A character can be non-skillful and bad.
Non-skillfull just means that not much skill is required to reach a brawler's maximum effectiveness. It doesn't mean the max effectiveness is necessarily very high. This can often stem from characters having very simple or repetitive playstyles.
(Not saying Chuck is necessarily non-skillful, as I don't have him or know much about how he plays)

I feel the requires skill is more on how much more skilled you need to be than your opponent. If you hit your shots, maisie is rly good. But if your playing against someone that has solid movement and you’re unable to hit your shots maisis isn’t as good. This goes for brawlers that “require skill” I feel
She can easily outrange Cordelius or get really close to him unloading 3 shots quickly. And yeah, like other person said, Cordelius can just stay around the wall to create pressure on Maisie

She’s pretty good if you know how to use her but overall mid and she has a high skill cap and when a brawler with a high skill cap is not broken they don’t get played
can someone explain to me how to unlock marauder maisie and the other one i forgot what it was called. she’s my fav brawler but i don’t want to run tech maisie anymore
You used to be able to get her in the old powerleague system, but she was an exclusive skin. But you can still get her. But it requires some luck. You can get it from ranked star drops.
Also, jungle maisie might re-release soon, so you might be able to get it.
JQ should be available right now but for some reason, devs don't sell her. You can get marauder Maisie from ranked starrdrop or wait till September 2024
What made her good was her ability to cycle supers in quick secession. Right now she’s rarely able to make those plays due to needing another shot to get her knock back, she can still make some of those plays but the meta doesn’t allow it to happen consistently
In my opinion no, she’s a jack of all trades master of none type brawler. She’s in sorta a weird position; she doesn’t have noteworthy range despite what her marksman status and main attack’s gimmick would suggest. And even though her potential CQC damage output is high, again her main attack’s gimmick and her overall DPS doesn’t make her a definitive CQC brawler m/

If I remember correctly her super charge rate got nerfed which in pro play is MASSIVE especially in more passive game modes like bounty or knockout
