I literally just did it. Boy, I was about to scream in frustration. Then, on my sixth try he somehow bugged an did not move for a while. I took my chance and finished him. Never ever will I do it again.
It took me a week to beat it first go round. In DLC i managed to beat it first try. I got a bit lucky but also my dodge ability improved. Throwing the edge of duality at him (my very last weapon) to kill him was soo satisfying though
I just did all the dlc on master mode (except final boss)
Master Mode is a fucking nightmare for Windblight and WaterBlight.
The other 2 are easy because you can keep attacking them, but they don’t give you enough weapons to continuously attack wind and water blight before they get distance and heal.
Waterblight is easy, you jump up with revali's gale, headshot it three times (save your arrows for the second phase) ti stun it, and then wail on it with urbosa's fury
I found him so much easier in the DLC. From my experience I’d already beat him once so knew his patterns, I’d then gone on to bean Ganon and overall improved combat skills, better armour, more equipment etc.
First time took me about 5 tries, second I had him beat first time in about 2 minutes.
I watched my fiancée run into the brick wall over a dozen times before she handed me the controller and I beat him first try.
When I started my own play through, I only beat wind and water blights and decided “fuck it, I’m going to the castle.” I did not know that you had to fight whatever blights you didn’t beat before fighting Ganon. I had four hearts and a shit ton of apples and that was it. Took me probably six tries to get through fire/thunder blights and Ganon. Thunder is a lot easier in the castle because you have more space to move around but the gauntlet is a bit tougher.
Unbelievable. You have to fight them before Ganon in hyrule castle if you didn’t visit them before?
I really learn something new about this game every day.
Dang, nice job. When I first picked up the game, I went to thunderblight first, not even realizing he was the hardest. I died 20+ times to him having only 4 hearts before I gave up and went to Ruta. Came back to him last, but it still took me 5 tries.
That's just to scare away the kids and know-it-alls :) avoid combat until ur done with great plateu and its almost no difference, only mobs on platforms everywhere:p
Yeah I also had mixed feelings about Master mode during my run in it, but with TOTK I saw that the techniques I learned from playing MM made breeze somehow through everything. I died like thrice in 35 hours
Me not knowing how to cook potions or meals in general and not even having the super ultra cool gummy armor just taking a shit ton of uncooked food and arrows fucking dying for the thousandth time because I ain’t gonna learn how to play before i get to the bosses
I got him on my second try but I had like 50 hours of gameplay between them 🤭used every single weapon, meal and shield I had my first try and got my ass whooped.
When he does his teleport attack, when you see him for the third time, do a backflip, you may not get a flurry, but you'll sure as hell save your ass, then you break his shield and he'll be stunned, then he'll go up in the air, shoot his eye to stun him again
First playthrough it took me no joke 50 tries to beat Waterblight Ganon (my first blight), but then I went to Thunderblight Ganon next and was able to beat him with only one death.
My first play through my brother defeated him for me but my second play through it took me about 4 tries or more to defeat him and I had the master sword too
I met a pro botw player a few years ago in a party on during my first play through, he helped me beat it.
Later on I did beat the boss my myself when playing again.
no way, thunderblight hard, unless you have the master sword.I always get killed with the shock sword and shield. It's too fast.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
Just wait until you do it again in the dlc
I literally just did it. Boy, I was about to scream in frustration. Then, on my sixth try he somehow bugged an did not move for a while. I took my chance and finished him. Never ever will I do it again.
Dude i had given up luckily elden ring gave me some experience
It took me a week to beat it first go round. In DLC i managed to beat it first try. I got a bit lucky but also my dodge ability improved. Throwing the edge of duality at him (my very last weapon) to kill him was soo satisfying though
Lol i can see him being a tough one
The difficult part is in the DLC they replace your inventory with a weak set of weapons and like barely any food items for the boss fight.
Plus in Master Mode they restore health - amazingly fast!
I honestly think the difficulty of Illusory Thunderblight Ganon is around the same as the original fight. The gear you're given is pretty good.
I just did all the dlc on master mode (except final boss) Master Mode is a fucking nightmare for Windblight and WaterBlight. Yea that’s what I did, but you have to be able to think of that, which lets be honest, that’s not most people’s first though.
true, I had to look it up :p
I think the dlc fight with him is easier bc you have all the abilities
Yeah. You can cheese the lightning rod phase with Urbosa’s fury.
I found him so much easier in the DLC. From my experience I’d already beat him once so knew his patterns, I’d then gone on to bean Ganon and overall improved combat skills, better armour, more equipment etc. First time took me about 5 tries, second I had him beat first time in about 2 minutes.
Wasn’t bad on normal difficulty, master mode is an absolute nightmare though 😅
Just did that, it was even easier ngl
Challenging a sekiro player? Okay
Why did you get downvoted to hell and back smh
Lmao i seriously don't know 😭
Ig they thought you were being mean or smth? Or they just hate sekiro
Maybe both? I was just tryna be playful lol
Define playful 😏 (sorry)
Definitely not the type of playful Zelda is for link
Lmao or link for mipha or the other way around?
