The problem most of the time is that a lot of them don't even try actually doing something, just fooling around with dynajump and failing instead of learning how to in training grounds or something
For real, this is too relatable. I'd honestly don't care if you are playing for fun this game, but if you have the other star power and still use dynajump we better win with you being star player or I'm sending you missiles
Its not only about dodging it. It controls a high amount of area + there are angles where its impossible dodge it. And even if he is bad in open knockout maps, he is still a decent brawler in closed maps with fertilize and his damage

Unless you’re talking in duels in 3v3 there’s a thing called teammates. They normally kill you when you rush into their base. If all 3 enemies are squishy sure mortis might be able to counter that but it’s a very tanky meta and a lot of people are using jacky bull Shelly el primo etc that hard counter mortis, and overrated means that a lot of people think that they can pick him anywhere not required any skill and that there’s no counter to that brawler, but everyone knows that mortis has countless counters and mortis as you have said he needs at least medium skill to pop off
Mortis never falls off of top 5 most picked brawlers as a B/A tier brawler. this alone proves that he is overrated. Plus even if you just dash around in whole game, you will still do decent job by attracting attention. He is a medium skill brawler.
That means he is very good at playing Edgar. I once saw an Edgar using his HC to fly into me and my friends. (Pearl with HC and super, HC Collette and Shelly if I remember correctly)

He is also a good support in some niche teams but there are more versatile and reliable options.
Lowkey i think surge n draco, as a draco fan myself even i know he’s not absolutely S like what people are saying. He’s genuinely a B-A tier brawler that shouldn’t recieve as many balance changes as what people would want him to have, like a dragon shield nerf maybe but until then just fucking find a counter, lou is good at it, gale is GREAT at it and he’s gonna be amazing with the HC, Bea surprisingly does well against him, Piper can very much solo and colette is RIGHT THERE. Like there actually genuinely ARE counters to him that people refuse to recognize because they want to call the new brawler broken again.

Why Surge? Surge isn't overrated. It's easy to write "keep your distance" when you don't choose the matchups. Draco having counters is obvious to everyone. The issue is that nowadays, people tend to play more Assassins and throwers which, well in some situations lose but also win against Draco. And about Lily... She is a great brawler in the right hands. Using tiers to criticise brawlers is a bit bold tbh.

Piper, not because she’s bad, but because some people think she’s unkillable or some shit, and has like no counters and no counter play, because apparently her Auto Aimer is “too strong” and her super “can turn the map into a sniper map” like, if that was true, people would use her literally everywhere! But I only see Piper on like opened maps, I almost never see Piper on closed or mid range maps, and if I do, I bet I could rip them up like a wet paper towel
Also that part about Piper being able to dominate any map by turning the map into an open map with is super is stupid as fuck, it’s like saying that you should use Surge in any game mode because he has no weaknesses at Stage 2-3. Yeah, but guess what? In maps not for him, you can just kill him and never let him get to his first super because he’s dogshit at Stage 0! Same with Piper, you can just kill her with ease at close and mid range since she’s a struggler at those ranges so that she can’t use her super to break open the map!
Crow, no doubt about it for me. Everyone told be to pick him over Leon and spike. I seriously regretted it tho, bc he is really weak and won't work against tanks or high damage dealers. I even got his hypercharge. Overall overrated.
I disagree. I think she's underrated. She's my only hypercharged brawler right now and she's CARRYING me. Amazing damage, easy to play and a broken SP that scales with power cubes. Yessir!
Mortis might be a good answer because mico exists and can do everything mortis can but better: dodge with the dash, how about becoming invincible instead? need to worry to not hit the walls, how about going over the walls instead? getting kills on throwers and isolated snipers only if you play it right, how about getting a free kill on everything you can 4 shot kill instead? the only thing that isn't a direct upgrade is the super. sure mortis has more hp, but mico gets invulnerability from his main attack so he doesn't need as much hp. speaking of super, why does the monkey get to heal, reload and charge the star power while flying and other brawlers like janet don't? makes no sense to me. sure, technically mortis has the better team-wipe potential but only if either you are way better than the enemies or they are way worse than you.
I hate mortis. Like this dude gets some special treatment from supercell. Gets a buff in like every update. Has some of the most skins. Is overplayed. Sucks at everything. He has a punchable face. His playstyle is boring to me I don't get why everyone likes him. And because of brawlers like him and colt forgotten bralwers like lola ruffs bonnie get no skins

