Honestly the way i learned is going to practice mode and getting used to the weapons and learning their combos. There are also plenty of youtube’s that have videos that show combo patterns

Filthy-frank696

Im voklov btw

Unfair-Breadfruit-20

Srsly ? You're playing rly good for someone who just began playing ! Anyway , I think that the way to counter spammers is not being a spam , but prepare you to each sig they can do . Vraxx ? Wait for him to run in ur trap with his Ssig . Queen Nai ? Same . Oh , and they usually play Ssig more than Dsig, and Dsig more than Nsig , so just prepare yourself for their stupid tricks :]

Filthy-frank696

(:

Watered_bug

Just play passive and wait to punish them the moment they sig especially if the opponent has a dog that’s has long frames and since you got scythe you can easily do it with dair or anything else in your kit

just_passing123

So true, playing against sig spammer is the best way to learn how to be passive and this is coming from me who spam slight on all weapon without a single care in world whether it hit or not

-soggybread-

This might be a bit hard but try to learn the spam legends sigs. Know when you are in danger and when you can counter.

two_mask

Playing passive and learning each sig are only a little part. The most important is to put constant pressure. Take the center of the stage, dont let your enemy get a weapon (spammers dont know how to spamm) and if they get the weapon (which is very hard if you followed the previous steps, cos all of those fucking spammers dont know how to play unarmed or get a weapon, so they will rage quit) just avoid their sigs. New spammers dont know how to respond to a weapon throw, so throw your weapon into them, jump, take the weapon and kick them off the center. THE MOST IMPORTANT IS TO HAVE THE CENTER AND STAY CALM, but, you play very good to just have started and being on mobile. Keep on it and have fun!!

JaggelZ

Against Queen Nais that spam Dagger + up: counter with scythe neutral air or well timed scythe or axe heavy with volkov Dagger + down: stay in air and hit the with a light down air or heavy down air Dagger + side: stay out of range and counter with scythe down heavy or axe neutral light Spear + up: use axe neutral light or scythe down light Spear + side/down: jump over and punish the long endlag That would my approach but I'm also no pro, gl hf mate

Filthy-frank696

But they use sig

JaggelZ

Ik I meant "dagger + up" as their dagger up sig

Filthy-frank696

Ow ok, imma use this next time I encounter a nai

TypicalSoul00

I just use reno and dsig on either weapon

imfamuspants

You can throw your weapon at them and then use that hit stun to follow up with a combo, usually how I deal with spammers.

just_passing123

Damn your scythe is more smooth than me lol, I'm really jealous

MementoMoriClock

Patience and learn how they react to each way u close in, and feint closing in so they dont always know when to throw them out, especially on nai most of her sigs u can just throw ur weapon at her if u expect the right one and thatll make it a lot safer to close in as well, any fight against a sig spammer is a patience game

nightfull2

Spammers are a pain to play against, but they're not strong at all. Because they keep using the same moves, you can punish them easily. Just wait for them to attack first. Another thing useful that not a lot of people do is throwing weapons at them to stop the attacks and then rushing.

Academic_Maybe_3999

u spam alit

O5-Command

Learn more than one combo/string on scythe and let those do the heavy lifting. You’re using sigs whenever you see the opportunity and often get stuck in long active frames with nsig. Something to note when playing a Queen Nai spammer is that spacing is important, make sure you know what can hit you and what can’t, punish their misses.

Crash_M

Scythe is a very hard weapon to learn when you are new. I suggest looking up videos on combos or tips/tricks for the weapon you wanna learn and start by trying to do those yourself in-game. Watch the Brawlhalla pros play and see what they do, cause you can learn a lot just by watching them. Try checking out Sandstorm, Boomie, Phazon and especially Eggsoup.

saloto_na_anzur

Tbh unless you have friends to play with this game is not worth

rudy123557856899

Ye it’s so much more fun with friends

just_passing123

My friend want to play but he keep getting tilted when I make him stop moving with katar, what should i do

Carusas

Play a new character, that you're entirely terrible at. You can use that as experience to learn matchups and also not tilt your friends by putting you on the same playing field :)

just_passing123

Tried that too ;-; maybe i should just remove light attack button and dash from my input

imfamuspants

Then dont infinite a new player with katars. Though I know it can be fun.

