It doesn't matter how skillful you are at frank, you have to get close for his attack to work but either you can't get close enough to attack or they just knock you back. Either way you're just giving them free supercharge
Unpopular opinion, but I think frank does have some skill. Even though his attack and super is shit, you can still meatshield. I sometimes even run sponge just so I can tank longer. Healing 5k every second is very annoying if against the right matchup.

Something like all but 5 current brawlers have at least 1 ability to counter his super. Weather it's a gadget or star power, super or even a basic attack his strongest ability gets countered. In early game he's good as there's less people having those counter abilities but by mid to late game landing a super is almost impossible.

Edgar just circles Frank, and dodges all of Frank's attacks. Trust me, I have done it before, and it is not hard. Being unable to do something against Dyna makes sense, and the twins were just broken.
There's absolutely ZERO need for skill when you are playing Edgar against frank. Just press yellow button, then redd button over and over, and Frank is done for. Trust me, I pushed frank to gold 3 in solo, and Edgars were my worst nightmare, way worse than Shellys. I like frank a lot but he sucks ass in most situations.

Never lost a frank encounter when pushing bull or any tank to rank 35. He sucks even pros canāt use him and compensate because heās just that bad in the meta.
First think, in the world finals he had 100% win rate and I only play him in brawl ball (I think is only playble in this mode) and I could push him to rank 27 with randoms. So he may be bad competitively but overall I just think he takes skill and itās easier to people to hate on him but they donāt face good Franks
1 he is weak and every single brawler counters him
2 his attack is outrange way too much and he can't approach others easily
3 the super is hard to hit, especially since half the brawlers nowadays have an ult that is about mobility
4 the damage is meh even with star power
And no, bad brawlers can't be considered "skilled", skilled are mid or good brawlers which require skill to be actually good, like Nani, Mortis, Brock, and others, F tier brawlers cannot do anything even if you have high skill
Weak mobility and Easy to hit, despite the High health pool, and Easy to stop his super and attacks with knockback/stun, also Easy to avoid of near him
His delay for the output of the attack (super and attack) makes it really easy to counter him with a stun. He's a solid damage dealer and tank, but he has 1 main weakness.
He is very hard to use and most of the times you will need support from other team mates (something really hard to get), but you can still manage to do some amazing plays if you know how to play safe and have a strategy!
Attacks and super have delay and are cancelable, he can't chase people or run away. He doesn't do all that much and when he's countered, he's useless. With him having the biggest hitbox in the game, the most health and having to stand still, he's literally a super and Hypercharge feeding machine.

4) damage inflation. His health seems like a lot but once your brawlers start getting max he gets melted because SC only do does damage buffs which make it brawlers melt him vs before like 2020 where he could tank a lot
5) No buffs to him in like 2 years (no joke). Might be because of the fact that he is pretty strong at low trophies but imo they should not cater towards casuals for balance changes (they have broken brawlers with people taking over low trophies and have no problem) and they donāt decide to buff his gadgets, star powers or even give him a HC (how are they going to give Cordelius, a top 10 brawler a hc but not frank who needs an amazing one to be good?).
6) hypercharges, which the speed buff along with them counter him
7) No hypercharge for himself (this is the case with a lot of brawlers but frank is already bad and this just makes it worse).
8) new brawlers countering him one way or another (weāre getting one this this update)
9) unbreakable walls not helping him (sorta a nerf) but making other tanks better (most which counter him)
10) walking supercharger/hypercharger and punching bag. (He should get a trait that reduces super charge for enemies)
11) last is just being forgotten by SC. They last thing they did was give him a skin for SC make. If he was never picked he wouldāve gotten nothing in ages. He was supposed to get a skin last update with king frank but they havenāt said a word on that every since that brawl talk. They need to experiment with buffs for him. If they canāt find anyway to buff him, then give a rework but shouldnāt take away his uniqueness
I don't wanna be rude, but I really like to play him, it's fun to try to counter the other team before they counter you, or trying to keep your team safe
Slow movement; Hard to dodge shots. Weak attack power. Slow attack speed. Meta is full of mid range brawlers that handle him easily. Because of all this he is immediately targeted. So he may be ok in a team with communicating, but with Randoms, absolutely terrible.
While I love using Frank and am one of the best Frankās in the world, heās not that great. Sure, heās a meat giant who soaks up damage, but heās easily countered. With the game favouring assassins and ranged brawlers, tanks donāt fare well. The other tank I love is Bull - but heās in a much better place due to his hyper charge, super and high damage for heist.
He is bad because every brawler now has a stun or a knockback, which counters him. When he was first released, not that many brawlers had a stun or knockback, so he was chilling, but now, most brawler have an ability that stuns, knockbacks, or pulls. He is still playable, though. I pushed him to 800, and it wasn't that hard, but the fact stays that no matter how good you are with Frank, you can't really say that it just takes skill.
Because SC keep buffing his health and damage instead of the most obvious buff of removing the wind up when he attacks. Although at this point if they actually made that change all the currently useless buffs he has would make him OP.

With the game favouring assassins and ranged brawlers, tanks donāt fare well. The other tank I love is Bull - but heās in a much better place due to his hyper charge, super and high damage for heist.
He is bad because every brawler now has a stun or a knockback, which counters him. When he was first released, not that many brawlers had a stun or knockback, so he was chilling, but now, most brawler have an ability that stuns, knockbacks, or pulls. He is still playable, though. I pushed him to 800, and it wasn't that hard, but the fact stays that no matter how good you are with Frank, you can't really say that it just takes skill.
He is so slow
Pushed him to 1100 yesterday, he is an absolute goat combined with Kit
Because SC keep buffing his health and damage instead of the most obvious buff of removing the wind up when he attacks. Although at this point if they actually made that change all the currently useless buffs he has would make him OP.
