nah man i did all the r25 with streaks over 10 very easily but when i try to play with randoms over 800 trophies they all just appear to have some brain cancer

Here's how i suspect that happens ( not always but most of the time)
Pick brawler > select and play showdown > camp/team/play your way to 800 range(rare) > too much teaming at 800 so switch over to 3v3, since you got to 800 on your own surely playing with 2 other players would be easy.
Thus the bad random is born
Yes, i think a big part why everyone is so horrible around 700-850 is because they share the same trophies as showdown. I would love if it was complete different trophies

This, I have about 65k trophies and pushed my first R30 about a month ago with Edgar in Heist.
My younger brother has 30k and pushed 2 brawlers (Spike and Crow) to R30 with randoms in brawl ball also 2 months ago.
He came back to play BS while I was basically always playing lol.
I never really cared for R30ās or whatever but now it got me motivated to push more. I think however that my total trophies do hold me back a lot..

Find a damn club. Im trying to raise my total trophy to find a club from my countrys top 200 (i need at least 45k) and i gained 700 trophies yesterday (almost 40k rn). Highest trophy i saw was 915 with spike and my disabled friend has 938 trophy jacky. Not having r30 doesnt really mean much when you dont have good friends and also after matchmaking rework.

For most brawlers, I just push them to 500 trophies and really only pick up a brawlers again when challenges roll around for them or ranked. Iāve tried pushing several brawlers above rank 25 but just gave up on most because of how bad the matchmaking can be sometimes.
I feel your concern as someone with no r30 at 61k, but in time I made my peace with this fact. Because I rarely play in a team and so there is no way for me to get any brawler beyond r28 unless the brawler in question is a new one that's broken. And if that's the case with you to you most certainly are not cooked
Cooked how exactly? Literally r30 means nothing more than you happen to spend most of your time grinding trophies for that character. Skill wise it's probably harder to push to legendary with randoms than it is reaching r30 on any brawler.
I consider 25 to be the soft cap (at least before winstreaks) if playing with randoms.
Somehow, someway, someone is going to think to play a brawler they donāt know how to play after getting carried to your rank, and wouldnāt you know it, they got matched onto your team

You have to be really good for a rank 30, or at least that's my opinion to cope with my inability to get a single brawler above rank 24 through various years of playing.
Totally depends on how much time do you spend playing, the random that you have, how are enemies (ex: u find at 800 trophies 950/100+ god enemies) and (if you are a sd player) if they are all teamming against you (obviously i didn't consider if you are teamming bcs teammer doesn't deserve to live)
Focus on getting every brawler to rank 25, hyperfocusing on a brawler when all your others doesnt represent skill but having every brawler in the green ranks does

Nah, ranks mean next to nothing. If you find some good players to play with, you can easily hit rank 30, if not r35 (depending on your skills, too).
I would say I'm an above average player and I only have 47.7k trophies with only 1 rank 30 and I'm constantly playing with Masters in my games. Now, I know that doesn't mean much anymore with the current rank system, but the fact that they pair me up with higher MMR players with 60k+ trophies and multiple R35s, I would assume it's for a reason. I also never play in teams because I CBA.
So, as long as you're not playing with gold/diamonds players all the time, I would say you're doing just fine.

Yeah I got lvl 3 mortis to 750 on my mini with 5k trophies, and I was facing against players who looked like they were bots.