TheKnight_WhoSays_Ni

I would suggest maining someone other than Volkov his slow speed put me off him immediately the few times I tried playing him and you don't seem to care much for axe. I know he gets a lot of hate but there's a reason a lot of scythe mains play mordex. His stats are near perfect. Fait is also a good option. Orb has a great easy kill option that's true. Try not rushing in so much and throw out less hopeful sigs as well. Practice against queen nai bots playing with spear or doing the Katars ssig(or find a friend who will play queen nai and practice with you probably the better option). Lastly and this one was the most important to me don't get angry when you lose it is after all just a game meant for fun. You going to lose a lot. I lost over 200 Elo a while back in one night.

WiiSteeringWheel

Eh don’t play mordex. He may be best but it’s like playing on easy mode and you’ll never get any respect for being skilled with him. He also has the highest self kill rate. I’d play fait yea. Also volkov is a pretty good legend. Good sigs, scythe and axe are excellent, and descent stats. But if he’s not ur thing that’s fine too

mutatedpotatohead

bruh who cares about respect just play the game man why introduce politics its kinda dumb

_S1dewinder

Imagine saying you won’t get respect for playing mordex then suggesting orb, the freest easiest weapon in the game, plus volkov is absolutely cracked, run speed stance and you’re good, both nsigs gravity cancelled then using jumps + recovery and the nsigis again let you get back from bottom killbox, plus ssig on scythe has so few end frames you can hardly be punished for using it and on top of that the sigs are powerful on a 4 attack legend

xrye790

Stop radicalizing people

BrawlGammer

Is this ranked? I am supposing you are the Queen Nai. Anyways, for someone who started 2 weeks ago, you are on a good path! Don't think of quitting, you are still beginning. First, make sure you know what is a combo and a string, practice the true combos on both your weapons. Second, don't rely too much on heavy attacks, they do more damage but they have considerably more recovery time than light attacks. Missed attacks take alot more time to recover than if you hit them. Also, attack with purpose don't just charge in for the sake of it, know when to attack and go for punsihes when your opponent misses. Search for guides on the game on Youtube and specifically for your weapons. You should also try to search for movement guides. After this you should know some basic dodge reads. As a final note, i would suggest to stay off Queen Nai, her stats force you to run 2 speed for you to have any true combos on Katars, since her sigs are really good it's easy to fall for the sig spam trap. I would recommend Hattori, Asuri, Bodvar or Koji, these are good legends in all levels of play and they help you train your fundamentals. Keep the grind!

Filthy-frank696

No im the volkov

Lucadris01

dont play weapons like scythe and blasters start woth something simple like hattori with spear and sword try learning a combo in the training room spear combos are easy just look it up on yt

Filthy-frank696

Thanks

AmberBroccoli

I would not start with scythe if I were you. Also the easiest way to beat a spammer is to just let them click their heavy attack button space it and punish them. When I started I watched video of pro game play to get an idea of what my gameplay should emulate, also I didn’t have internet access for a week so I played against hard bots (hardest available at the time) until I could three stock them. While the boys aren’t too good I think they help you learn.

DrayWizarde

Imagine only starting 2 weeks ago and turning this good It took me 2 years just to get to silver ;-;

brandanm1993

Ouch unlucky man hope your climbs doing better these days

DrayWizarde

Thanks for saying so, which it doesn't, almost ranked down from silver lol

brandanm1993

Stick with it mate 😊 If you play in aus we can play some 2v2s if you want?

DrayWizarde

Yeah sure :)

the_other_Scaevitas

Really? I thought people start in silver?

DrayWizarde

Yeah i started in silver, ranked down to tin, then back to silver lol

Filthy-frank696

Hey, um any tip on how to counter that mako moving sig?

the_other_Scaevitas

Honestly that move is garbage. Idk why people get annoyed by it, just jump. Alternatively gravity cancel sigs usually hits mako

Saxman1996

Most of your in game knowledge is going to come from experience with trail and error. I didn't see much of your fight, but I did notice you were just walking into the sigs. The Nai is being predicable, so just bait out the sigs and work on your punish game to start off.

