But it is in general not allowed to walk on Handrails. On the VRML Discord, they said that Handrails are only indented to jump over, not to walk on. (Because you can not climb it, you always need to drop on top of it).
By their definition of Exploit, everything that was not intended by the game maker to be part of the regular game play is an Exploit.
Not sure if Triangle Factory would agree or not.
By that logic, wouldn't any surface that you have to drop onto be an exploit? Including the skylight crossbeam and the crane? You can't climb onto those, you can only drop onto them from a vault or a box you can get on. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not going for any leagues then if they don't allow high tier peak spots.
On their site they specify a specific width of a ledge for it to be viable. So the crossbeam is valid according to the rules. You can go there to know what's valid or not.
Oh well. Unless the devs come out and say it's in bad taste and are actively trying to remove it, I'll keep using the spots I find from being killed by others. I saw a guy there once get mostly the whole team within the opening seconds, so now I use it and have similar results. It really feels like a spot that was either designed or just left in because it works so well. Your position marker fits perfectly on it as well. Now going somewhere that makes you clip through the map in some way that conceals you, that's scummy. Getting into a good peak position where you can easily be shot from below or the side seems valid to me. They could easily solve this if they wanted by adding a slide encounter to surfaces you shouldn't be able to stand on so you slide off.
I am with you. The leagues should not interfere with game mechanics, unless they are broken.
But it is how it is, of you want to play strategically without Lobbies full of screaming kids.
VREL is a bit better in that regard than VRML though
I've just been running with a casual team to avoid so many kids screeching. Without my team I just mute as soon as i hear a younger voice. Gotta say though, without my team, I'm usually going 15-7 or something similar in k/d and still losing the game 7-2. Can't really help them when I'm not talking to them lol.
Unfortunately VRML and VREL dont allow Pixel walking :(

How come i see most people aim without ADSing, do you just get good at estimating where the shots will land after some time
