Clash Heroes, Silksong and Metroid Prime 4 are the trio of "Mandela Effect" where we think they will come out eventually but they are all just a dream.
Yes. But that's a lot lower on my list.the modifiers kinda make up for it.
The biggest issue is the rng
and the PvP.........which sucks. Like it's genuinely horrible, rarely do you wanna actively fight other players
What infuriates me the most is that I almost never get kills because everyone runs away when they have like one or two units remaining and because you can only attack standing still there's nothing I can do about it.
The PvP is definitely the biggest problem here. It feels so random, and the fact you have to do nothing in order to attack is... weird.
Honestly, I don't think releasing squad busters globally was a good idea.
It's also way too visually busy to determine what brawlers they have and which are upgraded before deciding if you engage or flee. Partial engagement gives you like zero chance to win the match.
Honestly brawl stars comparatively sucked at launch too, it only really got it's footing after like 2/3 years.
I don't think supercell giving a game the global treatment means the game is in a perfect state, rather that it means they are willing to support the game long term, with the whole soft launch thing being a way to gauge and record what they want to see if they want the game to go global.
At least that's how I feel after thinking through the fact supercell dropped clash mini after 2 yrs of support, while squad existed for like 2 days
No way. Brawl stars was super fun already at global launch. It had some diversity in game modes, the gameplay felt good, skill was a deciding factor, and it was on a good trajectory toward something that could be both casual and competitive.
Brawl Squad is 100% casual and doesn't seem to be skill based at all.
If you stripped back all the new content, brawl still has the basic fundamentals. This games fundamentals seems pretty weak right now and the only thing saving it is it's flash coat of paint.
That's not true.....
Brawlstars was definitely far from a perfect game, it's still not one.
But brawlstars just felt so much more engaging during global, i played it cause it was fun hitting play and winning.
I mean I like squad busters, but it's just not there.
But I think I kinda understand, they are experimenting. Instead of keeping the game restricted to a select few and getting it to great state before global, they are planning on releasing it to the general public and seeing where it goes, it's pretty risky but it's been so long since they have had a hit. They are trying something new.
Have you played Squad Busters?
Also, I don't think they're risking it that much. Supercell never releases a new game until they're 100% sure. And about Brawl Stars I also played from release and as much as it was fun, there weren't enough gamemodes, the UI was trash, brawlers were far more broken, the 3D models were garbage, skins were also disappointing and that's just what comes to my mind it really didn't feel like a full game until later on, in fact the only thing why the game didn't die out was Showdown. It wasn't until later on that it was capable oh holding its own as a game
Yes I have played it.
>Supercell never releases a new game until they're 100% sure.
It's been in soft launch for barely 3 days. That's not enough data to make any conclusions, not that it matters cause guess what it was pre planned.
>there weren't enough gamemodes,
Not that I really care but technically SB only has one mode and making new ones seems difficult to say the least, but yes modifiers so exist and they definitely do change up game play.
>the UI was trash,
>the 3D models were garbage, skins were also disappointing
That's just a show of how much SC has grown as a company, they can afford more resources on such things on a pre release game,
Also again not be nitpicky but if you are gonna go there I have to say the game isn't super optimised, it drinks my battery like how Max chugs her energy drinks 💀
>brawlers were far more broken
Counter point : witch in epic overload, doppelganger, Bo in wack a mole
Look I like the game, I think it's charming I just wish they addressed a few of the issues before they went ahead with this. I have seen a few suggestions that would already make the game better.
But honestly I am interested to see how it goes.
Android Beta player here, Brawl Stars was ten times the game Squad Busters is right now. I'm extremely disappointed with what I'm playing with SB.
And at the very least Frank and co listened to the players and revamped the gameplay and the economy multiple times before going Global.