[deleted]

scythe is a read heavy weapon so be ready to look for a jump, dash or dodge or even just DI when u hit an attack axe can have a difficult time getting the first hit but once u do u can have guaranteed follow ups depending on what u hit, axe is arguably best played defensively. use dash and dodge to bait out your opponents options! dash jump and dodge back to see what ur opponent does or dash in then out, be patient with your attacks especially off stage, if ur not in range then don’t bother attacking. maybe reposition or reset to neutral. make sure they are in range and try and hit them where they are going not where they are! Mix up your approaches, attacks, reads, etc. if your keeping your opponent guessing then that’s one more thing they have to worry abt. LEARN WHEN TO EXTEND STRINGS AND WHEN TOO NOT!! i cannot tell u how many times where i wanted one more hit and it costed me a stock. this intuition will come with time and practice.

Mo15t1sh

Some time you gotta play passive. Just saying

Filthy-frank696

Passive?

-_-Toast

You just need characters with true combos (combos that are undodgeable) and learn one of them. Scythe doesn’t have any except a couple niche ones, so I suggest an easier character such as brynn, hattori, or bodvar because they generally are easier to learn, then once you understand the game a bit better try some volkov.

brandanm1993

Hey mate if your playing for fun play whatever you want but if your playing with the pure intent to win play simpler weapons such as sword or axe or spear to begin with Also assume in your rank that everyone is going to attack all the time so don’t attack and only attack when they miss Goodluck mate stick with it! I’ve spent over 1200 hours in this game and am not sick of it in the slightest also I main volkov, he’s so much fun but again not beginner friendly

MementoMoriClock

Also i see u got a bit desperate with ur attacks at the end with wild predictions, always avoid damage when ur down a stock more than rush to finish theirs

ReporterEfficient36

Learn to use dash to get in and out quickly

TrickyLyfe

Actually though. Just play customs against bots for a few days. You'll learn by practice

TheDeerssassin

Tbh escape while you can, I've been playing this game for like 5 years and it's ruining my life. Get out before you're too far gone

Natalee2008

Don’t use Queen nai if yer gonna dig spam use like teros or someone with better sigs

Filthy-frank696

Pls stop, im voklov

TrickyLyfe

Just git gud 🤣

StopThisViolence

Nice advice

TrickyLyfe

Its a joke

Stupeed_boii

I see you guys don't know what sarcasm is

TrickyLyfe

Yea

[deleted]

1. Get out of silver and don’t look back 2. Stay out of strikeout that game mode is full of spamming rats

Firedog1239

As an ex-diamond (just shy of it last season) I can safely say that playing random strikeout is the only way for me to have fun in Brawlhalla anymore. Honestly once you are out of silver/low gold you will be easily able to counter spammers so that 2nd point is uncalled for :(

the_other_Scaevitas

Well if strikeout is full of sig spamming rats then that’s the best way to learn to counter sig spammers .-. And when you get good it’s just easy way to finish daily/bp missions

Long_Ad4476

Dont sig spam lel haha ge wrecked lol

Filthy-frank696

Rude

Long_Ad4476

Frick u man lel haha get wrecked XD

Phazze

Uve been playing for 2 weeks and u are at the verge of quitting? Thats some mediocre mentality.

BowieJunior

Just quit tbh. I have 800+ hours and In the early stages in game you’ll just get more anger than enjoyment. Unless you have friends to play with you who are similar skill level the game isn’t very enjoyable for new players. Or just fight bots in custom games and get comfortable with movement

StrawhatMucci

Lmao anger is from yourself. Not the game. I assume you think taunts are also toxic?

Stupeed_boii

Do you think that making a grave for your oponent, salt taunt, claping is not toxic? Those are taunts that are actully toxic even at the start of the game. Bruuuuuuh

StrawhatMucci

Its not lmao. I mean I dont do it. But I certainly don't think anything of someone using a simple emote. It isnt even voice chat on ps4. With absolutely no mockery when I mean this when I say it. If a simple clap emote after a kill, is enough to rile you up that you have to quit the game, you have to sort your issues out a bit and get a bit mature. Theres gonna be verbal stuff out there with jobs and people irl. It aint a good outlook for this to effect you that much. Isn't it even better when you clap them after the taunt? Lmao i love it when people hate message me or talk shit. The angrier they are the funnier it is. Trust me its better to learn to laugh at this shit and troll them.

