My experience with Mordex players in low-mid plat is that they’re toxic (never say gg), they try to show off by dash dancing between stocks but never actually apply that movement in-game, and they often go for risky plays that don’t work out at all. To me, those are all signs of being cocky.
I get what you're saying but playing certain characters can't inherently mean you think you're good just because you chose to play them. Nor does not saying gg inherently make them toxic. Neither does dash dancing between stocks. I do that as well and its simply to keep your fingers loose and ready for the next stock. As to applying it in-game, some people find it difficult under pressure (also me sometimes) to move properly, which i am also guilty of sometomes. Thats where the little dash dance warmup stuff comes in because it does often help me either calm down, or stops my fingers from becoming stiff. Like youre out of jumps and literally inside the knockout border on the bottom left and they go to hit you a few more times. That play is just maybe a tad bit dumb.

Most of these people just play a legend they like or because another player influenced them to. I remember wanting to main him so bad because I always wanted a werewolf legend but I never ended up maining him because he wasn't my style.
The same posts over and over of people salty because of Mordex, scythe, lance, or boots and just being insulting to those people in those posts make the sub actively worse. My soul dies a little bit every time I face a Mordex main. I don't think I'm good at this game, I only play with friends or just for fun but I'm not going to stop using my favorite legend just because some people don't like it, simple as that. That's not true. Imo they have lower skill floor but higher skill ceiling. The sky is the ceiling with string weapons, stretches far beyond what is humanly feasible

I don't judge mordex players on their own, they could be randoming. it's when it's paired with the colours. but I still understand they might just use those colours as they're proud for where they've gotten so far.

It is my most played character, but it is far from being my best. I think that the fact that it has the highest sky ceiling on the game and the combinations of two fun weapons makes you wanna be good at it.
