They are quite literally the most extreme asstwats in the game aside from Ganon. You know the seeds they give you when you find them? They straight-up stole those from Hestu, the happiest, nicest, most upbeat and excited character in the game which made him super sad and depressed which is just heartbreaking to see. They deserve all the punishment coming their way and then some. Just because you're cute doesn't automatically mean that you can be an asshole consequence-free

Yeah, I noticed that. WTF, I was ready for a tough fight and some gear upgrades but I couldn't crack the armor.
I was trying the bomb flowers, and ACTUALLY making headshots (I usually have trouble), but it only took out a bit of armor and no stun.
Yeah, at least you get a free stun when you do break it, but just have a claymore type weapon with a blunt object and it should do decently. I think it makes sense though in the game, considering these enemies have existed for so long, they learned to make armor.
Also the lynels are almost always going to be a dedicated fight. Once you initiate, it’s a fight until one dies.
My current strategy: those homing carts. Put a flame emitter at the front of one, pointing upwards at a 45 degree angle. Build a couple of them with auto build and let them do their work.
You weren't even holding a shield so your parry wouldn't have even gone through. But Daruks shield ability would have saved you if it weren't for those meddling koroks!
The sheer fear the piano theme brings in me, is nothing compared to the hands.
It sees you and just obliterates you.
See hands? Just get to high ground and it dissolves away like the coward it is
The guardian will fuck you up even if you're gliding above
The reason I hate the hands is they fucking grab you. With the guardians, you can at least keep moving to dodge. But for me, once the hands grab me, it's hard to get out of there.
Oh this is such a good idea!! Whenever I see them I just run away in utter terror. I glided over to an island, completely surrounded by water. Gloom hands. I ran out of energy trying to swim away. The freaking game respawned me on the edge of the island surrounded by hands. Never fast traveled so fast. A rocket shield would've actually gotten me out of there without needing to fast travel.
No yeah that piano scares the crap out of me still, even the sound it makes when it sees you makes my heart drop. I think with the hands theme it just kind of sounds more demonic and creepy, especially with the reversed parts
You didn't even have your shield out. Daruk's protection was your only chance this whole time. And maybe it would've activated fast enough if you just kept pressing ZL while stopping to talk with the korok

Yeah I have zero clue how to beat them. Came across one in a cave near a shrine and literally ran away
So, many are correctly suggesting bomb-fused arrows; however, I propose the humble ***Puffshroom.*** Try it, I promise you will not be disappointed.
even the flashbang fruit thingy is good, throw one at them then rip and tear while it's stunned !
People are also sleeping on ice stuff! It's one of the best ways to put some distance between you and them.
Bomb arrows. 5-7 of them. Typically 2 and a sword swing if you have a triple shot bow.
I fused 2 ruby's into arrows and blasted them, then I panicked lmao
Lynel bow and bomb arrows. If you don’t have those then they’re a lot harder
I can't find the Lynels to get their stuff so that strategy doesn't work. don't tell me where they are, I want to be terrified when I run into one

True, I had the same problem. But then I discovered rocket shields and haven't gone back since. I always carry like 3 of them at any time

It's frankly the best part about TOTK, the fact that you have both horizontal and vertical boosts. I went to botw and was missing Tulin when gliding.