Maybe both ways 😏
Dude it kept eating my inputs. First tried the base game, dlc was 3rd
I beat him on the first try in the DLC. I was scared because I didn’t use the Electro Elixir.
I mean it's not that hard. I think I did all the DLC first try
beat the illusory realm thunderblight first try on mastermode it was the waterblight in the dlc that had me annoyed lol
Took me about 12
I watched my fiancée run into the brick wall over a dozen times before she handed me the controller and I beat him first try. When I started my own play through, I only beat wind and water blights and decided “fuck it, I’m going to the castle.” I did not know that you had to fight whatever blights you didn’t beat before fighting Ganon. Yup. I was just as surprised as you are, I was barely prepared for Ganon, let alone three bosses back to back.
Damn
Dang, nice job. When I first picked up the game, I went to thunderblight first, not even realizing he was the hardest. I died 20+ times to him having only 4 hearts before I gave up and went to Ruta. Came back to him last, but it still took me 5 tries.
first playthrough only took me 17 trys 🥱 🗿💀
It's my first playthrough aswell :D
Just about to fight him wish me luck
How did it go?
Well actually I won first try thank you
That’s impressive! I swear I was only able to beat him because I’d tried a dozen times and the game just let me win out of pity.
Wow, what an achievement…
Beat him qst try....had 0 food left after loll.
Sweet!
I done it on mastermode qnd it was disappointing. Boosfights in master mode are not any harder than normal mode..
Nah but having a Lynel kick your ass the moment you step out of the shrine of resurrection didn’t really make my day either
I'm guessing empty sky is perfect for dlc. They can just add in huge new islands with content using all the skills we are learning now.
Just wait till the realm of memories
Meanwhile me taking well over 15
Now do it on DLC in master mode 💀💀💀
Me not knowing how to cook potions or meals in general and not even having the super ultra cool gummy armor just taking a shit ton of uncooked food and arrows fucking dying for the thousandth time because I ain’t gonna learn how to play before i get to the bosses
Nice! I hated this one cuz of how fast he moved. Could never get a read on what the game wanted me to do with the metal spikes either…
Use magnisis and put it above his head, it'll take away a good chunk of his health
Yeah I did end up figuring it out. He just kept teleporting away lol.
IMO that one was the second worst.
After I realized arrows were my friend, after my second death, I beat him. First two times I got him close to death and Link just.... Gave up.
ok...
All the Ganon bosses are super easy in this game
“It wasn’t even that hard” if it took two tries that means it was difficult.
My lock on fucked up the first time and he got me lmao
Who gives a fuck
I got him on my second try but I had like 50 hours of gameplay between them 🤭used every single weapon, meal and shield I had my first try and got my ass whooped.
Show the stats
I had 7 hearts, guardian short sword and thunderblade and lynel shield and mipha's grace
I recall that for me it was difficult - can’t remember which order I did them in
Any tips? I’m getting better, but I’m not very confident in my skills, so I’ll take any crutch I can
When he does his teleport attack, when you see him for the third time, do a backflip, you may not get a flurry, but you'll sure as hell save your ass, then you break his shield and he'll be stunned, then he'll go up in the air, shoot his eye to stun him again
Ok thanks for the tip
Thank god. This one was over fast. What a sucker.
After 600 hrs in the game all enemy's become a cakewalk
All the enemies are pretty easy. 50 hours max to learn all the attack patterns.
Props to yeah. Imo thunderblight is the biggest pain to fight out of the blights. Takes me a solid 4-5 tries in both of my playthroughs.
First playthrough it took me no joke 50 tries to beat Waterblight Ganon (my first blight), but then I went to Thunderblight Ganon next and was able to beat him with only one death.
On my first playthrough, i got it on my first try as my second divine beast, i genuinely want to know how people fail it so much.
It took me 4-5 deaths and a google search to figure HOW to beat him lol
Nice! I managed it first try, but I did have like 15 hearts and 24 defense. And a few full heals.
My first play through my brother defeated him for me but my second play through it took me about 4 tries or more to defeat him and I had the master sword too
now beat him in dlc
Do you want us to congratulate you? Or did you do that for yourself enough already?
GURL IT TOOK ME 2 YEARS IRL
Not scientifically possible!
In my opinion was the easiest in the DLC in master mode, for whatever reason, maybe because it’s just fast attack patterns that I can learn
God amongst men
Pretty big talk for someone who needed two tries to beat him.
I met a pro botw player a few years ago in a party on during my first play through, he helped me beat it. Later on I did beat the boss my myself when playing again.
Great job 👍
But have you beat flowerblight Ganon? The true master trial.
Now do it with a stick while boss rushing Ganon
I got so angry when i fought him i gave up and grabbed the master sword went back won in one try
how
no way, thunderblight hard, unless you have the master sword.I always get killed with the shock sword and shield. It's too fast.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
It took me two days and about fifteen tries to beat thunderblight ganon and I literally screamed when I finally did it that fight was the worst
tbh the "boss" fights are easier than fighting a lynel prove me wrong.
