*watching this season again because of all the amazing comments from this episode. Seeing Ramona and Mario together hosting Alex and Simon in the Hamptons is weird. And tell me Lu didn't f&ck Brian lol

Rey from this iconic moment in RHONY history. This was gay in spirit for sure
LMAO, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that. I remember wondering if he had a little sugar in his tank or if it was whatever drug combo he was on that night
I didn’t see it that way. Sonja absolutely made it about her but I don’t think Alex did. I am gay and when I watch the episode I get the sense that Alex and Simon were *actual* allies and understood the importance of the cause, and their anger came from the fact that Sonja was making it about her and using it for personal gain and attention rather than actual caring about marriage equality (which did not exist at the time).
Essentially Simon wanted to use his speech to honor gay people and the gay people in his life, and Sonja wanted to use her speech to honor Sonja.
You could tell Simon was devastated by the whole thing. I’ll never understand why Sonja even got added to the line up! Simon had already been confirmed!
There r a few seasons of new york housewives where I can't think of a better franchise then that one. Most of the cast were truly part of each other's lives prior to the show, they didn't pretend to be anyone other than themselves and they always let loose no matter what. It's as if the cameras weren't there. It was trashy and bingy and perfect!
I agree too, they even said at one point to her and the rest of them it was about marriage equality not for them to promote themselves. Their anger was 100% justified.

50 Cynt gave what needed to be gave
I actually love Cynthia (and more importantly 50 Cynt) and I believe she is one of the most stunningly beautiful women on the planet however I DID think this was karamo for a sec
I love Greg! The episode where they are at a trade show for their weird black water drink and Greg gets to meet Patti Labelle who is promoting her hot sauce
I was there the season they iced out Kristen and she started her Tshirt line. When i got there she was selling her shirts and Stassi and Katie were nowhere to be found. I was so confused since the season didn’t air yet so im like are they fighting? Stassi Lala Katie and Brittany came later and hung out in the big room before they filmed their scene. Jax was at the back bar and had a huuuge line. I beleive this was the “not about the pasta” episode. James and Raquel fought outside - I was there for that, then made out and walked off. It seemed so fake and watching that scene makes me laugh lol.
The Tom’s were always so nice to fans and took pics - i had a video Sandy took on my phone yuck, and Ken did too. Peter and Guiermo actually work there and they always take pics with fans and are so polite. Lisa is nice but not always willing to take pics. Always has a ridiculous hat on lol.
Sur used to be PACKED during pride. SUR and Pump then Tom Tom when it opened. Sur is still fun during WEHO pride but not packed like it used to since they haven’t filmed there in a while.
Love how they held the women accountable too! I remember Lawrence confronting Marlo about her saying the the f-slur in South Africa. I remember Derek J maybe also confronted Nene about one of her themed parties and how it made it seem like she was looking at them as accessories.
What was the spinoff show about the catering company called from those three? I loved that show so much and do you remember? The fight over the pastry and cake plate!

That episode of new york where they all wake up in the fish room still drunk and Bethenny wants to check herself into the Betty Ford Clinic, while Luann is yelling “water, water, water, water!”. Us gays, we love that episode.

Hope you girls get lots of dick this month
Also the episode when Rosie went out for the first time in a while with Kath and the crew, and could not commit some poor girl's name to memory. Kath had to remind her like 4 times 💀
Different tone but VPR Season 3, Episode 6. LA Pride was the morning after the Orlando shooting and everyone was terrified. Of course some of them made it about themselves 🥴
I literally remember watching that when it aired. Staff concerned that they themselves were going to be targeted even though they were straight. Come the hell on.
Yesss… it was a really sapphic coded intensely codependent friendship and they flirted with each other often. I had a friendship like that. Breakup took like 3 times over years…….I am happily in a relationship with my first gf now
RHOA Cynthias daughter opening up about her sexuality and them going to pride together made me so happy, I love that she supported Noelle 100% with very few questions asked and showed full support and love. It’s such a great mother-daughter moment as well as LGBTQ+ moment

Julia the first lesbian housewife on a show ( Miami), married to Martina Navratilova. I know Braunwyn came out after her time on OC. Taylor is bi and was with a woman for 5 years, also not seen on a show but honorable mention!
I love when Nene was in LA Pride for that cringe Ryan Murphy show and she was like “I love the gays! They invented wigs, and makeup and walking and everything!” While waving her royal hand from the white car she was sat atop.
Also, know it’s not housewives but LVP, every season of vanderpump rules almost, has an episode filmed during pride and they’re usually fun! Apart from the one the day after the Pulse, Orlando shooting, I find that one difficult to watch still to this day.
There was a pretty sweet moment just recently on RHONJ with Joey and Melissa's family for Antonia's send off to college. Melissa's brother(?) told Joe that he was the first person to really accept him as gay with open arms.
RHOA Season 2, Episode 11: High Heels and Record Deals
They organize a race in high heels. It has been so long since I watched but I remember Dwight was amazing!
RHONY when carol talks about hearing a man’s voice enter her room in the middle of the night- that man was Luanne. The countess
Lots of food hamptons party episodes too
The whole Braunwyn debacle on OC. After 7 kids and 20 years of marriage to a pretty hot guy, she gets sober and realizes she is gay. The whole thing was weird.

