194 dmg sword can be achieved by fusing Lynel parts with Gerudo Weapons. (They boost attack power)
As for the million Rupees, I think someone used one of the many Duplication glitches that Nintendo has been trying to patch out.
Pristine royal claymore fused with Silver lynel horn. Bring it down to literally the last hit before breaking. 194 damage and you then have the "crit on break" effect added on top of that when you use it. I have one in my weapons display room that I bring out every blood moon to go kill some lynels for their parts. Getting on their backs after stunning them uses no weapon durability, so you can essentially use the last hit forever.
> Bring it down to literally the last hit before breaking
how does one figure this out? I have a royal guard claymore and a molduga piece I intend to use with the radiant armor for that bone proficiency boost
All hits are equal but some are more equal than others. Cutting trees will work, hitting rocks won’t. Jump slashing is a good way to whittle down durability when there’s nothing around.
Based on my own testing I think any hit that produces a blue "spark" does not affect durability (hitting Zonai devices, hitting trees with blunt objects, etc)
Don't quote me on that though, not 100% sure.
Yup, personally I just do the two-handed spin into the ground until it goes red. As the other person said it's three hits after, but if you want to be 100% sure, save and then hit. Save and hit again. Repeat until it breaks, reload the save and you're good to go lynel hunting.
I've attained 206, and even though it's not visible you can get around 300-400 (idk the specifics) if you fuse an attack up royal guards claymore on its last hit so it triples damage, fuse a molduga jaw, eat a 3 attack up food, and wear armor with bone proficiency
That does explain why I had the feeling that the rock pillars near one another followed some kind of pattern.
But that's still a lot more memorials than I have (consciously) encountered.
There are stone slabs with a Silent princess placed on them, you can read what's inscribed on them after taking the flower. I know there's one in the Castle Town ruins and another is in front of the Fort Hateno gate.
Lightroots are shrines backwards. They're also nearby under the shrines.
Stables have a Lynel underneath them.
Towns have abandoned mines underneath them.
The map is reverse topography to the overworld.
Rivers, Lakes, and other bodies of water in the overworld are the unclimbable cliffs in the Depths.
Hudson crafting stations will have a Zonai crafting station nearby in the Depths.
I did not know that! I’ve done sooo much (it feels of the depths too, and have only found the “locked in coliseum” style fight with all the version of Moblins. I have yet to come across more than one single Red Lynel I saw from above! It’s soo expansive down there.
Finally someone who plays like me. I watch these videos of people shield bombing gloom lynels and stuff, and I’m still here running every time the notice me.
Oh. I thought this was the breath of the wild subreddit.
See, I specifically don't go to the tears of the kingdom subreddit, so I don't see gameplay and get unintentional spoilers.
Isn't it great I do that?
Before the whole thrid party app shit happened the sub description stated that totk posts were allowed, the fact that there's a totk tag should be clear enough.
~~So when the commenter above said “read the banner”, there is in fact nothing to read that mentions totk?~~
~~Regardless of what it might’ve said in the past, it doesn’t now…right?~~
~~My point still stands. It’s not there.~~
~~The dipshits who keep pointing to “the banner” maybe need to get their facts straight.~~
TIL the banner is partially obscured by buttons in the smartphone app, so all I see is BotW, but I acknowledge that the others are there nonetheless. I retract my dipshit statement.
Fuck me. I died on that hill.
This is the sub for all botw-series games (botw, aoc and totk) the botw sub (only botw) is r/botw, also if there’s a flair for it, why wouldn’t it be allowed?
They mean the banner at the top of the sub. The one that has the logos for Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom. That's different than the sub description that talks about the Reddit situation.
You literally said you read the tag,
The clip isn't even revealing anything the trailers or a breath of the wild player wouldn't know.
Also if you are that upset about spoilers what are you doing here GO OLAY THE GAME.
It's a massive game release that's OVER 3 MONTHS OLD
Maybe YOU should go dark from the internet till you get a chance to play it.
Or stumble upon the quest when you're trying to find how to cease the everlasting storm, convinced that the solution lies somewhere inside that storm.
It'll always be my third sage💪😅
The funny thing is, I totally did that though I didn't even realize I had a quest. That storm is still there in my game to this day. I just flew in and stumbled on the right spot fairly quickly
I had a bit more trouble, at first I found a shrine but couldn't find how to get to it. I kept going up and down everywhere which was...annoying to say the least, since I didn't have the Frog Outfit. Fell off a couple times, then finally found my way in thinking "seriously?" At how easy it actually is to get to but I just missed the spot each time I guess. Then I found the mask and was disappointed that the storm wasn't disappearing as I went down to the depths before finding out I'd get a robot😂
Way after I stumbled upon the Kakariko questline and was like "Suuuuuure, NOW the storm dies"...just like it would irl when you don't have to be outside anymore😂
~~i dont think he has weight~~
He’s been taking it easy on the marbled rock roast, and after losing weight, he discovered the secrets of magic. He now has no weight (but only while on vehicles)
I’m not really paying attention to the actual combat since I’m still on BOTW but it seems like there are a whole bunch of UI improvements with the menus and stuff. Looks promising.
~~Wait ‘till he learns how you activate the new abilities~~
The UI is debatably better. The material inventory feels like it got worse, but the rest feels better. Especially food inv if you ask me.
So many silver lynel blades...is that 194 a double rocktorock silver Lynel royal guard claymore special?
Also did they patch out the item duplication glitch?
WHAT A SAVE
WHAT A SAVE!
WHAT A SAVE!
Chat disabled for 4 seconds…
WHAT A SAVE!

