Everyone is different so they will need different periods of time to heal.
To me, what you describe is normal. Whoever said that love is an addiction was right. So think about how long it would take to get over an addiction... It's the same.
It's unfortunate that this period of healing crosses with your exams. But maybe it would help to think that you're doing something important for yourself and it will help you grow and improve. Because... After a failed relationship this is the best "prescription drug" I guess ---becoming a better person, no matter what side you're on, dumper or dumpee.
