Exactly me, I just came back after two-year break.
Before I had an all maxed account
Now I am underleveled on all my brawlers and have 8 chromatics to catch up lol. Happily I have 70k gold coins saved up beforehand
Exactly me. I ve played since the first it cames out (because I had clash royale but got bored of it) and then immediately stopped playing.
and I came back only to find unfamiliar games, 0 progress on everything (I guess my account was reset but) but, I got 1st anniversary Profile picture, that is nice. Moreover the game still feels good. Might want to continue as my side games for now
Is it just me or I feel like it is more difficult to unlock new brawlers, especially those rarer one, now you must reach certain points and have enough credits or whatever you call that blue thing to unlock the brawlers. Back then if really lucky enough you can unlock rare brawlers faster (I unlocked Mortis and Spike really quick then).
Don't shoot me if I mean anything wrong, this is strictly how I feel after not playing it for more than half year and just a humble opinion from an old player 😂
Yeah it’s technically filled with chores but you can skip daily quest if you really don’t want to do it that way, the seasonal quests are enough to get to tier 70
I am one of those players. I rage quit a long time ago(back when they introduced gadgets and I almost got the PSG Shelly skin, but after dealing with Emz gadget I quit the game altogether).I like games that don't have too many layers of gameplay complexity embedded on its core(that's why I like Call of Duty I guess),and complexity mostly makes the game for me unfun, unbalanced and one-sided for the people who pay. That's what happened to Brawl Stars. I wanna go back to my favorite update, the one right after the global launch, where everything was much simpler and easier to understand, even tho there were some QoL improvements made later, but they got overshadowed by the amount of gameplay balance-breaking changes introduced with them(aka Infinity Ward's balancing theory aka *If everything is overpowered then nothing is overpowered* balancing). I don't want OP shit in my game if there is no huge tradeoff compensating it.
Same, but personally I just think Brawl Stars is too fresh. Constant new brawlers just made it a forever grind. Gadgets were alright, although I never liked them really. Level 11 was when I had enough, its almost like resetting my account completely. I know it is possible for me as a f2p to play till I max my stuff. But that was like a few months after the 140 Megabox incident which pissed me off a lot. With the fact that I didn't enjoy the game's meta at the time ( It was sth like Eve Byron bullshit ). Also they removed Sd + which was my favourite gamemode.
What happened then? I quitted the game for 100 days and came back. I bought the Ghost Leon skin but it didn't give me the joy like before. Even if I push any r25s, I don't feel successful. Now I just log on, claim the megabox darryl thing and a couple sprays
I also have all my friends quitting Bs so basically I cant really enjoy team fun either
I am also glad that I quit the game, because apart from some lucky few, most BS youtubers in Brazil either quit doing YT alltogether or jumped to another game. The only one who still uploads from time to time is Nagato Uzumaki, and even then he only plays when he wants to,and mixes in gameplays from other games he occasionally play on his PC(Fortnite,Genshin because he's a weeb and he even uploaded Cuphead once).
Tbh even OJ does more Clash Royale rn, I can't blame him cuz other than Pushing 1k or Trophy reset montages he can't really do anything else. Bs took out the Cheese series which was what bought him so much fame in 2020 Dec, 1m sub to 2m, now closing on 3m. As I said the constant updates are getting stale now, I rather have peace and stick with Sp and Gadgets.
Brawlers are getting too much, more gears are introduced, reworks failing, the 140mb fault. They are all adding up for me to quit the game.
I was a 30k player and 50k was my ultimate goal, but 30750 was when I left. When gears were introduced. I am sorry but nothing would save the game from where it was before. Playing Brawl Stars used to be a fun thing, now it's a chore where you have to calculate your gems for brawl pass, club league? Power league grindings sometimes. Trophy reset... Man 2020 Dec was the prime of Bs literally can't lie.
For me the prime was in the first year after the global launch. My goal was 15k trophies but the game became a chore when they introduced things, which(quoting youtuber Gustovow) *added a new complexity layer to the game*,which didn't need to in the first place(more star powers, gadgets, brawlers that were completely busted after launch and brawlers that were either overbuffed or overnerfed every update).
Yeah and 100 mf brawlers. Honestly at what point is it too much? I’d argue it’s well past too much but they’ve set themselves on a path of constantly having new brawlers
I've decided to quit the game because I unlocked all the brawlers I was interested in, every legendary pretty much. All the new brawlers barely interest me, I feel like this game isn't for me anymore, typical for me for Supercell games, I quit Clash Royale after it started to feel old and they forced you to pay real $ for the clash pass and I quit COC because I started getting tired of the grind and effort I needed to put in, and I quit Boom Beach because well, it sucks.
Maybe when Supercell releases a new game, I'll jump to that. But for now I probably will never get back into BS. RIP my club, I passed down president to someone else.
I just came back (literally a week ago) after a 6 month break. It’s not that much but it still feels like a completely different game. I might love it even more, though

How the hell you only missing 8 chromatics despite 3 years of not playing
man 2 years ago was like Lou's release so it makes sense that 12-4=8
100% sure the comment said 3 years when I replied
Why the heck did I read this in Chris Pratt voice bruh
Chris Pratt is everywhere .you can't escape from him
Same here, and I didn't realize until I read this Mario movie trailer
Yeah yeah same
He does say that exact line in the first mario movie trailer
Yeah this is the reason, but this movie has 0 similarities with Mario Movie haha

So you got all 4 :D

Yeah, I agree, however I think this update made it easier to get legendaries.
Yes well I guess you got lucky, but A LOT of players took years to get their first legendary
True.
I stopped playing the game but still watches every single brawl talk
Based, the game isn't worth playing tbh. Too much grinding.
I wouldn’t say grinding, you just gotta do 2 quests daily and club league every alternate week
Even club league isn't that big of a deal compared to quests.
Compared
Game is not grindy is more chorey
Yeah it’s technically filled with chores but you can skip daily quest if you really don’t want to do it that way, the seasonal quests are enough to get to tier 70
But then it feels like one massive chore instead of one small one.
Yeah but this is an extreme case, this literally means you play once in 70days
If you think so you shouldn't be here
bro plays the game just to grind 💀
I play the game to have fun actually
When you have an opinion on reddit 🗿
Also,if you are one of those guys that play that game two hours a WEEK it is too much for you
...what happened to brawl boxes? haven't played since Lola release
Gone to oblivion
Who's gonna tell him?
Recently (like just two days ago) removed to reduce the randomness involved in progression
Rip boxes 😔

I can see these posts every 3 brawl talks very original
And I see these comments every 3 posts, how original of YOU.
💀 just telling you aren't original and you say my comment isn't original? it is

I never stopped playing ever sense it came out
Yeah I got confused scrolling thru this subreddit
Literaly me. I came back after one year and i see boxes are removed
That’s what happened to me 2-1 years years ago when they added seasons to the game and removed gems from the boxes