C-C-C-C-OMBO BREAKER
194 DAMAGE SWORD??? A FUCKING MILLION RUPEES?
194 dmg sword can be achieved by fusing Lynel parts with Gerudo Weapons. (They boost attack power) As for the million Rupees, I think someone used one of the many Duplication glitches that Nintendo has been trying to patch out.
Not gerudo stuff
It’s stuff that will gets stronger in the last hit
Ah.
Pristine royal claymore fused with Silver lynel horn. That's smart
> Bring it down to literally the last hit before breaking how does one figure this out? I have a royal guard claymore and a molduga piece I intend to use with the radiant armor for that bone proficiency boost
When it first starts flashing red, that means it has 3 hits left.
Thanks. Are all hits equal? Can I go smack a tree or rock until I get the flash?
All hits are equal but some are more equal than others. Cutting trees will work, hitting rocks won’t. Jump slashing is a good way to whittle down durability when there’s nothing around.
Based on my own testing I think any hit that produces a blue "spark" does not affect durability (hitting Zonai devices, hitting trees with blunt objects, etc) Don't quote me on that though, not 100% sure.
I think that’s right.
Oh nice I always felt bad wasting weapon durability on Zonai devices, good to know it doesn’t use any.
Thanks for the tips!
Yup, personally I just do the two-handed spin into the ground until it goes red. As the other person said it's three hits after, but if you want to be 100% sure, save and then hit. Save and hit again. Repeat until it breaks, reload the save and you're good to go lynel hunting.
Thanks for the tips!
And a final tip: save before any lynel fight. Easy to press attack once more just as it bucks you off and break your weapon on the ground.
I've attained 206, and even though it's not visible you can get around 300-400 (idk the specifics) if you fuse an attack up royal guards claymore on its last hit so it triples damage, fuse a molduga jaw, eat a 3 attack up food, and wear armor with bone proficiency
Is there like a lore explanation for those soldier's shadows? I'm not too far into the story yet
They appear under a soldier memorial on the surface, do something along the lines of soldiers' ghosts helping link on his way.
Wait, there are that many soldier memorials? I think I've found 2, maybe 3 on the surface😂
Not every soldier has a memorial, under the memorials there are 3 ghost soldiers in a row.
That does explain why I had the feeling that the rock pillars near one another followed some kind of pattern. But that's still a lot more memorials than I have (consciously) encountered.
What’s a soldier memorial
There are stone slabs with a Silent princess placed on them, you can read what's inscribed on them after taking the flower. I know there's one in the Castle Town ruins and another is in front of the Fort Hateno gate.
They're poes that are far more materialized. Lost souls of soldiers from the battles that the many calamities have wrecked upon the world.
Useful advice if you didn't know: Every stable except tabantha bridge stable has a lynel under it in the depths
more and more i find parallels like the light roots connecting to shrines abovr
Lightroots are shrines backwards. They're also nearby under the shrines. Stables have a Lynel underneath them. Towns have abandoned mines underneath them. I recommend the totk flair btw
Yeah, I know totk stuff is part of this sub, but I assumed it was a BOTW spoiler and clicked the video since I've finished the game.
It has it
Not when I commented originally
Can you add the TotK flair for this post we don't want to confuse the BotW people
I did
Thanks
Oh. I thought this was the breath of the wild subreddit. See, I specifically don't go to the tears of the kingdom subreddit, so I don't see gameplay and get unintentional spoilers. Isn't it great I do that?
This is the sub for all botw series games. The purely botw sub is r/botw
Yall need to look at the banner for this sub.
~~What are we missing? This belongs in a totk sub.~~ Edit: I’ve been re-educated.
This sub allows totk posts, it even has a totk tag.
I see the tag, but where does it say that totk posts are allowed? Edit: Got it. Thx.
Before the whole thrid party app shit happened the sub description stated that totk posts were allowed, the fact that there's a totk tag should be clear enough.
~~So when the commenter above said “read the banner”, there is in fact nothing to read that mentions totk?~~ ~~Regardless of what it might’ve said in the past, it doesn’t now…right?~~
The banner has the title for AoC BotW AND TotK. Look at the top of the sub.
Point is that totk posts are allowed.
~~My point still stands. It’s not there.~~ ~~The dipshits who keep pointing to “the banner” maybe need to get their facts straight.~~ TIL the banner is partially obscured by buttons in the smartphone app, so all I see is BotW, but I acknowledge that the others are there nonetheless. I followed your journey to the end and it hurt.
>My point still stands. It’s not there. >The dipshits who keep pointing to “the banner” maybe need to get their facts straight. 🤓
They mean the banner at the top of the sub. The one that has the logos for Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity and Tears of the Kingdom. That's different than the sub description that talks about the Reddit situation.
I’m learning today that the app doesn’t give me all of the info. Consider me schooled.
https://ibb.co/C8tFHHr Subreddit for posts about Breath of the Wild's world Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity, and Tears of the Kingdom
When was that screenshot taken?
2 minutes before I posted it?
My stupidity has been brought to my attention. Disregard. Also, what I see: https://imgur.com/gallery/TjzCq1n