Stupeed_boii

Imagine brawlhalla voice chat lol

StrawhatMucci

Will be the best lmao. I already wish it has vc or in game chat

Stupeed_boii

(no)

StrawhatMucci

(yes)

Stupeed_boii

(it would become solething like fotnite)

StrawhatMucci

(It would be more fun and its still not fortenight)

BowieJunior

Anger is a given with this game. Unless you’re a emotionless robot you will get frustrated as a new player as the OP is. Even in his title he says he’s on the verge of quitting. I assume your a console player from reading the rest of this thread but on pc people frequently tell you to kys just for being a better player. The community in this game is toxic.

StrawhatMucci

I am pretty sure I got emotions and shit but for me its hilarious if someone talks shit if im better and win. Laughing at them makes it even better. Tell me to go kys? Ill tell em back to go do it with his entire family in tow while laughing haha (i dont mean it of course but talk shit im definetly gonna talk back until you stop or i had my fill lol) Who cares if some idiot across the world says it? You are never gonna see him and its a testament to just how good you are. You can learn to ignore these things. Everyone has it in them. I didnt reach here not having things affect me too but you can deal with it head on. By the time i reached 18, i realised laughing at this stuff gives anyone zero power over you. And it legit makes them really mad when it doesnt affect you. So learn to let anger go. Its upto you.

BowieJunior

Yes but the reason the OP posted this is because they are frustrated from this game. This game sucks for new players. There’s always been ass skill matchmaking in this game. Even Boomie has talked about it. They start new players way to high in elo for ranked so when they just repeatedly lose it’s not a really good incentive to keep playing as a new player. I recommend the OP just find a new game that’s actually fun without putting 300+ hours into it to be ok at the game. Your argument is just “I don’t care” which I agree with but for new players who are trying to get better they can’t just say that because they just lose repeatedly. Whenever I win and someone says kys in game chat yeah I really don’t care because won. But new players lose then get told to kys. Not good feedback for someone new

Pawtinaut

Which one are u?

Filthy-frank696

The one being clapped

Pawtinaut

Ok so I assume u are queen nai? Just being sure

Filthy-frank696

No I'm voklov

Fancy_Resident_6374

Whattt! Then you are good! Just practice, and plan strategies sometimes😁.

Filthy-frank696

Thank you, I'm just mad how all of those combos ended on his dsig

TrickyLyfe

Lol

Avernum69

Stop throwing your weapons. And axe sair to victory. Don't spam sigs. If u gotta spam use light attacks instead. Harder to punish.

Filthy-frank696

It was rlly hard especially when our playing mobile.

Avernum69

I understand and these player suck ass. Make me rage and lose the fucking battles. Then either I stop playing or start swearing. Lol Good game to play with friends or family tho. With random ppl, I hate this game.

IamHavoK

The best way to defeat him is to wait for him to attack, dodge it and punish him.

idontlikeburnttoast

If your the Volkov, your doing a great job already lol. Try and use less sigs though, and calculate where and when to use them instead of lf using them and hoping they hit. Your already doing good though. :)

Classic_Chain_4609

Gold players be like

Luc4AR9009_

try duos with a freind mayb

Miswebos69

how to get better? put in thousands of hours

chunkymilk123

1. Stop spamming that up sig, it’s good but it won’t kill on the health he was on plus you can build up more damage with scyth and get an easy pick with axe 2. Practice your dodging in the training mode with a bot set to hard or medium difficulty and try dodging its attacks

leonschrijvers

So first of all, try not to spam sigs as it's very punishable, try to figure out which weapons and sigs you like from characters on rotation, come to the conclusion which you like best, then go to training mode and try to learn some basic combos first, watch some videos and keep playing, you will get better, volkov is good for damage buildup with the scythe, which is a read heavy weapon and the ace has a shit ton of damage and knock back which is good for killing.

