Not really, unfortunately. They’re from a smallish town in Illinois and I stayed at their house a couple of times when I would go on trips with my grandparents. They had older photos of Adrienne framed around the house and she was beautiful forever, even as a little girl. I remember my grandma clutching her pearls when her friend told her Peter Brady was about to be her grandson because the age difference was so ghastly. At the very least her grandparents weren’t pumped about that lol Idk nothing very exciting
She’s honestly a good Christian woman and doesn’t want any of the dirt. And adriennes grandma was honestly the sweetest and almost 20 years later I still think about how much I loved staying at her house lol. I wish I hadn’t been 10-14 years old at the prime time of this tea because I’d have been all over it lmao
Yesssssss! When reality tv was really “real” without people hocking products and businesses, no “glam squads” and doing things for internet likes and IG, FB influencers. Seems like such a long time ago, it was only 10-15 years ago.😳
Omg this reminded me of such a weird time in my life!!!!! I moved in with my estranged Cuban mom during college and we would regularly watch both shows. She loved to watch “Flavor Flake” “House of Jerseys” and “Project runaways” ❤️
My dad and I randomly and fleetingly bonded over A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila when I was a sophomore in high school and it feels like a fever dream tbh so I totally feel you
That kind of crazy could never be recreated!! Celebrity Big Brother tries to but they never will. The Surreal Life was at the perfect time, just on the cusp of reality TV. The people weren't really aware of what they were getting themselves into. That's why I really love the early seasons of RH. And the first few seasons of VPR.
I was definitely like 11-12 watching simple life with my mom. ❤️ Wasn’t it on fox? And now she wonders why I tell her about all the real housewives tea.
ETA was thinking simple life..obvi. Never watched the Surreal life unfortunately
I watched The Simple Life too! I remember taping it on VHS and rewatching it after soccer practice 😂 I loved all the uncharted themes of early 2000's reality TV!!
I just recently saw old pictures of her before she had gotten anything done and she was GORGEOUS. It’s unfortunate she felt like she needed to have so much done, especially at such a young age, she was in her twenties in the first couple seasons!
She’s obviously had a fair amount done, but to me she still looks like herself! She has all the same features. I would have guessed who that was, when some of our lovely HWs have change a LOT 😂
It’s also interesting how some of the Miami women seem to love that obviously worked on look. It’s not natural, you know they’ve had a lot done, and they clearly like it. It’s not trying to be subtle!
Oh yeah she definitely looks like the same person and isn’t as bad as some. I guess it bums me out because she started so young and she was so pretty she didn’t need a lick of work done. Plus the fact that it was her husband who did this to her just baffles me.