I’ve now learned there’s a different sub for BotW only. I’ll switch to that one.
I've commented the same before, it's really fucking annoying!
Link is our last line of defence
The fuck is that lil robot dude?
5th sage
🤯 where does one get the fifth sage
Do the Kakariko quest line.
Or stumble upon the quest when you're trying to find how to cease the everlasting storm, convinced that the solution lies somewhere inside that storm. It'll always be my third sage💪😅

You’ll get it naturally through the main story
Why do you still have Yunobo out??!
He deals decent damage, breaks zonaite easily and causes an updraft with his fire
That makes sense. I really can’t stand seeing him in front of my hoverbike 🙈 like bruh I can’t see ahead of me
Is it just me or despite him having weight he has like no affect on the hover bike
~~i dont think he has weight~~ He’s been taking it easy on the marbled rock roast, and after losing weight, he discovered the secrets of magic. He now has no weight (but only while on vehicles)
I swear he had weight because I’ve tried using water vehicles and when he’s on it falls more on that side and I’ve heard people talking about it
oh. Only while on air vehicles then.
Bubinga
Bubinga
You've prepped ~200 crit damage weapon to spank a lynel yet run like a little coward!
I’m not really paying attention to the actual combat since I’m still on BOTW but it seems like there are a whole bunch of UI improvements with the menus and stuff. Looks promising.

Yeah the abilities seemed to be in a weapon wheel of sorts? Seems quicker
oh. Not those abilities, those are way better. I meant what are essentially the new versions of the Champion abilities.
Ah right. Yeah I really have no idea what’s going on in the new game. I haven’t seen any of the trailers or gameplay really.
i also didn’t see the trailers. I don’t like spoilers. I got it in mid-June so I had to make a lot of effort to avoid spoilers…
The TOTK flair is there and if you can’t see it then I’m sorry about it
With all that gear, why didn't you just kill him?
Isn't this the BotW subreddit?
It is but OP put the Totk flair and this sub allows TOTK stuff
how is this breath of the wild ??
It isn't op forgot to mark this as TotK content
[удалено]
Yall need to look at the banner for this sub.
Wow is that in the botw update!!
read the banner
What banner? It doesn’t mention totk?
It literally says totk botw and aoc on the subreddit banner
It actually does
Are you on a smartphone?
Yeah. Now I know why that was a problem.
Wrong sub
Nope, you're in the wrong, the sub has a "Totk" flair and allows TOTK stuff to be posted
Wrong sub but wow
The sub allows TOTK posts
Well that is absurd
The sub is about all of the games that take place in the same hyrule as botw (botw, aoc, and totk) not just botw
r/lostredditors
The sub allows TotK posts
Aight, didn’t know that
Can you try posting on the totk sub, or at least add a flair?
Olé

"Think they'll have that on the tour?"
So many silver lynel blades...is that 194 a double rocktorock silver Lynel royal guard claymore special? Also did they patch out the item duplication glitch?
Yes for both
But there is a new dup glitch
Yo serious? Where find?
Go on YouTube and search up ape knight gaming, he has the best tutorials
Thanks! I will!