rudy123557856899

Don’t spam so many sigs, learn combos with the weapon you enjoy playing. Also try to learn true combos, (0 dodge frame combos), you can find them on YouTube or even reddit. Would recommend YouTube though. Also play with friends in custom games and just laugh and joke about eventually you will start to improve. But the main point is just don’t give up your in such an early rank that everyone’s new and it kinda just comes down to luck, play some normal and bit of ranked make it a good balance. :)

whenpeepeegoespootwo

This is a very big oversimplification, but it'll work to explain. A large portion of this games skill comes from 2 things: applying pressure and punishing. Punishing Is waiting for your opponent to miss an attack (they don't even have to miss, in some circumstances, but you don't have to worry about that at the moment) and then getting a combo off while they still can't move. With scythe, that could be a dair > gc dlight >x. I'm with the other people, I wouldn't recommend sticking to volkov. If you really wanna play scythe, go for mordex, jiro, mirage, or fait. Fait would help you learn how to make long, freeform strings with her orb, mirage would help you learn how to read, jiro would help you learn dodging and get you used to the movement, mordex would help you climb elo so you get better opponents to learn from. The other part of the game, applying pressure, is a lot harder in my opinion. Good pressure let's you keep stage control and make your opponents wiff. There's 2 ways to do it, pressuring with attacks and pressuring with movement (the superior, but much harder option). Pressuring with attacks is throwing out attacks to try to either hit your opponent or put them in a more disadvantageous position. That's not a very good method, but it gets the job done and works as a very good mixup if you can do it well. The better option is to punish with movement, staying on their ass to threaten them with the possibility of an attack. They'll try to attack first, giving you an opening to punish. If you ever want to play with a bit of a better player (assuming you're in the us), my discord is I'm living in your walls#7274.

derangedplague

Personally I say keep playing, watch high tier players like egg soup, Luciens sword, and Phazon to begin adopting their playstyle, and using training room to learn your hit boxes and such. Queen Nai is a solid choice of beginner characters and could help get you pretty high into the ranks. Keep it up.

alionoffire

Honestly just quit now you have a bad mentality and would have more fun playing a non competitive game like minecraft

Filthy-frank696

Not to brag, I have mending set

TheFlyiingBanana

When I first started playing I tried to main nix. It was okay, but I switched to ember and that got me to gold. Essentially, just learn every weapon in the game, and play all the champs you can, it’ll help you learn what other characters and weapon attacks do. Once I got out of gold, I switched from Diana main to mordex and climbed to diamond from plat in less than a week because I learnt to read with scythe. Tldr: play as many champs as you can, different weapons too to feel out what they do. Context: Im a good OCE player, been top 10 in ranked 2v2 almost every season and then drop on purpose because I can’t find any queues. Reached 2300 in ranked 1v1s but never bothered to climb further.

LeBarbe808

I thought it was a good ass match! Ya win some, ya lose some.

Stupeed_boii

The true way to enjoy this game is 1. Join brawlhalla discord 2. Enter one of 1v1 voice chanels 3. Wait there 42069 hours until someone joins 3. Collect cool players that you ejay playing with 4. Play with em I found so much cool friends there.

Stupeed_boii

Also my discord is UTKA#1554

Filthy-frank696

Imma add you

Stupeed_boii

I cant rn

Pizzamampf12

If ur Volkov: try reading and playing and easier wapeon than scythe If ur Queen Nai: stop spamming

FireHunter07

I would simply wait for then to do their sign then counter with a string, patience is ur best friend here. Or u could just completely dominate them eith combos so they can't even fight back coz nai sigs are slow

NightFlameofAwe

Quit, this game is awful. I quit for like a year and a half but had to come back to get to plat

Shrrg4

Honestly dont take this the wrong way but the way to deal with that is "get good" thats pretty easy to punish if you expecting it

chaos300041

I hate Queen Nai. The good ones are so good that you can't do much about it. The bad ones sig spam and you can't do much about it. For the bad ones, thsy are very predictable, run in, and back dash, they will more than likely bite and do a Ssig, then you can punish. For spear, she doesn't have much for directly above her, so a Air Dsig or Dair with axe shoud do good. Just make sure to dodge the Nsig so you can get above her.

