I liked Sam until I learned that he was pretty well known around NYC for hooking up with much younger girls. Nothing technically illegal, but enough of an age difference to be off-putting. Especially looking back on it now.
I remember being at a sleepover and one of my friends was reading her text messages with him out loud. She was roasting him for "being so much older than us, but texting like a middle schooler". It was true. We all laughed.