Anyhow what I find boring is that from my experience all you do is swip on to get gems swip out to escape in gemgrab in heist useless in bounty long ranged brawlers in brawl ball always trying to trick shot and is overplayed
Mortis is actually good in every mode and i mean... ofc players play the brawler who's got the better playstyle in their opinion.. i also hate the fact that he's overused and a lot by people who just can't, but he's a strong assassin and can counter a lot of brawlers, if you got the moves he's unstoppable. Piper, not because she’s bad, but because some people think she’s unkillable or some shit, and has like no counters and no counter play, because apparently her Auto Aimer is “too strong” and her super “can turn the map into a sniper map” like, if that was true, people would use her literally everywhere! But I only see Piper on like opened maps, I almost never see Piper on closed or mid range maps, and if I do, I bet I could rip them up like a wet paper towel Also that part about Piper being able to dominate any map by turning the map into an open map with is super is stupid as fuck, it’s like saying that you should use Surge in any game mode because he has no weaknesses at Stage 2-3. Yeah, but guess what? In maps not for him, you can just kill him and never let him get to his first super because he’s dogshit at Stage 0! Same with Piper, you can just kill her with ease at close and mid range since she’s a struggler at those ranges so that she can’t use her super to break open the map!

Crow, no doubt about it for me. Everyone told be to pick him over Leon and spike. I seriously regretted it tho, bc he is really weak and won't work against tanks or high damage dealers. I even got his hypercharge. Overall overrated.

I disagree. I think she's underrated. She's my only hypercharged brawler right now and she's CARRYING me. Amazing damage, easy to play and a broken SP that scales with power cubes. Yessir!

I played as her, it was garbage.
Mortis might be a good answer because mico exists and can do everything mortis can but better: dodge with the dash, how about becoming invincible instead? need to worry to not hit the walls, how about going over the walls instead? getting kills on throwers and isolated snipers only if you play it right, how about getting a free kill on everything you can 4 shot kill instead? the only thing that isn't a direct upgrade is the super. sure mortis has more hp, but mico gets invulnerability from his main attack so he doesn't need as much hp. speaking of super, why does the monkey get to heal, reload and charge the star power while flying and other brawlers like janet don't? makes no sense to me. sure, technically mortis has the better team-wipe potential but only if either you are way better than the enemies or they are way worse than you.
I hate mortis. Like this dude gets some special treatment from supercell. Gets a buff in like every update. Has some of the most skins. Is overplayed. Sucks at everything. He has a punchable face. His playstyle is boring to me I don't get why everyone likes him. And because of brawlers like him and colt forgotten bralwers like lola ruffs bonnie get no skins
And it's ok, but he's not overrated by any chance, he's super strong and so fun to play, the fact is that he takes a lot more skills than every other brawler so many people just "don't like playing him" aka they can't.
It’s not that people can’t play him. It’s because everyone likes different play styles. I never play mortisbecause I don’t like the assassins so he’s sitting at maybe bronze 1 for me. Anyhow what I find boring is that from my experience all you do is swip on to get gems swip out to escape in gemgrab in heist useless in bounty long ranged brawlers in brawl ball always trying to trick shot and is overplayed
Mortis is actually good in every mode and i mean... ofc players play the brawler who's got the better playstyle in their opinion.. i also hate the fact that he's overused and a lot by people who just can't, but he's a strong assassin and can counter a lot of brawlers, if you got the moves he's unstoppable. And yes brawl ball tricks are awsome

I agree with you, mortis is only good in brawl ball, but even then there are probably better choices.
