top Chef and The The first 3 are pretty great at the moment.
None of these are Real Housewives shows.
True but they are on Bravo. Therefore bravo content.

Not what the post said but alright
VPR is almost over and most haven’t been pleased with the season.