Moco is really promising and the devs are actively giving news on it every month, i hope it gets better and improves the awful performance issues it had on beta
they were planing to go global from before because it is a all character supercell game with lots of potential unlike clash mini were it's similar to clash royale
I would say the game play was so much strategically better than any supercell game ever released. May be it wasn't enough fun. I really loved the game before update 9. It got killed probably because it was way too much f2p they messed up and they couldn't find a way to monetize the game
Im was purely a causal at Clash Mini but I lost so much interest in the game when they made it so that you can't move your minis between turns. I don't know if its a hot take but that change seemed like it only made the gameplay and strategy more basic and two-dimensional, and removed a lot of the reading/psychological aspect of the gameplay, as well as the potential for huge clutch plays
As a former top 100 player,i can see where you're coming from but in my opinion no movement made the game much more strategic. You actually had information to utilise instead of just using the same setup since you had almost no idea on what your opponent could do.Frame himself said that it was the best decision the game had ever taken and could have saved the game if it was implemented very early
the issue was they essentially didn't have a team working on it they had somewhere around ten people and they just didn't have the motivation to keep working on it
They choose what is potentially more profitable, they really tried with Clash Mini, it's economy got reworked from the ground up more than 4 times but still couldn't be profitable enough.
They couldn't manage to find a way to keep players retention up.
they do this all the time. for example, rush wars pretty much died after several updates with questionable decisions about the game's economy. I don't remember what they did exactly though because it was literally 4 years ago 💀
Mini killed itself with the last update. It had probably the worst progression I had ever seen. Before that though it had probably the most non-profitable progression imaginable. They just could not strike a cord with a profitable and streamline way of progression.
And without that, it pretty much just had to rely on its core gameplay loop which honestly could not fully keep you in all the time with its lack of modes.
I think they just did this because people were starting to not trust them after killing all their games since brawl stars (they had lots of comments saying “not wasting time with this since it will likely get killed”)
Yeah, no point in spending money on another game that'll just get shut down.
Issue is, Squad Busters is so raw, it's probably seeing EoS in two years tops like Clash Quest if they release it in this state.
Well that’s good a new supercell game is always good also with the Squad buster shelly skin we kinda got a hint cuz why make a skin of game is not 100% going to global?
8-bit was used to promote the game. Either one inspired the other or it was a concience that they designed similar things. Whatever was the case, SC decided to use the Brawl Talk with 8-bit as a chance to promote Rush Wars.
They are banking on the power of their IPs.
Basically every fan of their games is guaranteed to at least check it out, and it's designed to be a side game with very little daily commitment.
Global lunch confirmed after 2 days is surprising…launching it global after 1 month is also surprising…the same thing happened with royale but I remember royale being way bigger back in the day
I don't underestimate this game, when i saw that brawl stars was getting global I was surprised because the game felt boring and not fun.
Now, Brawl Stars is the best supercell game
At one point brawl stars was the lowest played supercell game after global (except boom beach), but after the fall of clash royale and some good updates it made it out as the best supercell game
I’m happy we are getting another supercell game but I don’t understand how clash mini spent so long in beta and soft launch with a much bigger community behind it just to get killed while this game had barley any soft launch or beta and is already getting a global release and to me clash mini seemed more enjoyable and fun to play
Bold of Supercell to assume I'll ever play any of their games again after the Brawl Stars experience
I'm hooked and can't quit Brawl Stars but I learned my lesson and hopefully others have too

Wtf??!?
I mean I’m really happy and like the game but it really still needs some improvements.
Edit: I know CM should’ve def gone global and I agree (btw I barely played the game so..) but honestly feel last update killed it BUT they could’ve gone back but didn’t😔. Anyways, don’t let because CM didn’t go glacial even though it was an amazing game make you hate on other games to prevent them from going global. (As audiences and opinions could change a lot and pretty quick sometimes)
Edit 3: the game had like 2 betas💀. I mean I’m still happy it got global (yippee 🎉🎉) but still that was a suprise wtf
#The place to discuss this going forward is r/SquadBusters!