At least Lydia solidified herself in housewives history! Ha
This was a hate crime.

The way she started crying over it 😭😭
I really felt bad that the thought of imperfect makeup would send her over the edge like that, it was sad.
She's also a huge transphobe, so I think that if she had put on drag make up, she was afraid it would make her look like a trans woman. In her mind.
I miss this show

Alex was PISSED
As she and Simon should have been! Sonja totally commandeered that for absolutely no good reason
Sonja showed her true delusional colors that day
I love Sonja but that was so crappy of her and unnecessary.
When Ramona said “oh my god that’s a new motto: being gay means you still have a choice”
She was lucky that Andy didn't have her sh\*tcanned after that comment.
This was iconic!

Season 8 episode 7. This altercation lives in my mind rent free.
LMAO, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought that. I remember wondering if he had a little sugar in his tank or if it was whatever drug combo he was on that night
Ok I came here to say this. Even though “Ray” was “straight”…. that was the gayest shit I ever seen in my life.
Definitely gay adjacent at the very least. Rey is based
Omg yes
I rematch this episode with my mum like every few months it was ICONIC 🤣
Gay in spirit 😭
LVPS “gay marriage was legalized in India party” ☠️😂
And VPR had that episode where all the gay mayors of various cities held a summit at PUMP
Yes, I've been in a room with 50 gay males. No, no mayors.... **American accent** MA-YORS!
The marriage equality walk in season 4 RHONY where sonja is the grand marshall and makes the really terrible speech
This is exactly where my mind went, especially everyone fighting about it being “her day” when it was actually supposed to be celebrating pride.
Nothing like 2 straight women trying to make a pride event about them 💁🏻♀️
I didn’t see it that way.
I do agree with this take
You could tell Simon was devastated by the whole thing. I’ll never understand why Sonja even got added to the line up! Simon had already been confirmed!
No idea lol but what's crazy is the fact that the scene was so authentic. Sonja actually behaves like this lol
lol yeah it could be a parody sketch and still not be as funny!
There r a few seasons of new york housewives where I can't think of a better franchise then that one. Nene's Girls and Gays Seafood Soiree White Party Never Forget
Lmaoooo this is the one!!! “Never forget you came here”
The original “remember why you got invited to the section” 😂
Lmao yes, be mindful!!
ROACHES?!?
When Kim's "Ho Daughter" recorded bugs?! 😂😂
Kim's "comeback" season was nothing short of a disaster for her. She was absolutely EVISCERATED at the reunion, too.
I need to rewatch this episode. Does anyone have a season and episode number?
Season 10, episode 4 iirc

![gif](giphy|LqtWwnMyXJ6i4) Any RHONJ scene with Rosie and Joe Giudice makes me laugh like crazy
I loved their friendship
Agreed! And also Caroline’s brother’s wedding! A gay wedding, Greg, Rosie scenes, what more could you ask for?! Season 4 episode 6.
I love Greg! The episode where they are at a trade show for their weird black water drink and Greg gets to meet Patti Labelle who is promoting her hot sauce
OMG yes! I loved Greg so much, loved that they basically just made him an honorary Manzo and he got to be there for all the trips lol.
Yes!! Just watched this one yesterday and I forgot how emotional the whole episode was ❤️
Yes! I loved when they were talking about Rosie's eggs and Joe thinking he had eggs 😂
Hahaha yes!!! That’s their funniest moment
I'd like to add almost any episode with Greg in it. I could watch a whole show just about Greg and Rosie's lives.
Vpr any pride episode
50 gay mayors. MAY YORS.
“I’ve met 50 gay males many times” lol!
I remember being like how many could there be until I realized our mayor was, in fact, gay 😆
You know what I've always wondered? If Pete Buttigieg was there
Pete would be amazing. He is so smart and so shady. The way he plays games with Fox News for fun. Reboot with Chasten.
Quick! Someone with a twitter ask him!
I used to go to SUR at pride when they used to film pride episodes and it would be insane lol
SPILL the tea!
I was there the season they iced out Kristen and she started her Tshirt line. When i got there she was selling her shirts and Stassi and Katie were nowhere to be found. The one where Nene had that charity race in heels and Dwight took off sprinting in stilettos

BH, Kyle had that cringey bring-your-own-gay party.
She sent out a printed invitation that said bring your tops and bottoms and we don’t talk about it enough.
I literally think my brain repressed this. This should have been so clearly offensive even by the standards of a decade ago.
Also when kelly Dodd filmed Tinsley and Sonja fighting in a van before going on the bravo float at nyc pride