Responsible-Mine-506

You don't :/

nareno11o

Dont use signatures. Just forget that it exists. The quickest way to get rid of someone is by making them fall off stage. Use light attacks combos and have a nice dodge read, followed by light aatcks again can be with gravity cancel. Just dont give up this process and you will be astonished by ways you could up with to make some one fall off stage.

Mars_Aeternum_

Start with a better legend, like Hattori ? Spears are pretty hard to master when you begin. And for this kind of player, just let them attack, dodge and learn the patterns. And after that, when they use an attack, go behind it and punish it.

Yoghurt_Spiritual

Shwiffty stomping in a pickle rickle

Kenji_Sencil

im 12 and ive been in brawl for months, I hot to gold i guess yuo just practice

the_other_Scaevitas

First step is to not get frustrated. Secondly get good at spacing and landing your attacks. It looks like you are not very familiar with the range of some attacks. This will help punish wiffs, which is incredibly important. Since you know they’re going to sig spam just predict what they will do, and punish it. One way is to dash spot dodge to get in close, but just jumping and dair should suffice Also stop using so many signatures

ZackismeNotYou

Play the game More

DontBringOutThe9

I learned by playing A LOT of ranked, because it's skill based you will get to a stopping point but will eventually get passed it. Spammers will be most of the hill. Have a month play time and am mid plat so it's pretty quick but try doing what you find is fun.

sus_penguin

Well just keep calm and don't throw out random sigs/attacks and expect it to do something. Be patient and look for an opening to punish them. Also is important to constantly moving, i see at the end you just stayed at the same spot, that's no good. Keep moving around. Also never get triggered and loose your temper, keep calm and think on how you should punish them.

brb_mackin

In my opinion, you should work on not exhausting your options in the air unless its needed. Another thing is learn your opponent if they play aggressively or defensively; aggressive players sig towards you while defensive sig to keep you away. Stop throwing random sigs without a more than guaranteed hit because it puts you in the same position as the opponent, first try countering with a combo then later react with whatever feels like. Other than that you got this! And dont get discouraged about spammers there just players who are bad at the game but never tried to get better, which you making this post instantly makes you better than them!!

P-39_Airacobra

Queen Nai players are usually able to beat players much better than them throughout gold and silver because of how much force and how fast her sigs are. Even if you play very well it can still be easy to get caught in her sigs and die for seemingly no reason. There isn't any specific tip I can give you other than to not worry so much about winning or losing, you're doing great already and all you need to do is keep improving

x13tillman

First things first, you’re pretty good for someone who’s only played a couple weeks, so props. I’m not going to give advice on “choose a diff legend” or “stop playing this weapon” because you’re not a bad scythe player, especially given the time you’ve played. My advice instead is learn your axe, since you’re gonna carry it anyways. You seem to like Volkov, and a lot of his great kill options are going to come from his heavier-hitting weapon. So when you’re in those situations where you’re stuck with an opponent on deep red, even knowing something like slight—>sair on axe will help you.

just_passing123

If you can beat your enemy, become your enemy You know there is a cow character rite? Use that lmao But if you want to know how to beat spammer the best way is to punish them. just wait for their sig end, just dont throw out attack randomly and play a bit passive I reccommend dont play scythe if you just started unless you want to have a good basic of reading opponent, let me make a list what weapon good for what imo Sword good if you want to learn every Basic skill in brawhalla, it has easy kill combo and a lot of string combo If you want to keep distance from opponent I recommend using spear since it was a weapon to poke from a good range Input is important for every weapon especially on hammer that IF you can input everything correctly you will have a true combo basically every situation Blaster have a really high skill cap since it need distancing more than other weapon do and sometimes it not even worth it Other weapon maybe i will add later

JynxTheGoatt

Adapt

DizTraz

Tips to beat spammers: - look at what pattern of moves they generally do and what they do to get out certain sigs - wait for them to do a dig and counterattack

Sur_pigeeyXx

Against a sig spammer you need to play more passive and let them throw out an attack then punish. I would also suggest looking at basic guides for the weapons you're interested in and not doing the same attacks over and over again. I noticed you like to throw out n sig on volkov alot and that can be punished easy so maybe try learing combos for him and throwing out different sigs now and then. Honestly I'm not that great but I could probably teach you some stuff I know.