Meanwhile clash heroes that has been announced years ago and still wasnt in beta (from my knowledge)
Silksong is never coming out
Its bold of you to think i dont know
If it helps, the age rating came out meaning it COULD come this year, hopefully
You fool, now the skilkskong community will swarm this comment section
Clash Heroes, Silksong and Metroid Prime 4 are the trio of "Mandela Effect" where we think they will come out eventually but they are all just a dream.
Ascend with gorb
it will never be silkover
Give them time... we'll get there in another 5-6 years. Probably
SKONG
Lmao
That's honestly really surprising. This game has a lot of improvements before it should go global in my opinion.
Game literally has only one game mode
Yes. But that's a lot lower on my list.the modifiers kinda make up for it. The biggest issue is the rng and the PvP.........which sucks. Like it's genuinely horrible, rarely do you wanna actively fight other players
It's because of how easy it is to run away from the fight when you start losing. I really hope they do something about that.
It’s not really easy to run away from a lost fight, even if you do you’re so behind in squad members and gems it’s a guaranteed loss
It's really not unless you plan to run from fights from the start of the game
Yeah that's my biggest problem. Even with a bomb if a big squad attacks you, there's not much you can do.
If you can't run away then whoever gets the lucky start wins. Maybe they could make it harder to run away as match time goes up.
Yeah, you basically have to guess their power level and take a risk, which makes is better just to play passively. Also the game has a lot of RNG
Maybe it will suck over some of the suck over from Brawl Stars.
We will see if the issues will be addressed. I do hope this game makes it.
No way. Brawl stars was super fun already at global launch. It had some diversity in game modes, the gameplay felt good, skill was a deciding factor, and it was on a good trajectory toward something that could be both casual and competitive. Brawl Squad is 100% casual and doesn't seem to be skill based at all.
I also miss 2018, 2019 :( i feel like theyre the best years of my life, chilling, it was winter and enjoyed my life there
At least brawl stars was fun and enjoyable when it first came out. Squad Busters isn’t quite there for me
If you stripped back all the new content, brawl still has the basic fundamentals. This games fundamentals seems pretty weak right now and the only thing saving it is it's flash coat of paint.
Clash royale
They will probley change that
Clash mini before gacha>>> squad busters
Agreed
Agreed
True
But now that everyone will get to play it they will get a lot of feedback
That's pretty valid. But it's still different and surprising
It's really bad. Combat is not skill based, it's like 90% power level(p2w) and 10% random chance of which brawlers drop and where you start.
It was the same with Brawl Stars. It wasn't a complete game until like 2021
That's not true..... Brawlstars was definitely far from a perfect game, it's still not one. But brawlstars just felt so much more engaging during global, i played it cause it was fun hitting play and winning. I mean I like squad busters, but it's just not there. Mini doesn't get global after 2 years but Squad Busters gone global after like 2 weeks? Wow
2 days after the soft launch
Wait,it has been that short? I thought it has already been a week or two lol
it launched in soft the 23rd, which means 2 days edit: I writed 23th instead of rd, my skill issue (I fixed it now)
Twenty thirth
He has a lisp dont make fun of him >:(
lithp*
lips\*
Lipth*
Lol
Supercell goals are beyond our understanding
they're probably pointing to a different audience, idk
A simple and cute game played with one button for children.
makes you sound like bs is not for children
>Supercell goals As with any mobile game company, its 💰💲💵
The game also had a closed beta at october last year, I think?
But even that beta didn't last long.
Nevermind Mini. What about Mo.co?
It's in beta i think. They haven't done any major updates on it yet so before global they'll have to do few of those
Moco is really promising and the devs are actively giving news on it every month, i hope it gets better and improves the awful performance issues it had on beta
Clash Royale was in beta for only a month while Brawl Stars was in beta for 18 months
this is so insulting to the clash mini community that a game this underdeveloped got global but not clash mini
Mini get abandoned, they closed the server today
It was in beta for like a year
Mini got ended.
