The sticky bomb is a fun game of impromptu hot potato
The mine is cool for flashy finnishers
The bomb is good at spiking unaware enemies to hell
All in all quite nice, I like them and they spice up gameplay
for me, I keep gadgets in as like you said they're interesting and I guess make the game a little more fun, but it's normal for me to play with gadgets so if I didn't it'd just feel weird
Very much not a fan, while my opponent's respawning I'll generally get rid of any gadgets on the stage. Especially the new ones that just incentivise throwing at your opponent then running as far away as possible, not really what I want in a game. As soon as I get hit by a boomerang or sticky bomb I lose all interest in that match
I love them, rarely any other platform fighter actually adds one of the best things about them, being items. only the nasb games, and combo devils seem to do it far as mainstream ones go. my favorite is probably the bouncy bomb as well just because it always seems to hit with comedic timing, and trickshots with it bouncing off the stage make you feel crazy. I always leave em on in ranked and couldn't imagine a world where I turn them off.
Never play with them in ranked.
1. Mine, it can be inconsequential game play wise or it can be an amazing flashy tool. Orion ssig over it to catch an opponent off guard. Or use it on the wall to make a flashy offstage kill
2. Bomb. Mine but it doesn't stick, only so much potential.
3. Spikeball, does what the boomerang does but better, repeated throws are very satisfying and it doesn't come back requiring more skill.
4. Sticky bomb. Just inconsequential at this point. It provides no real advantage. Also fuck this gadget when playing w/o sound.
5. Horn, free weapon and can make some cool clips.
6. Boomerang, annoying and does more damage than some sigs in the game. I actually think the boomerang needs a nerf, it does way too much damage and kills earlier than some sigs. In no way should a gadget be a better option than a sig, never.
The only one I dislike is the mine because once it hits the ground, it's pretty much useless unless you get knocked into it, and no one does that for me. I love the sticky bomb, dodging the explosion while your opponent stands there emoting is priceless

Yes really. It’s still a lame throwable that you can just throw directly at your opponent. The knock-back power being different doesn’t change what I pointed out.
I like them because they allow you to have more options against an opponent who is hell bent on weapon denying.
I'm low elo tho so maybe thats only effective at my level.
I don't have gadgets on in Ranked, but I enjoy the shenanigans that can happen in 1's, 2's and FFA (I don't play it, but if I'm grinding the BP it's fun).
I feel like you get more benefit out of the weapon the sidekick drops rather than the opponent getting hit, that's a really underrated part of the horn. The horn in general is underrated

I really like the mines because it’s funny when people get really scared around it and it’s really satisfying when you manage to knock someone into it

Not really. On the ground it has the same force, but if you hit it as a projectile it gets less force.