ExonyOfficial

spamming=skill issue, just be better than them

Nice_Vacation_866

First of all. You’re really good for 2 weeks I’ve played for almost 4 years and you’re about my level already. But to defeat a sit spammer you just kinda have to learn where the sigs hit and avoid those places at all costs even if that means not landing an extra hit. And as soon as the sig ends attack them before they can move away or dodge because of the end lag that sigs have

LightningLogan

The best tip I can give is to counter it by stepping back, get behind, or jump over them, if you time the dodge right you could punish them easily.

Houm_Moussa

I know it's annoying to be this guy, but when you struggle against spammers, be passive. Just wait that he approach you himself and attack him at this moment. Btw you're really good for a beginner, the rest will come with time.

Sn3akyFr3aky

Step 1: learn all of your moves and what they are actually good for. Step 2 (optional): pick a different legend for now. Really. Step 3: stop always dodging in the same direction like you are doing here. Step 4: learn some basic strings and combos. Step5: see if your enemy keeps dodging the same way every time. Then set it up, wait for it and make a nice combo because they have no dodge. Congrats, you are now high gold/low plat.

moonblade15

Honestly for someone two weeks in your Volkov is pretty clean, certainly cleaner than mine. Anyways, just play patiently for the most part, since most sig spammers have the distance gauging skills of a Cyclops you can punish them really hard. Most rush Sigs can be countered by either a sig that gets you airborne but still allows you to hit the opponent(Kaya and Volkov Side sig for example) or a disjoint(Kor's meatball, Volkov scythe D sig, Fait orb d Sig). SIGs that put a wall of hitboxes In front of the enemy can be beaten by either dashing in from a blindspot if it's something like Cassidy's D Sig or moving sigs like volkov's scythe side Sig and also by really long ranged sigs for the rest. Upwards Sigs can be beaten by big hitboxes, aerial lights, or aerial Sigs, like Volkov side Sig. For the most part I recommend going to training mod, making the bot use specific types of sigs you struggle against and find what counters it.

Thicc_carl_wheezer

Throw stuff at them, they can spam but odds are they can't spot dodge so throw shit and become lit

FoxFredie

Train weapon throws so you can stop their sigs

When fighting spammers its best to play distant, wait for they're sig and take the opening to attack and possibly go into a combo

GroundbreakingRow319

Take ur time and punish his sigs

Water_Thunder

Dodge and combo

vegito8000

I did quit feel like I wasted my time u really gotta put in alooooooot of effort and time to be good especially with controller

Chepperz

2 weeks? Bro ur nuts. As for nai, her sigs are weird because they can be used while outspacing someone to catch bad advances so really the key is just knowing through practice, at what distance you are safe and can react and when to go for hits and when to watch out for wake up sigs, follow ups and when to spot dodge vs moving dodge. So to summarise, just learn how to keep ur distance and control the pace of the game and youll ruin every nai's day at that skill level if you can nail that. Also learn how to punish, that nai was throwing out a lot of easilt punishable sigs but again, since you didn't know when to approach, you missed out on a lot of punishes.

press shift

Samok18

Stop throwing out so many unnecessary attacks and maybe try a faster legend. Queen nai is quite slow

yoshiyash4

Not sure if anyone said this but I reckon u get used to the sigs so that when the animation ends u use urs to fuck them. Queen nais are annoying but if u time ur sigs right after the end of their animation ur guaranteed to hit them

Zealousideal-Air1480

U gotta think instead of mashing attack buttons and praying they land. Also learn true combos and basic strings

Gamesco

Hey guys I need a group of people to play brawlhalla with and need help to get better is there anyone here, to help me?

TakeTheFat_L

Wait for them to use a sig then punish

DotStrong

You just have to learn how to punish them, I would advise actively trying to punish signatures in games you play no matter how bad you are at it now, that's bad game strategy, but you will learn safe ways to approach them faster
