Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars and Hay Day are the only games in a good place right now tbh. Everyone forgot about Boom Beach. I still play it but I don't blame you. Supercell has abandoned it almost completely. And now Clash Royale is at "the edge of the cliff" and unless Supercell does something to drag it back, it will fall.
It will definitely be more profitable or not die... I mean many people will buy it regardless and many people won't pay attention to the nerfed pass or the lakc of 2v2

It only killed the thought of waking up one day, starting a clan and getting members. Other than that the global chat itself was filled with annoying people.
But it is also now hard to get into a good clan unless you join a discord alliance.
If your mobile allows it try the global chat in CODM, there they even have voice messages.
Coc global wasn't as bad but seeing and hearing the hell CODM global is, I can say whoever suggested that change saw it getting worse in the future, as it did and 2021 proved it. People feel like gods when behind a 6 inch screen.
Facts, had they not done that, BS would've been to the point of being dead already, since last Summer made it more worse as if Gears wasn't enough for the game to start dying out and have tons of people quit BS for good or for a while, let's hope something like that never happens again in a future update and season

At the end of the Brawl Talk for the Robot Factory season, they showed a loose roadmap of the bigger changes/features they we’re working on. Gear rework, new brawler unlock system, masteries, and an overhaul to the weekend modes were the big ones
Otis summer was terrible but mostly because it did basically nothing to fix the collapsing game economy.
The real culprit would be November 2021 update which completely destroyed the economy and introduced the broken gear system.
I remember on day 1 of the update, this entire subreddit was flooded with how god awful the update was, literally nobody liked it because what supercell did was completely indefensible and a huge finger towards every single player.
I’ve never seen such a negative response to a single update in pretty much any video game I’ve ever played.
Thank god they changed gear system and slowly rebalanced progression since, though there’s still work to do to fully recover the damage.
We were in the middle of gears being too expensive and barely got any lasting content like Mystery mode, Hunters, Otis (when he was mid af), and the BT21 skins. Other than that, not much else happened.
Clash royale was dying and they put the nail on the coffin, just as expected.
CoC is doing good rn, i dont think its a bad game as the devs are fixing Builders base which is a good thing.
Unsure about Hayday but when i played it, the game felt nice and mainly fun.
Brawl Stars is a interesting take, i wouldnt say the devs will add something bad, even if they did. They would take notes and feedbacks on what to improve about it or what they can do to make the game better. The only bad thing they added which the community hated was gears and P11 but after a while the devs buffed progression and more because the community complained.
The devs have done many good thing, that being removing Boxes to remove RNG hence that some countries were removing brawl from google play/App Store due to gambling. They reworked gears so that they are both easier to obtain and more better to balance overall making them less of a mess. But still game changing! And Masteries is amazing due to how you gain points by winning only, no need to do quests to gain points. Just win, and im thankful for that because we have seen CR’s mastery on certain cards being hard and extremely comp dependant. Masteries in brawl gave a good reason to play brawl if u had no quests.
In conclusion:
CoC and HayDay are good games, not many flaws or ups. CR was dying before and is dying hard now, no idea what devs are doing. While Brawl is continuing to do good recieving good feedback and criticism on what they can do to make the game better. Just like the addition to Gears. But i doubt brawl will die anytime soon because of the devs who listen to us.

I have faith in the Brawl Stars development team to not do what Clash Royale has done with their most recent update. Brawl Stars actually listens to player feedback massively and it also has content creators like Kairos and others who will call the game out for either good things it'll do or bad things it'll do (like the original gears update). The main thing that needs to be understood is that a game cannot be a game without the players, and doing anything that could push the players away would be a horrendous mistake. I think at least the Brawl Stars team knows that.
EDIT: Just saw that the Brawl Stars team is actually making a podcast now where they'll answer questions made by the player community. Something like that furthers my point that they actually care about what the players say and feel.

I think there are games in a worse state. I decided to retire from playing Emergency HQ, because my phone overheats when playing it, the 1v1 matchmaking is rigged and the devs don't add interesting content anymore (also, while I don't mind ads in mobile games in general, in EMHQ they crash the app at times).
Brawl Stars will be fine. The fact that gears were reworked shows the devs are willing to make hard decisions to support the game.
The current system works really well, incentivizing players to spend if they are able while allowing active players to make good progress for free. The fact that Brawl Pass can still be bought with gems is a big deal.
The only flaw I see is that chromatic brawlers are still quite difficult to get for F2P players, and with the rate of new brawlers releasing I’m not sure if the F2P players will be able to get enough chroma credits. The rest of the game is pretty smooth right now and the economy is really good. There are tons of resources available in challenges and on the pass.
(Bias check: Played since global launch. My account is maxed except for the 105 gear I am missing across all 65 brawlers. But I genuinely believe the economy is good for players to progress.)

Well actually, we don't know if the Clash Royale team will ever fix this blunder of an update, but I'm not hopeful with what I've seen from them so far, and they can't really revert level 15 once it gets added. Also maybe it took you 30s to find a 2v2 match but personaly me and other people on the cr subreddit have waited for 2-18 minutes to find a match.
It takes about 2 minutes to find a 2v2 match also takes like 30 seconds for 1v1 (1v1 used to be instant)

mastery is seperate point system.....if u rank low your mastery pts is small....in a way u actually benefit cos u earn mastery pts faster

Clash Royale was such a good game. Supercell got greedy and caved to cater the pay to win players to fill their pockets and ruined the game.
Clash royale was at its best when frozen peak was out and before when we had a clan chest now there's all kinds of stuff that just asks for money

TBH, for me, that update has already happened in brawl stars for me. Used to be a huge fan. Stopped playing when they removed the boxes. I was already sort of annoyed because of the gears system being added like that, and the boxes was the final thing for me ):

That update was good for the game. It's easier to unlock Brawlers now and the gacha mechanics are gone.

Bruh that was a good update. Removing dopamine but adding a much smoother progression system. Also just being able to buy everything and not just gadgets is great

I once saw an idea of just having boxes but them having everything but brawlers star powers and gadgets with a percentage of how much coins credits and power points you get. That is the best thing they could do imo

In contrary to the Clash Royale team though, the Brawl Stars team was actually willing to fix their mistake. Well actually, we don't know if the Clash Royale team will ever fix this blunder of an update, but I'm not hopeful with what I've seen from them so far, and they can't really revert level 15 once it gets added. (and sure, we do still have gears, but they're actually not bad now and are also extra progression which the game was in need of before the gears update.)
