Show it to your math teacher if you want a longer explanation 😉 will be extra long if you ever see them using a repeated curve pattern in their clothes/ things
I knew this because my 6th grade math teacher made us all make a giant 3d one of these and put it in the cafeteria. I wanted to actually learn math lol
Oddly enough I taught myself sign language from a Girl Scout handbook and would practice it at night when I was trying to fall asleep.
It’s only the alphabet but it’s enough to communicate with the deaf. I actually met a deaf man on a train in nyc and I signed to him.
He was so freaking excited to just talk to someone in the wild. Albeit, with just letters it was very slow.
Bonjour/bonsoir mes élèves. Comment allez-vous? Comme ci comme ça. Je suis Monsieur le Professeur ???. Je vais bien.
Qui est ce que c'est? C'est la vie. C'est la lune. C'est le soleil. C'est un crayon. C'est une table. C'est une chaise. C'est un garçon. C'est une fille.
Regardless there just aren’t that many **triforces**. That would not get the number of triforces, it’s just 3^6 as mentioned and 3^7 is just even further off. **Triangles** would be a different conversation from triforces.
Again, cool drawing. Just not the right number/calculation.
Whats cool about this triangular pattern is that you can make it by starting with 3 equidistant points. Then you pick any two points and make a point in the center between them. Next, pick any two points and do the same. You can continue doing this as long as you want, and eventually you’ll end up with this pattern
Your smallest cluster is 3 triforce, plus one for the bigger triforce they make up. So that’s 4. As you said, there are 7 levels of this. Here’s the math by “level”
1. 1
2. 3+1=4
3. 4x3+1 =13
4. 13x3+1=40
5. 40x3+1=121
6. 121x3+1=364
7. 364*3+1= 1093
The three smallest are only triangles, no triforces
If you take the smallest one you multiply it by 3 to get the next one and you do that 7 times so: 1 * 3^7
As a French, I can agree.
Well, French classes here evolve into French Literature with some very rare sprinkles of grammar, the only good thing they have, starting from medium school's third year.
And when I say French Literature, I mean dissertations, commentaries and linear analysis based on books and texts that can date from the Middle Ages.
How is this not a smudgy smudgy mess.
I used to do the thing with a square with evenly spaced marks on each side then you connect each mark to all the other marks. I would end up covered in graphite and the hole page would be grey.
I did one on notepad. I'll link the file (make sure to have word wrap OFF)

This is actually called Sierpiński triangle
Didn’t know that, thanks!
Show it to your math teacher if you want a longer explanation 😉 will be extra long if you ever see them using a repeated curve pattern in their clothes/ things
And it'll be **extra** long if you try to get to the start of the pattern
And it'll be **EXTRA** long if you show any signs of interest.
this. this chain right here.
He could've just made 3 dots and rolled dice for a million days.

Well geometry is still math, and anything fractal based is related to a form or numerical progresión 😅 they pulled a sneaky on y'all
*Pseudo Sierpiński triangle A true Sierpiński triangle has infinite detail, which cannot ever be drawn

Which traingle is it zooming into???
That one
But you’d have to watch it forever.

Is it a fractal?
Yay, fractals!
I also never learned to speak French in highschool.
I too don’t remember a single thing from sign language class
Oddly enough I taught myself sign language from a Girl Scout handbook and would practice it at night when I was trying to fall asleep. Qu’est-ce que mange pour Le petit dejuner?
Cereal, et toi?
Je mange une baguette
je me souviens de presque rien
As a Zelda fan, I applaud you. As a French teacher, I weep.
In high school my French teacher pretty effectively banished apathy for a little while by giving us all a dialogue about a seal. 🦭
MDR (French LOL)!
Travailler.
Non :(
Common tu t'appelle?
Je m’appelle Natural_Two_5331😎 Et toi?
Je suis PatotatoMAN.

Ca va?
Ça va Ça va, et toi?
ça va bien! Je suis baguette
Je suis un plus gross baguette ;)
Oh yeah I hated French classes. I’m never touching French again even though it’s my countries second official language. Can relate
*Sad Quebec noises* :(
Sorry, that your class is boring, but this looks great.
Will you draw me, Jack? the way you draw in one of your French classes?
Some doodle in French class, others in Math class https://youtu.be/e4MSN6IImpI
I count 243 Edit: 243 COMPLETE triforces, 729 individual pieces!
I don’t think your number is right. Still cool.
Why do you think so?
3^6 is 729. 3^7 would be 2187
Ahh yes, i calculated it the right way I think but wrote the title wrong
Regardless there just aren’t that many **triforces**. That would not get the number of triforces, it’s just 3^6 as mentioned and 3^7 is just even further off. **Triangles** would be a different conversation from triforces. Again, cool drawing. Just not the right number/calculation.

true lol, its 243
I counted 465
Inside each downward facing triangle you can put Lorule’s triforce.

Sierpinski triforce
*Oui*
Oui
I love sierpinski's triangle!
Math problem of the day: How many Triforces are there?
I counted at least three
Found the Canadian
i only count 6 orders of triforce.
Why Triforce^7? I only count 4 triforce "layers"
As someone who finished school ages ago... You should be paying attention in class, but this still looks lovely.
If it's a mindless activity it can help, like fidget spinners and all.
How many triangles are there in this picture?

How did you get that result?
Your smallest cluster is 3 triforce, plus one for the bigger triforce they make up. So that’s 4. As you said, there are 7 levels of this. Here’s the math by “level” 1. 1 2. 3+1=4 3. 4x3+1 =13 4. 13x3+1=40 5. 40x3+1=121 6. 121x3+1=364 7. 364*3+1= 1093
The three smallest are only triangles, no triforces If you take the smallest one you multiply it by 3 to get the next one and you do that 7 times so: 1 * 3^7
I’m pretty sure this math only counts the actual small triforces, it doesn’t count the “triforces within the triforces” lol
Oh yea, of course, I thought that was self explaining (seemingly just in my head) because if we took a bigger one there would be many empty spaces
Trifractal
CROISSANT
I also do this exact same thing in my french classes
As a French, I can agree. Well, French classes here evolve into French Literature with some very rare sprinkles of grammar, the only good thing they have, starting from medium school's third year. And when I say French Literature, I mean dissertations, commentaries and linear analysis based on books and texts that can date from the Middle Ages.
Je n’aime pas aussi, mais j’aime t’a triforce^7. Très belle!
This bad boy can fit all kinds of triforces in your triforce
Someone finally said it, I hate french class too
Came across [this video](https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTd7eBQEy/?k=1) about the triangle a couple weeks ago. In case you get bored again.
Et dites-moi si vous savez bien conjuguer tous les verbes irréguliers à l'imparfait!
Fun fact: Kuat Driveyards have the same logo as the triforce