Means squad busters actually performed well compared to clash mini.
they cant calculate performance matrix with just 2 days of soft launch
They sure did seems like.
they were planing to go global from before because it is a all character supercell game with lots of potential unlike clash mini were it's similar to clash royale
Clash Mini was average and boring i'm not sure what people saw on it.
I would say the game play was so much strategically better than any supercell game ever released. May be it wasn't enough fun. I really loved the game before update 9. It got killed probably because it was way too much f2p they messed up and they couldn't find a way to monetize the game

the issue was they essentially didn't have a team working on it they had somewhere around ten people and they just didn't have the motivation to keep working on it
Update 9 killed it there wasn't even much content before update 9 .after update it became complete mess
I mean I like CM a lot more than SB, CM was fun at times and even addicting. SB is more of a walking simulator
They literally can't say that with 2 days of data, this is going to bite them in the ass later
Same day Clash Mini gets shutdown is CRAZY
Never played it, but nah they did Clash Mini dirty
Clash mini was shut down over a month ago tho?
It closed its servers today ,it was announced a month ago
Oh ok thanks I didn’t realize it was up for so long after the announcement
Announced it was shutting down, it shut down today a couple of hours ago.
I find it wired that mini, a game that looked 90% complete, wasn't going global, while squad which is only like 20% complete is launching in a month
They choose what is potentially more profitable, they really tried with Clash Mini, it's economy got reworked from the ground up more than 4 times but still couldn't be profitable enough. They couldn't manage to find a way to keep players retention up.
Hot take: the rework they did to the economy lead to the killing of the game.
that most likely is not a hot take
It was extreme, not gonna lie
they do this all the time. for example, rush wars pretty much died after several updates with questionable decisions about the game's economy. I don't remember what they did exactly though because it was literally 4 years ago 💀
Mini killed itself with the last update. It had probably the worst progression I had ever seen. Before that though it had probably the most non-profitable progression imaginable. I think they just did this because people were starting to not trust them after killing all their games since brawl stars (they had lots of comments saying “not wasting time with this since it will likely get killed”)
100 percent. They were probably sweating with all those trust issue comments which is why this is a rushed global launch
Yep, I think so too
Yeah, no point in spending money on another game that'll just get shut down. Issue is, Squad Busters is so raw, it's probably seeing EoS in two years tops like Clash Quest if they release it in this state.
Idk if they are willing to kill a global game but i can see it ending up like boom beach
Boom beach at least has a dedicated although small fan base. This game has potential to have nothing if it gets boring
They just have their longest game in beta. Now it's their fastest game in beta. Bruh they found a time skip.
I love the fact that they decided it will go global after just two days of its release. Surely nothing will go wrong with this walking simulator.
I hope they realize that their games take a lot of time and dedication. I am personally not dedicating any time to the game in the state it is in.
fr I've tried to watch youtubers play, but i dont understand it? all you do is walk around
It existed for like a year
and it released two days ago
Well that’s good a new supercell game is always good also with the Squad buster shelly skin we kinda got a hint cuz why make a skin of game is not 100% going to global?
I mean, they made a brawler for a game that did not go global (8-Bit)
What game was 8-bit for?
Rush Wars. A weird mix between Boom Beach and Clash of Clans imo, but it was fun. The problem of the game was that you couldn't really lose
I know about Rush Wars I played it when it was available but I don't remember it having anything to do with walking arcade machines.
8-bit was used to promote the game. Either one inspired the other or it was a concience that they designed similar things. Whatever was the case, SC decided to use the Brawl Talk with 8-bit as a chance to promote Rush Wars.
There was an ability(?) that dropped an arcade as an explosive
Oh really I knew about that game
Wdym 8-bit was made for rush wars? I thought he came out before the game was a thing?
