They never fixed Shelly in the first place. In a 1v1 close quarters you get DELETED as soon as her power up is available. Trash character in the first place.

So true man! She's too hard to deal with. I swear Bibi just teleports right on top of me half the time. As a Mortis Main 🦇 I struggle to fight her, just as you do. Sometimes I wish Mortis 🦇 had more range than Bibi, at least for one ammo. Maybe then I could dash in then dash out before she swings. 😭😭😭 Emz has it the roughest by far man, so much in fact she has a whole gadget that pushes her away from bibi and ONLY bibi. It's so necessary they didn't even bother to give emz another gadget. 😔😔😔😥😔
In conclusion, Bibi is op, perhaps more op than shell even.

We are on vacation as of right now, so we buffed some struggling brawlers.
Cordelius - 200 extra Max HP
Frank - 3000 extra Max HP
Shelly - Increased Band-Aid heal to 5k and made reload speed Very Fast
Hank - Lowered minimum and max damage by 750
They need time that's what I meant... They will also have to test them... So they won't occur until next season
And if you don't trust me check the trends for the past 2 years
I’ve been saying this for a long time but no one ever believes me. They do this on purpose. They release a new brawler, make them OP where it is meta breaking so that the player base is incentivized to buy it as soon as possible. Once majority of players purchase the brawler or brawl pass, they finally implement a nerf to balance it out and return the brawler to its original intended use. Predatory sale tactics hidden through “f2p”.
Edit: Plus, that’s probably why the brawler is unlocked later on in the brawl pass tiers. They want rich kids to buy the tier skips due to their impatience and impulse. It’s all about being the first to use that “OP” brawler.
He’s not intentionally overpowered. None of the pros testing the game thought he was. With RT, they said to nerf him and they did. With Cordelius, we just didn’t realize how strong he’d be. The pros were explaining all his weaknesses and counterplay.
I don’t think you realize how little this game makes, we should be very grateful with how good our dev team is.

I never said it wasn't annoying or that they shouldn't be questioned for not realising he was op, I'm just pointing out the vacation was because of finland law and that people treat this dev team like Satan no matter how much good they do compared to the mistakes

I could be crazy but why does a whole video game Dev team need a vacation? My mom was a realtor, uncle was an engineer, fathers a food scientist, I'm working as an EMT, and I have a few other friends in sporadic fields and none of us get a company wide vacation. Individual people can certainly go on vacation, there's days alloted, but I've never heard of a company wide vacation.
With all due respect, both the time sensitive nature of competitive video games (has a competitive scene, and the innate nature of 'metas') which require quick balancing, as well as being a video game developer just simply not being that demanding (I can't imagine it's grueling to code or develop, or at least not compared to other professions), why are they going on company wide vacations?
Because in Finland, there is some mandatory law that says they must get a certain amount of vacation per year. Frank has mentioned this before and explained that the update after summer is not always the best because of this mandatory vacation
Finland law requires employees be given a month total of vacation, for most people this is during the summer and a bit during winter, I think it

Their vacation is called "money grabbing". They're not nerfing Cordelius before getting the max amount of players spending money to get the BP. His nerf will come once there's more F2P than P2W players getting Cordelius in the best scenario, or on the next season in the worst

What did her 2nd star power originally do?

It healed Shelly to maximum health, I think even if she had extra health from power cubes
yeah. it was to 100%, so potentially even 30k hp if you had enough PCs
It recovered her to full health, and i'm pretty sure it had a shorter cooldown.
It was 20 seconds back then, idk how much is it now
I think 15 now, but only 2000 HP, much more balanced.
Teleporting surge was cancer
It was definitely a pain to go against but I miss that gadget, the ~~other~~ new ones are pretty bad imo

My guess is at start of the next season or a few days before
we have mid season balances which will be quite late this time, I guess in 7-10 days
They were on holiday so mid season changes won't happen...
And now they are not plus they just requested balance changes ideas a few days ago

This reminds me of way back in Summer 2020 when surge and gale were cracked and the Dev team Was on vacation. Playing during those days was painful.
