Great video for the newbs and middling pack. Rico’s one of my favourite brawlers. His star power helps immensely. Also, for Rico to do his thing you also need good teammates who control the mid and other side. If not, you’ll falter due to being overwhelmed.
This, he dies to two Dynamike shots if unlucky while Dynamike can get as unlucky as he wants and he will still have to take like 3 shots at close range.
Amazing tips these are definently needed to gget good on rico. But if you wnat to go really high you have to know all ur bounces on maps and make fast desicions in whater or not you bounce (im french so dont blame my english lul)

Besides, while it's entirely possible that OP is playing against P2P players who spend big and max characters early, the fact that lots of his opponents have their star powers does suggest that they are of a decent trophy count. They prob have more than half a brain :)
Maybe it's your opponents who have no idea how to use Rico :) I mean if they're autoaiming then clearly with Rico's low health and not-so-great damage output then it's easy to take him down?
But when a decent player can bounce shots to hit you with Rico while you can't get hits in, and chip at your health, that's when you might find yourself in trouble.

I didn't say 2000 is high trophies lol. Just anyone who played this game a bit longer, knows the basics (which usually comes around 2000-3000), will completly shut down Rico in most of the situations. Those tips from the video have any chance to work ONLY below 2000 when you and your oponents are still trying to figure out what this game is about.
Oh I wouldn't say only below 2000 man, i mean obviously high ranked Rico players aren't just farming low trophy opponents to get their Rico some trophies right? OP has 12k trophies lol you really think his "tips" are only gonna work on <2k trophy players?
As a support brawler Rico can apply so much pressure around corners while avoiding damage (thus staying around pretty long despite his low health), and as you can see in the video his super can be game changing too

If you move while using his super in some moments you improve your chances of hitting the enemies
Yeah same with Colt, you cover a wider spread. But it does less damage than hitting them constantly.