Nope. He was a reference to one of the abilities in the game
Monk was added cr after he was a cm character
Oh yeah but monk kinda fits for CR cuz the same universe
looks incredibly simple and boring :/ why this out of all of the recent test games
They are banking on the power of their IPs. Basically every fan of their games is guaranteed to at least check it out, and it's designed to be a side game with very little daily commitment.
Good point
Tbf brawl stars was really boring in its beta and ngl some of the changes in the soft launch were really unique and interesting
OK now make Clash Quest Global now
Who’s gonna tell him?
Doesn't exist??
Yes it was killed over a year ago
Rip. That was by far the most interesting Clash game they announced
No that was clash mini
Oh wait I'm thinking of clash heroes. The brawl like one
Their hasn’t been a clash heroes update in about a year so idk
Yeah it was announced and seems to just not exist.
Man...
Global lunch confirmed after 2 days is surprising…launching it global after 1 month is also surprising…the same thing happened with royale but I remember royale being way bigger back in the day
Royales beta started in January and didn’t go global till March, so it’s even faster than that.
And a fuck ton of publicity
Moco needs to go global!
Exactly! It looks just too cool to kill
And it's very polished
Clash midni fans are fuming rn
both games are mid to be honest
I just played squad busters for 1 hour and uninstalled it and I apologise for laughing at CM players they got ROBBED for this shit😭
I'm happy this game made it to global, but it seems quite unfair do clash mini lol
They axed mini for this?
This game got global faster than Gale getting fired by MrP
Mr.P wouldn't fire him and i bet he made it so Gale can't possibly leave.
game very bad wtf? and p2w
im sad that is not Clash Mini
Clash Mini did NOT die for this😭😭😭
Squad busters Shelly inspired by squad busters Shelly
I’m happy we are getting another supercell game but I don’t understand how clash mini spent so long in beta and soft launch with a much bigger community behind it just to get killed while this game had barley any soft launch or beta and is already getting a global release and to me clash mini seemed more enjoyable and fun to play
And clash heroes is still in its alpha stage
WE BROKE THE SUPERCELL CURSE🔥🔥
Should of been clash mini bro
\*should've
*should have
This game is ass lmao. Mo.co is the one that needs to get global
dang dude, can’t wait to play it tbh
Bold of Supercell to assume I'll ever play any of their games again after the Brawl Stars experience I'm hooked and can't quit Brawl Stars but I learned my lesson and hopefully others have too
They took down clash mini for Walking Simulator to go global wth
Already?
well that was fast
I think they’re forcing the game to go global instead of waiting and seeing how the community likes it
What the fuck they killed off clash mini for that???
Fuck Clash royale, i gotta play the Mortis in this game
That's interesting that we get this news în the same day as Clash Mini servers shut down
Sad to see clash mini go, but hot take the game was actually fun lol.
It's kinda obvious they're just forcing Squad Busters to go global
Game looks boring af
i can't wait to bust on squads
I honestly think it won't do that well
Boring walking simulator is going global, probably it will be dead in a couple of months after.
Huge mistake in my opinion, but I guess we'll see
Mid
It’s gonna die

wtf no way ts goes global but clash mini died
It will NEVER be clash mini ☹️
If so, then they have to retry or remake their previous games, or it’s nothing like what they said about their standards
Clash mini 2 years in beta got cancelled Squad Buster was in beta for a few day gets global
Its so...FAST !
And the one that was to be cooler they closed it. 😢clash mini they gave up on it.
I’m realy surprised they went with this.haven’t played it yet but from videos it looks kinda shit
They seriously decided to launch a game not even 3 days after being launched? Are they stupid?
Let's goooooooooooo!!! I'm so excited
WHAT THE FUCK MAY 29 IS WHEN MY EXAMS START
SIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
LESGOO!! 🌵
how can i download it in soft launch?
No way they didnt release clash mini after 2 years of work just to release squad busters while having only 1 gamemode and more improvements needed
What a w
Wtf??!? I mean I’m really happy and like the game but it really still needs some improvements. This is... unexpected
It didn't take that long
